Ver bad experience
Dear Sir/Madame,
We have already paid the amount of £160 to the locksmith, named Mike, who came for work, representing your company. The payment was made yesterday itself by cash to the locksmith (Mike). The locksmith drilled open the door and examined the lock so as to buy a new one. We agreed for that. Then he returend with a new lock after half an hour. But the lock that he bought was not the apt match for the latch. But still he made certain adjustments and somehow managed to fit it. Even then he promised that the problem is solved. But then today upon trying to open the door from inside, the latch got detached. Though we called many times and tried to explain it, he wouldnt admit his mistake.
It is very evident that anybody would understand that the lock that he bought was not matching the latch (which was his mistake), and now he says that we need to replace the latch as well (which is in perfect condition). The locksmith should have checked the latch before he bought the lock instead of trying to put the blame on the latch and get more money from the customer.
The lock is still not functioning though we paid £160 pounds. In this situation we request you either for a refund or a new lock that suits the latch ASAP. Please consider this as an emergency situation as we have to leave fhe door open all the time, which can be threat to our security.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Regards
Renjith Babu
Absolutely terrible business - do not use
Absolutely terrible locksmith. Ended up paying an arm and a leg for a badly installed lock.
Got locked out of my house and was fleeced by a locksmith. After not being able to gain entry to my house quickly, he had to remove the lock which I agreed to. After the lock had been taken off, the locksmith conveniently told me he only had a lock worth £140 without VAT in his van so he could either put this on or come back tomorrow with a cheaper lock but my house would not have a lock on overnight. Had to agree to that lock. In the end, he charged me £370 and the door doesn't even shut properly now.
Looked more onto their website and they are falsely advertising their trust pilot rating as being above 4*. Do not trust these people.
Do Not Fall For The Scam
Yup, I fell for it...
LS Tech Ltd
We managed to lock ourselves out because we accidentally left the keys in the back of the doors.
Operator promised there was no call out charge, that it was very likely that the door could be opened without drilling and if not. The job was going to cost £59 if a basic job - told 99% of the time it is a basic job.
I stated that I didn't want the lock damaged if it couldn't easily be opened - I would break the glass myself to get to the key is my thought (glass cheaper than full lock).
The guy that turned up 'Yannis', was in his own car (alarm bells), he tried to pick the lock for maybe 30 seconds and before I could say anything he had started drilling.
Too late now I thought to asked how long he thinks it would take, "won't be long" but I need to make sure I don't damage the handle.
Long story short, he destroyed the lock, the handle and made a mess.
I stopped him as he was going to put a new handle on and told him that I at no point asked for any of that or was given any costs or prices other than the initial £59 from the operator I booked with.
I now have to get a new lock and handle fitted tomorrow.
Once the door was open I asked how much and to my shock there were multiple elements, call out, gain entry cost and all with VAT which would have come to £268 - god knows how much it would have been with the new lock and handle fitted.
I demanded to talk to the management which is where more alarm bells started ringing and this is when Yannis told me he's just a contractor - after much too and fro I settled on £198 as I just wanted the guy gone - complete scam.
I'm just glad that I couldn't be intimidated into more, but I feel for anyone vulnerable that call out these cowboys.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE! Locked out and called up to ask for assistance. States clearly on Google no call out charge. Operator told me the same however it would be £59 plus VAT to assess the job. I have given 1 star because the guy who attended was polite and clearly embarrassed by the situation. He did not speak very good English and attended in what must be his own car (alarm bells). As I thought the snip on the door had dropped he informed me it would be £49 plus VAT to drill the lock which I agreed to. The whole time he was there he was sending phone messages to someone and taking pictures of my door. He did not gain entry as I subsequently discovered that the mortice lock had been put on and at that point he said it would be another £49 plus VAT to drill again. I sent him away after paying a total of £124 for nothing. When I did gain access he had damaged the door as he clearly was not a locksmith and he was obviously getting instructions on what to do over the phone. I would add pics on here if I could. I’ve emailed them and asked for my money back but heard nothing. Reporting to Trading Standards now. God help anyone vulnerable who would just let them carry on with the job which by the way would have been a further £49 plus VAT AND a replacement lock (between £70 - £100) no doubt plus VAT. The lock had already been produced and looked like it was far from new. This was also without the probable damage to the mortice/door. Absolutely shocking total scam! Please think VERY carefully before you dial their number!
I’ve learnt my lesson
I’ve learnt my lesson - read reviews before you choose. I called ls-locksmith this evening after locking the keys inside, the door locks automatically. Spoke to someone who advised it would be £59, ‘Klod’ arrived after 30 minutes, he tried to use a card to swipe the lock. Then pulled out a drill and said it would be £90 instead for this… he absolutely DESTROYS my handle for 25 minutes and finally gets in, realises a new handle would be needed (shock) and pulls out cheap looking handles out of his car, which wouldn’t even fit the original lock. He finishes his job, leaving dangerous metal screw shards all over my floor and quoted me £310…‘Klod’ was very unprofessional & laughed in my face when I refused to pay this, he removed his handles from the door, my original handles are too damaged to even be used temporarily for the night, sleeping very unsafe tonight, if they weren’t cowboys they’d probably care about that.

