Overall: I would strongly advise against Lycamobile based on my personal experience. While their prices are competitive, especially for international travel, the abysmal service quality and frustrating customer support make it a terrible value overall.

No 5G: Despite using a 5G-capable Pixel 7 phone, I could not access 5G on their network.
Frequent Call Drops: Regular voice loss during calls made it incredibly difficult to communicate. This issue did not occur with other SIM cards on the same device.
Billing Issues: My wife paid for six months of service upfront, yet had to contact them monthly to extend her plan. She even lost service completely for over a day on multiple occasions.

The worst customer care i been through. Stuck in an apartment with out a wifi and was relying on my Lyca sim for call and internet but countn’t get help . They keep repeting in 24 hours it Will activate . This keep going on more than 3 time. Never used Lycamobile you i Switzerland. Still waiting

Worst provider I have ever used. Bundles are not 24hrs, they are daily, so if you buy a bundle at 10pm, it is only for 2 hrs, then they will charge you again at midnight.
Additionally, if you do not have enough balance, your auto-renew will DISABLE, then next time you recharge with credit, they will eat away your balance because you no longer have auto-renew on. SCAM in my opinion.

Horrible service, no care whatsoever!
My parents arrived in switzerland last Friday, they trusted me to choose a carrier I thought lyca as it is everywhere. When I was in Australia I went with a company called Amaysim, and thought to get an eSIM would be easy like it was for me. How wrong I was. Everyday since I’ve been calling to ask for a simple QR code to activate. Firstly told us they are working on it. Then after another 2 calls plus emails they activated an account for him. However first day here he paid 39chf for a Swiss max option and now he has an account that says low balance and no money added. Honestly are the employees for Lyca experienced? They have no idea. Still no money added to the account nearly a week later. Shocked how poorly this company is and will be demanding money back and won’t give up until it’s back in my dad’s account.
This has caused such a headache with mine and my parents holidays and recommend staying away from this company!

This issue was resolved, and I received a refund. To LycaMobile, I suggest preparing a data-only plan for visitors using eSIM that doesn't require registration, passport upload, etc. Alternatively, Airalo is a good option since no ID registration is needed.

They have finally send the QR code. I have downloaded the SIM it shows 100% reception, but there is no internet although I purchased 40 GB plan. I have no further interest to engage with their support to get the internet fixed, because my trip in CH is coming to end end. Will ask for a refund and see how this goes.

Customer services are still resolving. No QR code to activate e-sim send as yet.

Oh my God! I just ordered an eSIM and QR code was also missing in the order confirmation email and I also need to travel to CH tomorrow.
I have emailed to cs at lycamobile.ch with request to resend the code. Will update my review once I hear from them.

I had an awful experience with Lyca Mobile CH.
My eSIM did not work. I emailed and chatted with them over 5 times. The issue was 'escalated to the Tech Support team.' They tell me the same thing every time and it does not work. They told me to go to a Volara kiosk. I went to two. One did not exist, and at the other, the gentleman (who was 10 times more polite and helpful than anyone I dealt with from Lyca) told me that he does not know how to activate my eSIM for me. I spent 3 days trying to get the eSIM to work, ruining my travel plans in Switzerland. I have no faith that the eSIM will ever work, as they have kept me on a meaningless hamster wheel for days, so I have instead finally requested a refund. The agents are useless, and multiple times ended the conversation without my consent, once actually ending the chat when I was waiting for a response from them. I will never deal with this company again. Do not waste your time. This has been the most aggravating experience I've had traveling in Europe by far.
Absolute disgrace.

I bought an esim online but was not able to register it despite many attempts. I provided all the requested information in the identification process but my registration got cancelled. I sent several emails trying to reach out to customer support without any replies. I am still not able to use the esim.

One star is being generous!
Recently lost my phone, so attempted to register an esim several times without success. Just keeps getting cancelled.
Customer support just keep telling me 'we don't deal with registration' and told me to get a physical sim from a shop. Did this, cost 10 CHF. Tried to register, just been cancelled again.
People lose their phones all the time, so it should be very easy to sort out.
Very disappointing.
