The taxi driver stole my money and kicked me out

I was robbed by one of magnums taxi drivers, his name is Khalid raziqi.

I couldn’t get an uber because it was super busy, I checked online to see if magnum did card payments, it said they did, so I called for a taxi, downloaded the app to pay. When the taxi arrived I let the driver know I needed to pay by card as I had no cash, I usually can’t carry cash due to a mental disability which results in short term memory loss, I often lose cash so card payments are a lot safer for me because if I lose my card I can cancel it. The driver had an aggressive and confrontational tone, He got mad that I didn’t have cash, I let him know that I had the app to pay but wasn’t sure how it worked. He was ranting about how he had to drive 5 miles to get to me, I’m just a customer, I’m not his manager, I didn’t set him up with a customer 5 miles away, that is not something I can help. He kept asking me over and over why I didn’t have cash, a lot of people don’t carry cash nowadays, especially since a lot of taxi services do card payments now. So the app wouldn’t let me pay by card, he called someone who sent me some kind of link to pay with, got angry at me because the text for the link took a while to come through, then the link wouldn’t work, I showed him, then he said to cancel the ride and rebook it through the app, tried that, the app kept taking me in circles every time I tried to book the trip. I told him I’d have to leave it because the app wasn’t working, and I was feeling uncomfortable from his aggressive attitude, tried to leave, then he said I could do a bank transfer. I wanted to leave but was afraid of what would happen if I did because I was alone and in a vulnerable position, so I caved to pressure and he put his details into my phone for the transfer, it didn’t go through as Lloyds automatically blocked that card, probably due to past dodgy activity on his account, then he said he’d try another card, he put the details in again, that time it went through as it came out in my end, then he started claiming it never came through on his. I asked him to turn the app off and on again as that should make it come up, after closing the app, it let him right back in, no passwords or anything? Every legitimate bank app makes you put in passwords for security reasons, his just didn’t, which seemed really dodgy. I showed him the money came out of my account, he claimed I never sent it and then demanded I get out of his car, I pointed out the fact he was basically robbing me as I left and he was being aggressive again, yelling at me while I left. I called for magnums customer service right after, they put me through to the guy the driver spoke to earlier, same aggressive tone, questioned why the app wasn’t working for me claiming it works for everyone else, I could only guess that the servers were down because it was busy, I don’t run the company’s app, how could I possibly know what is wrong. Then he insisted that I hadn’t sent the money, I pointed out that on their security camera footage from inside the car, it will show me literally showing him the money had being taken out of my account, he put the details in himself. The guy on phone suddenly changed his tone and said that the money would get sent back when it comes through. I checked my account this morning, they never sent it back. So they let their driver rob me and never took any accountability, I will be making a police report.

Turn up more or less time than ordered…

Turn up more or less time than ordered but perfect timing to reach my destination when required. The call to order requires modification. Driving is safe. Drivers are polite and friendly. I was only a recent customer of yours, but now it has been more than a month since I've used your service and I will continue to be a customer of your company if services continue. The modification is only my opinion.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Accepted my request and left me waiting 20 minutes. Then text with my code and didnt turn up. Avoid at all costs. Completely unprofessional service and not worth your money. Disgusting company not worth your time. Please avoid and book another