Please do not use this company it's extausion. They do not provide skilled tradesmen in the locksmith catagory. They provide cowboys with drills. Just use a trusted local locksmith. It will save you time and money. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Under no circumstances use this company. I was charged £352.80 for a new lock. A reputable locksmith would have quoted £80.00 for the work. The website advertises 'no call out charge' this is not true. The website also says a 'full 1 year warranty'. This is not true. The lock stopped working before six moths and nobody will come out look at it.

Mid-November we called out to repair the lock and my lord made it even worse. 2oth December and still waiting for them to sort or even get a callback. Next stop trading standards.
Avoid this company like the plague
Absolutely on no account, no matter how desperate you are, use this company. Came out quickly, charged £250 for a new lock 6 months ago which is now not working. They do not respond to emails or telephone calls and we are currently not able to secure our property.
A shambles; bunch of cowboys.
Avoid - alarming experience
Avoid! My wife phoned on behalf of vulnerable older person. Young man (and his "friend") attended, without proper tools. Destroyed a lock. Fitted another but only supplied one key. Demanded cash for all this (about £200 - included "callout charge" - their website says there is no callout charge). While the elderly householder was looking out the cash, the "friend" came into the house. They took some of the vulnerable householder's other keys.
Absolutely appalling company
Absolutely appalling company. Awful service, unsafe, wrecked my door, put in a faulty lock charged over the odds and refused to come and sort it . AVOID
Terrible
Terrible. Extremely expansive, £208 all in for call out, labour and one lock. Wanted two locks changing, but could only do one as the lock smith couldn’t get the other out of the door. We were told they would call back next day to sort it but never did and didn’t answer when we tried to call them. As the second lock still needed changing, we had to get another company out who removed the “impossible” lock in 5mins and changed it all for the same price as LS Tech’s call out charge!
DO NOT USE!!!

The don’t disclose call out rates on the phone and when their rep and completes the job. The disclose call out rate and the. Hourly rate and horridness lock charges.
Totally rip off
Dont use
No! No! No!
The lock in the back door snapped and in my rush to get it fixed I called the first company I saw online. Unfortunately it was this company who fixed the problem but the cost was outrageous. With further investigation the parts would have totaled no more than £80 including VAT. The job took no more than 1 hour. The final bill was £478.80. As so many have said in their reviews this company is in business to rip off customers. The Frenchman who did the work on my back door is a disgrace to his country for knowingly being involved in this operation.
Overpriced! Ripped off!!
Has been charged £154 for a euro cylinder changed. It’s too late! quotes I’ve got is not more than £80. OVER PRICE…. and I should have look and check their reviews first.😫
Rip off merchants do now use
I didn’t even want to give this company 1*. Absolutely appalled that they charged my daughter and son in law £400 to drill out a faulty lock and put a new gear box in. Originally they were going to charge £300 I phoned them and said this was a lot but too late he had started the work. In the end charged them £400 and not £300. Disgusting company that have taken advantage of a young couple who have just bought their own home. Stay away from this company. They are rip of merchants
