When you are undergoing eye surgery given the complexity and nature of the process and all it entails to feel so positive and relaxed takes a special skill.
Expertise and understanding are paramount and to feel so comfortable and confident throughout the whole process is testament to her professionalism .

I had a wonderful experience with Ms. Amynah Goawalla for my eye surgery. From the very first consultation through the surgery and follow-up care, she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured. Everything was explained clearly and patiently, which really helped ease any anxiety I had.

i had an eye an operation to correct the lower lid ecpropion with graft/ flap on 27th July ,i am delighted with the result and my eye now feels normal again

One of those perfect consultations - professional and problem solving

Miss Goawalla have been looked after my eyes for over 3 years during this period she carried out six (6) successful procedures, for Cataract, Browlift and Blepharoplasty on my left and right eyes, at the BMI Hospital, Hendon. She was very polite, soft spoken and explained in detail each procedure. She leads by example, her supporting staff were equally polite and well trained. The follow up after the procedures were equally important important. I am very happy I carried out all the procedures with Miss Goawalla. I eyesight has improved greatly and i am also looking much better. She is excellent.

First contact was very rushed and quick. Minutes away from surgery. No time for questions.
Second contact was much more sedate and informative. Enough time for questions, if I had any.

Pleasant experience especially with it being to do with both eyes. All went well and Dr Goawalla is a fine surgeon.

Very good empathetic consultation. And the fact that the minor surgery was performed there and then was an added bonus. Very good experience indeed.

I was depressed expecting that I was going to have cataract surgery on both eyes which would deprive me of valuable research time. As the investigation proceeded, however, Dr Goawalla, more by tone of voice than the actual words, gave me increasing confidence that my eyes condition was nowhere near as bad as I had thought, and gradually to the realization that, although a slight impairment, nothing requiring immediate surgery was required. I became elated and even offered Dr Goawalla a square of chocolate bar which I had bought for lunch. I realized on the way home that one square of chocolate did not quite measure up to two comparatively healthy eyes. My apologies for that lapse of judgement

Dr Goawalla has a very positive attitude, allowing her patients to have total confidence in any surgical procedure she undertakes and treatments that she advices on.
She has throughout out me at ease , especially when I walked into the theatre.
I am due for the second cataract operation in a few days and have no worries or problems.

Very efficient system in every way, from arranging the appointment through reception, no waiting and everything explained at the consultation, tests taken quickly and further appointments arranged quickly.
