Dishonnest company
Initially they wanted 10 euros as the car was "dirty". When we presented them with the docket proving we cleaned it they "discovered" a chip hence they retained our deposit of AUD3000. The chip was in there when we rented the car and we told them about but they did not mark it as it as the windshield was not cracked. Later they claimed more than AUD1000 for repairs. Pure insurance fraud.
Beware of them and carflexi.com which recommends them warmly.

This company should be banned. They have taken my £1500 deposit because the car was dirty. They appear to keep sending out a car with a slow puncture and charge each customer for putting it right. When you do the initial check you had better check every single scratch before you drive it away and then check they are all on your copy of the carbon copy agreement. They do it lightly with tiny marks so you don't have a record of anything yourself.
I have rented from dozens of companies in many countries and this one is the worst and most dishonest. The whole business has the feel of a scam operation.
Scammers: charge for fake damage
Just as the other reviews here have confirmed. The typical rental car scam of damage charges. They will charge you for the tiniest scratch that is invisible without a magnifying glass. This is of course illegal in EU law and has been eliminated from the reputable car hire companies. It's called fair wear and tear. Be particularly aware of this company being used through 3rd party suppliers such as Economycarrentals.com or holidayautos.com. They will sell you the additional 'excess insurance' and then refuse to pay when you try to claim. Steer well clear of these con merchants.
Avoid at all costs
A classic scam with the alleged chip/dirty car. Unfortunately for them I have receipts I have cleaned the car and pictures so I am quietly confident I will get my money back eventually.
I could have done without this stress so learn from my experience and use someone else.

Rented a car from Magrenta (Aventil Travel & Hol SRL) via Holiday Autos website in autumn 2018 full to full policy.
Was picked up from arrivals at the airport by agent driving the car to be rented. Petrol tank was close to empty. Was told by the agent to wash the car before returning it as they do not have the time to do it.
On returning the car the agent noticed a 2cm hairline scratch on the front bumper close to the ground. The cost for the repair was £345. Personal car hire excess insurance covered the costs. My emails to the company after returning the car remained unanswered.
I would attach pics in support but no option to do this.
AVOID this company at all costs
AVOID this company at all costs! When you return the car they will look with a fine tooth comb for even the smallest of marks, and when they find one you WILL be sent an astronomical bill 2 weeks later. Its bordering on criminal but this is how they make their money.
A stress from start to finish
A stress from start to finish - choose this company if you'd like to spend your whole holiday in fear of being charged hundreds of pounds at the end! They used scare tactics to try and get more money out of me despite having already bought CDW. Save yourself the stress by spending a bit more money on a reputable company.

Awful. I paid for CDW in advance online on the booking website but they said they did not recognise the company and insisted on 1500 euros deposit or a 200-250 increase in fees for reduced deposit. Then tried to charge me an extra day for late return when I was returning it early. Don’t use them!!

I can confirm what the most of the people wrote about this company. Better to dont have business with them. Minor scratches that is difficult to be observed during check in process, especially in the sunny weather or when the car has a thin layer of dust. It's look like they want to get more money from your excess than from the rental price. Shame to them in my point of view. More than 300 euros I had to pay for a scratch that in other countries would be just ignored. I hope people will be more carefuly dealing with this people.

Rude, non flexible and expensive company that we found non empathic at all. Worst commercial approach. Our trip was perfect but this company is really not worth it, plenty of competitors at Otopeni airport are way better.

They are professional crooks - this all company is a fraud.
We rented out 3 cars, and two of them had "damages".. they took 900 euros for a few scratches - they also lied to my face that they are releasing the deposit when actually it was fully charged, and we realized that only when we got home.
We suspect they locate the cars a day or two prior the return and damaging the cars themselves just for the deposits.

Do not use this company, Magrenta at Bucuresti airport. They cheat their customers if you do not take full insurance of them. They find small scratches that are hard to see and say this have you done, and draw a crazy sum for this from the depositum.

They are more interested about the guarantee that you leave there...and they use this system with everyone who come from another country as a tourist . Many people have had the same experience like me ....If you rent a car from them, they will try to make you lose the guarantee for a scratch ... PLEASE do not rent cars from the airport especially Magrenta

Worst experience ever with a car rental agency
Those who experienced the roads and the driving habits in Romania know that statistically the chances of having at least a little scratch or chip on a car are quite considerable. Any decent company would not even mention the majority of such barely visible scratches. Magrenta makes this a central point of their business charging extremely high amounts for any scratch you would consider insignificant.
Magrenta charged me 300 euros for a scratch which I could have fixed with a 10 euros touch up paint if wouldn't have had a plane to catch.
