I was extremely disappointed with this dress. The material is very cheap and poor quality, and the white stitching is clearly visible on the outside of what should have been a light yellow garment.

The colour is completely wrong — it is a bright banana yellow and looks nothing like the images shown on the website. It is misleading and not an accurate representation of the product.

To make matters worse, because the item was purchased in the sale, I was told I was not entitled to a refund, despite the dress being clearly not as described.

I would not recommend this product and would advise others to be cautious when ordering, especially during sales.

I placed my order almost two months ago and am yet to recieved it. It is clearly lost but I keep being told that they are talking to the courier! They don’t need to talk to the courier as my item is clearly lost and won’t give me a refund! Terrible company! Avoid!!!

Awful service - ordered 10.01.2026 - 4 dresses for my 2 teen girls who had a party the following Friday. Spent £120.00. The website says dispatch will be the next working day and delivery 1-5 working days. It is now 30.01.2026 and no sign of my order. I wish I had read the reviews first and I would never have ordered. I have emailed multiple times to be told they will give me a discount - I won't ever order again so that is pointless -the tracking history says the parcel has been shipped internationally and is damaged - but not delivered so I can't obtain a refund.

I emailed the company to return a dress as it was too big, but regardless the quality wasn't great and looked nothing like the picture they advertised. They said in the email back that in the policy they dont accept sale items to be returned even though the whole website is sale items.

Disgusting!! Doesn’t state that sale items you don’t get refunded they say it states in their returns policy but that isn’t clear to see when you pay! What a con!! Avoid avoid and not only is the shipping so long too.

Ordered 12th January so 2 weeks for delivery . The tracking information could be more clear as does not allow you to fully track . But other than that the dress was exactly like the photo , material was amazing and just how I thought it would be . Dress is beautiful sizing perfect . Overall 4 stars 🌟

Utter scam - ordered four what looked like beautiful dresses that were not cheap! They came are they were see through and literally a piece of cheap material - when I asked for I refund they said I purchased them within the sale which I don’t believe I did and that uk law states that they don’t have to offer a return for sale items!

Absolute scam and they block you on Facebook when you try to warn others.
Products look good on the website but turn up as utter Chinese rubbish, and is 100% not true to sizing.
You can’t return - even though the items of clothing are not as described or as seen on the website, unless you want less than 25% of your order value back. An absolute joke.

I ordered two dresses from Lou Lou Couture using Express Royal Mail Delivery, placed on 8th December, specifically for an event on the 19th December. Despite paying for express delivery, the parcel didn’t arrive until 10:40am on the day of the event, making it effectively useless and forcing me to buy an alternative outfit last minute.
When the dresses finally arrived, the quality was extremely poor and not as described on the website. The material is advertised as Rayon, but what arrived felt very cheap and nothing like Rayon. Both dresses were strapless with no boning, no internal structure, no silicone grip, and no proper support, making them unwearable. There was also no clear separation or structure in the bodice, so the fit was completely wrong.
Customer service was equally disappointing. Despite raising legitimate concerns about late delivery and faulty/misdescribed items, I was initially refused a refund outright due to a “sale policy”. After pushing back, I was offered only a 20% refund, which does not reflect the situation at all. Returning both dresses would cost almost as much as they’re worth, which feels entirely uneconomical.
Overall, this has been a frustrating experience with misleading product descriptions, poor quality items, delayed delivery, and unhelpful customer service. I would not recommend ordering from here, especially if you need something for a specific event or expect the product to match its description.

Do not purchase from this company - the item I brought is nothing like what is advertised - I got a bit of cloth instead of the lovely dress that is advertised and you can’t get a refund because of their refund policy - it says you can get a refund in store but conveniently the item when purchased comes from china

Misleading and disappointing experience. The company states under each item that returns are accepted, but conveniently hides in the small print that sale items are non-returnable. The problem? Every single item on the site is marked as a sale item, making returns effectively impossible.

This feels intentionally deceptive. The main product pages give the impression of a fair returns policy, while the reality is buried in fine print that most customers wouldn’t reasonably expect to override the advertised return statement. If you don’t accept returns, be honest and upfront about it.

I wouldn’t have purchased had the policy been clearly stated. Poor transparency, poor customer experience, and not a business practice I’d trust or recommend.
