Do not expect them to honour their quote
I feel it is important to warn others about this company's ethics (or lack of) so an informed decision can be made as to whether or not to request them to quote.

I accepted their WRITTEN quote for re-carpeting my flat.
However, when I went into the shop to book the date for the job, the company owner, Haseeb, decided not to honour the quote, saying I would have to pay an extra £350 if I wanted them to go ahead. He said the person who gave the quote had been covering for him while he was away on holiday. In my opinion, that is HIS problem, not mine and he should have honoured the quote. I am dismayed that a so-called professional company would behave in this underhanded way toward a customer.
I am now back at square one, having to go through the whole quote process again, made more difficult because I’ve previously turned down quotes from other local companies when accepting the written quote from Luxury Carpets & Flooring.
