Love Honey is an online adult sex store: sex toys, lotions, lingerie, bondage stuff, scented things. British outfit. I had the recent misfortune of returning two stainless steel sex toys which I bought as gifts for a couple of my enamoratas. Love Honey has a 30 Day Returns Policy which states: "You have 30 days from the day of purchase to return items to us for your money back. Unopened, unused or unworn products that have packaging or tags intact are eligible for this type of return."
I returned the two items the day after I received them under the 30 Day Returns policy in good faith that the items were unopened, unused and unworn. Love Honey informed me that my items had been "opened" and therefore they could not accept them as returns for refund.
These items were not "opened" by me in any sense of the word "opened." I received the items nestled in a piece of satiny cloth which was inside a hinged box exactly as a piece of jewelry or watch is often displayed in a jewelry box. I lifted the top of one of the hinged boxes, picked up the item, realized how incredibly heavy it is for a sex toy, placed it back in the box and returned both items. These toys were sent back to Love Honey in exactly the state that they were sent to me, and most importantly, ready for sale.
Because Love Honey refused to take the items back means that they still belonged to me because I had purchased them. Why then weren't they returned to me? Let me repeat that, it's important. Why weren't they returned to me? I purchased them!
Instead, Love Honey sent me a gift card for the value of one of the toys under their 100 Day Pleasure Guarantee policy which allows customers to return a single USED item from an order.
Apparently Love Honey decides which of these two return policies to apply to your return. I'm not accusing Love Honey of running an intentional scam, but the way the system was applied to my purchases turns out to be pretty much the same thing. You've got Love Honey saying an item was opened when it wasn't. You've got Love Honey saying they can't take back items and then keeping them.... and presumably selling them again. And then they send you an undervalued gift card to shut you up.
Customer Beware. These people interpret everything for their own benefit and not their customers.
Love Honey is not on your side.

The fantasy universe that Love Honey dwells in only serves their own benefit at the expense of the customer. Their concept of what defines a product being opened is a broad one for Love Honey and again serves their interests. And they use the fact that these are intimate products to infer that any product placed in a customer's hand is somehow "opened" or used and not eligible for return. It's all very neat. But the fact remains that if you refuse to take back a returned product for whatever specious reason you might manufacturer you don't then get to keep the product. It doesn't matter if you resell it or throw it away. If you don't refund the amount of the purchase it is not then yours to resell or destroy. If, as in my case, you want to play this "you opened the product" game, the products I purchased from you remain my property and they should have been returned to me. But you didn't.
You choose the most unethical and customer unfriendly option hiding behind your ridiculous justifications. Cheating a customer by being clever with words is still cheating.

Quality of products, timeliness of transaction from purchase to delivery

I order a few items from them , never received a confirmation email, order number or shipping details , the order has been paid for. I’ve tried to contact them multiple times over the past 4 days and the stupid AI bot keeps telling me to give my email and name which I’ve done, and still no email, then it said it would get me in contact with a agent and you guessed it their are none available. I have no idea it I will receive my items. I absolutely don’t recommend purchasing from them

Products arrived timely and exactly as described.

The device didn’t feel good. Its sensations weren’t realistic and there wasn’t enough friction to maintain an erection. I selected the wrong product for me. Thanks to the gracious customer return policy, I was able to get a refund and upgraded to a more powerful tool. Hope to have better luck!
