They say knowledge is power
They say knowledge is power. I'm here to tell you THEY are INCORRECT. HABITS are power. I knew all about whole food plant based eating, in fact I worked in a commercial kitchen that was whole food plant based and I was not healthy nor feeling good in my body. THIS program was what FINALLY clicked for me. LWP taught me how to formulate repeatable habits and how to construct simple, repeatable meals that took decision fatigue away. The food noise is greatly reduced after years of intermittent fasting, carnivore, vegan (which is usually horribly processed), low carb, over restricting, rapid weight loss plans like the "snake diet", meal replacement smoothies, HCG, meal plan after meal plan, premade/packaged foods, OMAD, "Eat Like a Bear", unfathomable recipe collecting, shelves and shelves of weight loss cook books, and I could go on and on. Everytime I would see friends they would actually jokingly ask "which weird diet are you on this time?" That's all settled down and I truly crave my simple meals and I am delighting in eating potatoes AGAIN with no guilt at all! I am enjoying feeling truly full after a mean and yet no heartburn, no sluggishness, no guilt, no shame. Just plain full and happy! I know I have FINALLY found what will actually work long term and I don't stress over how fast the weight comes off. I like to eat! REALLY eat and if that means the weight comes off a little more slowly I'm actually alright with that because there's no desire to binge... I'm just too full! The coaching has been great! No guilt no judgement just curiosity and super suggestions. It feels tremendously supportive knowing the people coaching have been in the same place and continue to grow in their journeys as well. I can't say enough great things about this program! It's doable for the long haul. I hate to say sustainable because that term has been used to describe everything these days. This is an actionable plan that does not require hours and hours of prep. This is a program that will heal your relationship with food, your body, the scale, the mirror, and life. There are still days I want to eat and eat and eat from who knows what trigger. And I do. But now it's on raw vegetables, fresh fruit and potatoes. At 66 years of age I've lost close to 30 lbs in around 5 months. I'm able to exercise again and physically do much more than 30lbs ago. And the system I've implemented is a lazy girl's food system. I have let go of all the fancy "vegan" recipes that take hours to make. Simplicity frees up the time I spent in my head working and reworking every little detail. There seems to be much more time now to really live. And THAT is the POWER of HABITS! Thank you LWP!
