Solution to cancel your autorenewal
At first it caused some trouble to cancel my autorenewal. I was a bit surprised when my card was charged again after 30 days. I only used the eSIM for a holiday and I thought I cheched everything if it was a recurring plan... Unfortunately not.
I tried everything in the MyLyca portal.
Kim helped me cancel my autorenewal through the chat support. Type "cancel bundle" and "need help" to chat with a person.

Impossibile trasferire l'eSIM da un telefono all'altro, il che è un problema serio in caso di guasto del telefono.

Cannot transfer eSIM from one phone to another, which is a major issue if your phone fails.
I was told by Lyca support to purchase a new eSIM, and that I would be refunded immediately. 6 weeks later, Lyca are refusing to refund.

Further to your concern, please be informed that we have successfully requested a refund before but it was rejected because the bundle has been used.
I phoned your support and explained what had happened and they said “We understand the problem, and the old SIM could no longer be used, so please purchase another SIM and we will refund you €5.99 for the SIM that does not work”.
The whole episode of not being able to transfer an eSIM(which you can with other providers) and subsequent phone calls where I was promised a refund on 3 occasions has left me disappointed and frustrated with your service and lack of professionalism.
It concerns me that if I have a physical problem with my phones that I will not be able to transfer to a replacement phone.

Very poor service.
1. Bought the esims twice because the first one did not work and the CS recommended to buy a new one but still didn’t work.
2. Talked to CS and supposed to get refund but nothing has happened until now.
3. Emailed them a number of times to get refund for the esims and auto-renewal and very poor response - a) different agents requested different things b) though you already responded, they asked the same questions again. Seems like no system integration and not updated.
Not recommend to use this Lyca in Italy ever. Just to get the number worked would take ages

Getting in touch with a support agent for the Italian side is like pulling teeth. 6hrs later, I spoke with one to get my Esim repartitioned because I deleted it before activating (my fault.) Well, they disconnected and did not send me a new QR code. The next agent told me I have to buy new service??
I just want a new QR code sent so I can set this service up for family traveling abroad. I have never seen worse customer service.

The worst services in eSIM
I bought a prepaid eSim. After a long and difficult process of registration when they ask very many information included ID card photo, they gave me a phone number and told me to wait for 24 hours for activation. After 20 hours approximately, I received a message for activation, but ANOTHER NUMBER !! Of course, my eSIM did not functioned and I wrote to company an email for customet suport what is the problem. I wrote to them 3
emails until now, but I did not receive a email by one week. Thank you for your " quality" of services. Shame you !

Don't use lyca!
I registered my Sim and now can't activate it on my phone. I've tried contacting customer services 6 times. They either never chat to me or disconnect me after they told me it should work (it doesn't!) so frustrating,.would have never bought for my holiday had I known. I've purchased it because the Sim card I bought in Italy was bogus and had hardly any reception and now I've just paid even more money for something that doesn't even work. Italy is absolute garbage if you need to use your phone. Avoid Italian telecoms

Unfair Auto-Renewal and No Easy Way to Cancel
I purchased a travel SIM card during my holiday in Italy to use for just two weeks. Since then, the company has been charging me automatically through a recurring plan renewal, with no option to cancel online. The only way to stop it is by calling their customer service, which means waiting on hold for ages—and since I’m abroad, calling Italy is expensive. The only solution I’ve found is to cancel my bank card to prevent further charges. Such a frustrating waste of time and money. Avoid this company.

Registration Problem
I ordered a package from LyaMobile with 200GB esim to use it on holiday, because my default data package ran out. I got an email but cannot register because of the identity validation. I tried it several times with passport or drivers license. After an hour trying and always receiving the same error i also tried to write an email, but got no response. This was 2 days ago and the money is lost!

AWFUL! Days after registration my sim still hasn’t been activated. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN’T EXIST! I tried to chat both italy and uk: nobody there. Phoned both in Italian and English: nobody. Email: no reply.
At this point I’ve lost €10 and I can say that LYCAMOBILE ITALY IS A SCAM!
After writing this message my sim has been surprisingly activated eventually.

Lycamobile Italy didn't assist me despite replying to their Trustpilot email.

