Jacek & his team did a fantastic job of our wood flooring . The work was carried out with minimal disruption & when they had finished the rooms were left spotless they took away the old carpets that they had lifted for the new floor . I would highly recommend for all wood flooring works they are great tradesmen who take pride in their work .

Jac and his colleague were a delight to have in our home. The dates for the delivery of the flooring and the installation dates were met - not always the case at this time with Covid-19 isolations. They worked hard and kept disruption, dust and dirt to a minimum. They neatly cut the flooring and skirting boards to meet the dimensions in the room and thus we have a very neat and tidy installation. We are very pleased.

Our oak floor had been down for 15 years with a family of 6 wear and tear.
What a beautiful job its better than new .
The skirting boards were masked , the floors sanded and reoiled .

I can't fault the service or the result. They completed a bedroom, hall and stairs quickly and professionally. All the undercutting has been done well and its transformed the areas.

I can't fault the workmanship of Lumberjack, they did a flawless job of sanding the floor and applying Clear Osmo oil, they worked very hard and were tidy and professional. Also the price is very competitive. But I'm really unhappy with the colour of the floor - what was a lovely pale blonde Victorian pitch pine floor is now a dark, ugly orange like the inside of a sauna. Also the Osmo Oil is still drying 20 hours later (we were told it would be done in 12) so we've been considerably inconvenienced by not being able to use our kitchen for nearly 24 hours and there are now footprints in the finish because we assumed it would be dry by 12 hours, as they stated. Neither the colour or the dry time were discussed in advance - if the post-treatment colour was going to dramatically change I would have expected this to be mentioned, not left to the customer to research themselves, or worse - find out when it was too late. When I complained just now they said they could have easily applied a water-based finish that would have left the boards the same colour as they were if I'd said in advance, but they just expected me to know this! Clear Osmo Oil sounds to the non-expert like it would be just that - a clear coating that lets the wood colour show through. I'm deeply disappointed and really hope that they communicate better on the dry time and finished colour with future customers as everything else about this business is great. If you're using this company be sure to ask lots of questions before they start work to make sure you get what you want.

A great job done to restore our wooden floor. Men arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the job, leaving us with a beautifully restored floor.

Lumber Jack did a really excellent job restoring the oak floor in a bedroom, keeping the character of the floor which in a 16th Century House was essential but also bringing out the natural beauty of the wood. Thrilled with the results and would definitely recommend

Lumberjack proved thoroughly professional, conscientious and dependable from start to finish. Communication was particularly good at all stages. Jack provided good initial advice on our various options, from wooden flooring restoration to replacement. After deciding on restoration, Covid measures were in place throughout the work. Disruption was minimised and no dust was experienced, which was impressive considering that the floors in five rooms were sanded. The result is extremely high-quality - the flooring has been restored to its original beauty, it is ‘as good as new’. We have no hesitation in recommending the services of Lumberjack!
