I have ordered numerous times from their tik tok shop and from beauty bay and all the products I have received have been of excellent quality. I am building up a collection of made by mitchell products and it is wonderful to support such an inclusive make up brand

First time (and last time!) buyer of a Made By Mitchell product.

The item (curve case) arrived and I was overwhelmed with disappointment. The colours in the pallet no way resembles what has been on their social media and web page. The brown shades of bronzer & contour are green/ grey in my pallet.

I sent a message to their customer service team including comparison images and was simple told there's no issue - and I'm now being ignored.

I paid through PayPal for my item so I've opened a case - which too is being ignored!!! I am hoping paypal save the day.

I try and support "small businesses" where i can, but £30 is a lot of money for a pallet - especially when half the colours are unusable. I definitely will not be buying from this company again. Customer service leaves alot to be desired - this issue could have swiftly been resolved by them and I'd have been tempted to buy from them again- instead they've lost all my future custom.

EDITED TO ADD - I wrote this in May and get a reply in August, this is a prime example of their customer service. Still recommend avoiding!

I had originally tried my sisters blush and it was rubbish, since then I’d only heard bad reviews, however I decided to ignore these and bought the curve case after seeing good reviews all over tik tok I understand those accounts are payed to say good things but I decided to give it another chance. The curve case is terrible it lasts under an hour, doesn’t stay on and takes off your makeup in the areas you put it and is most certainly not worth £5 never mind £30. Won’t be purchasing from this brand again.

I had a severe allergic reaction to these products (I’ve never had a reaction like this before). Awful swelling on my eyes from drip drip.
I sent a polite message on the chat explaining my issues and got a short and quite unhelpful response. When I replied, I didn’t (and still haven’t) get a reply for 4 days. Gutted because I did actually really like the products and wanted to buy more but I’m now worried I’ll have this reaction to all products. My purchases are now useless to me and I expected Atleast an apology/ compensation for my now useless products. I’m hardily surprised to see all these awful reviews because the customer service was really not up to scratch and needs improving.

i ordered the mystery bundle and the products i got was amazing. first time ordering and definitely will not be the last. its all got very good pigment and none of it smudges

-i got a blursh in the shade sweet cheeks
-i got another blursh in the drip drip shade
-i got the softest beauty blender
-a brush in the size me11 or mc11
-a graph-ink liquid liner in the shade black milk
- and a all lip no trip in the shade cutie patootie

all of it will definitely be used thank you so much x

Ordered the item on 09/04, delivered on 11/04 via DPD, no issues at all, the product is gorgeous, packaged beautifully, highly pigmented black lipstick with no transfer once dry. I see some people complaining about scent, but my items don't have any kind of smell, and the products feel pretty weightless when wearing as well, so perfect for gigs and festivals. I will say I ordered directly from the MBM website and not tiktok shop, which seems to be where a lot of the issues are coming from.

Ordered a lip gloss which arrived with an awful cheesy fishy stench. I didn’t realise until after the refund return date and they said they couldn’t do anything. Would reccomend unless you want that smell.

The most awful customer service- I ordered a case as a gift for my daughter on the 11th March. DPD lost the order and said I would need to take the matter up with Made By Mitchell as they are the customer. Have tried to contact Made By Mitchell by email, over web chat and via social media….trying to get a response is so slow and unhelpful…there weeks on and still no case nor refund. I was told I would receive a refund a week ago and have had no interaction or response since. So I am £35 down with nothing to show…terrible service

Every time I m amazed by product quality and vibrant colours. Never had any issues xx

Sent back 4 new Palettes as the quality promised vs received were nowhere near the same. My refund got accepted. I sent it back on the same day I received it and they have just messaged me to say they will not give me my £54 refund because the product is used! I told them I was sending the product back because the swatches were awful so obviously they were used. Just cancelled a £150 order as I'm so bored of this business treating their customers like crud. I can't wait for Tiktok to get banned so I don't have to see their fake ads everywhere

I ordered from them back in December because I'd heard so many great things about the products. I got a Drip Drip mystery bundle, the Blursh Lights in Nova Nights and the original Blursh in Cherry Cola. I was somewhat disappointed by what came in my bundle, but I wasn't expecting to get perfect products. The Blursh Lights was disappointing too, as the product never dries down like the shade Drip Drip does and doesn't stay in place even if you powder it. I tried it on my eyes as a base to a similar shade of eyeshadow that I packed ontop of it and it had creased within 30 minutes. But I was moreso disappointed by the original Blursh. When myself and my friends all looked at shades, none of us noticed that any of them contain glitter/shimmer and the desciption claimed it was a "satin powder matte finish". Upon arrival and swatching, the shade had a gold shimmer in it which wasn't what I really wanted. I was hoping for something I could use for both my femme and masculine makeup looks and shimmer doesn't work for what I want out of my masc makeup. I also found the product to be extremely difficult to use, as it doesn't blend out very well and dries so fast that you barely have time to blend it anyway. I've found a way to make it work for me but I'm still disappointed, especially when they claim these are "highly blendable" on the website. After a couple days of trying it, I decided to leave a review. I submitted a review to the Made By Mitchell website where I believe I gave it 2 stars and explained about the shimmer and how difficult it is to blend due to how fast it dies at the end of December or start of January. Sadly I cannot remember the exact date, as it has been a while. However, it is now 19/03/2023 and my review has still not been published. Almost 3 months and they won't put up an honest review of their product? With their products being extremely average for a higher price point, and their lack of honest regarding reviews, I'd recommend saving your money and shopping elsewhere.

Absolutely appalling I ordered a jelly bag mystery bundle and a Valentine’s Day bundle I received both fast , as I opened them one of the items( all smudge no budge liner) was damaged had stains on the side of the pencil also had hairs on the tip as though someone had been using it , I checked the rest of the makeup to make sure there were no other damages fortunately there wasn’t but there was makeup stains everywhere on some of the makeup items and on the insides of the boxes there was especially a lot of makeup stains in my sponge pouch which made so sick to my stomach I also didn’t receive six items in my Valentine’s Day bundle like I should have I contacted customer service and Mitchell but have yet to get a reply at this point I’m absolutely I just want my items replaced or my money back

Some of the brushes arrived cracked, I have contacted them via the website, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. I have done the complaint via TikTok early January and I’m yet to get a response. This is very disheartening

I heard about made by Mitchell on tiktok so I thought I'd have a look at his makeup selection. I've been buying his products for a few years now and every single product has been incredible. I love how unique Mitchell's products are my favourites are the liquid eyeshadows and his makeup brushes, they're so soft too. Everything I've bought from made by Michael is amazing I also love the mystery boxes they do 😆. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I’ve probably ordered 20+ times on the TikTok shop and it always comes on time and the quality of the products is incredible! I fell in love with Mitch’s products since 2022, buying his products is so addictive bc they’re so good and for amazing prices!

My parcel was never delivered to the pick up shop as I asked for. Both made by Mitchell and dpd claim it was yet the post office have searched for it and allowed me to look as well. Made by Mitchell are not replying to my emails. As they will know by now the parcel hasn’t been collected and dpd where unable to return it as it was not at the post office as is claimed by this company. Do not order from this company as customer service is nonexistent and they clearly only care about taking your money. Shame I had to put 1 star they don’t deserve that.