Tutto è iniziato con una perdita di segnale inaspettata. Ho chiamato Lycamobile Italia così tante volte per questo problema, che tutto ciò che hanno potuto fare è stato un aggiornamento della rete, che non ha funzionato. Ho dovuto riavviare il telefono ogni volta che succedeva. A volte, 5 volte al giorno, e ora anche il riavvio non funziona. Inizialmente Lycamobile mi ha fatto pensare che il problema fosse il mio iPhone, che è ancora in garanzia. Ho controllato tutto, l'iPhone funziona bene.
Ora, non ho più segnale sul mio dispositivo nemmeno dopo il riavvio.
Quando ho chiesto loro un'altra eSIM, l'operatore mi ha detto che dovevo andare in un negozio locale e acquistare la SIM fisica o la eSIM e che non potevano aiutarmi.
Non affidatevi mai a Lycamobile, il loro servizio clienti è pessimo.
Now, my iphone's eSIM no longer detects any networks.
It all started with an unexpected loss of signal. I called Lycamobile Italy so many times about this problem that all they could do was update the network, which didn't work. I had to restart my phone every time it happened. Sometimes, five times a day, and now even restarting doesn't work. Initially, Lycamobile made me think the problem was with my iPhone, which is still under warranty. I checked everything, and the iPhone works fine.
Now, I no longer have signal on my device, even after restarting.
When I asked them for another eSIM, the operator told me I had to go to a local store and buy the physical SIM or eSIM, and that they couldn't help me.
Never trust Lycamobile; their customer service is terrible.

Cheap, nasty, rude and unhelpful
Don't waste your time, energy and money on Lyca. I agree with EVERY review posted (one star). They are all rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. I purchased the Lyca 5G 200 €9.99 which included unlimited calls/sms and EU roaming (13gb) however l was unable to text, receive calls/make calls. The only way l could send/receive messages was with wifi, even though my iMessage was not activated and those l was messaging were not using iMessage. I called Lyca after the first day and explained my situation. The consultant was so rude and unhelpful that l asked to speak to a supervisor. Of course the excuse was given to me, the supervisor is in a meeting and will call me back within 24 hours, this did not occur. I called every day thereafter (8 times a day) but never got through. I sent an email and received no response. I continued calling each day, all day until l got through on the 14th day. The consultant was more rude than the first. I requested a full refund but was advised that l could not get one because l had used it for 14 days. What a joke....... l reported the issue on day 2 of purchasing the sim/plan. I paid for a service so l expect that service to be provided, especially the basics of messaging and calls. When l requested the refund l was advised that l would receive a call within 5 business days, it's now 14 business days and have not heard a thing and my plan expires in 2 days. I am now in Malta and am unable to message/call anyone even though they are part of the EU. Lyca also tried to push the problem back onto the store where l purchased the sim/plan (a third party). I was told that as a result from purchasing it from a store and paid cash, l may not be able to get a refund . I argued that this 3rd party is selling a Lyca product and representing Lyca which means Lyca is responsible for any issues that occur. The supervisor tried to deny any responsibility. As l said, and many others have too, don't go with Lyca, it's not worth the headache and the last thing you want to do on holidays is make calls to a telephone company that are miserable, rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. I have always gone with Vodafone in the previous years and NEVER had a problem but someone mentioned Lyca and l thought l would give them a try..... a BIG MISTAKE.....
Please don’t think that when Lyca reply on your review and apologise, saying they will look into it, they don’t. They show that they care on the reviews but it’s all show. In actual fact, if the service you paid for worked and if the consultants did their job in the first place there would not be any negative reviews. DON’T go anywhere near them!!!!

Terrible Experience with Lyca Mobile
I’ve had an absolutely awful experience with Lyca Mobile Italia. I was without my number for over a month, and only after posting a review here I have got some attention. Until then, I was completely ignored.
There is no real Italian customer service. It’s incredibly frustrating. I spent weeks sending tons of emails, spent hours on the phone, and ended up buying two different eSIMs based on the incorrect advice from their customer service. To this day, I haven’t received any refund for those.
Eventually, I got my number back — but here’s the kicker: even though my plan includes unlimited calls and texts, I’m being charged for every single call, both outgoing and incoming, while I’m abroad.
To make it worse, I never signed up for email marketing, but I receive spam emails from Lyca Mobile every single day.
Avoid Lyca Mobile at all costs.

Worst experience ever with an esim
Worst experience ever with an esim. Spent one hour trying to register the esim, the website kept on crashing and I was asked a million questions, I had to upload various documents and submit all my personal details in order to just activate the esim. After all this process, the activation code is not working. I have tried to reach the customer service by email, phone and on the website, and I was not able to get in touch with anybody. I would truly not recommend.
