Will wait to see if they fix my delivery. Paid for 48 bags of charcoal. 43 on pallet.

So, update on this, Log Delivery are sending the 5 short bags.
Made my day, as I was not very happy being short changed.

Fantastic supplier. This was the first time of contacting this log supplier, I've had a log burner for many years and to be honest these logs were far superior quality than any others I've had before. Nethergong Logs are my go too supplier from now on, excellent price and first class service.

Sadly this company has gone down hill

The reviews from years ago reflect my experience but over the last year or so I have given them a few second chances and my latest experience is common ..

Spent £350 and heard nothing

After more than 2 weeks and chasing 3 times I received an email saying the courier would get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date

They didn’t.

Instead they dumped the wood in an insecure location when I wasn’t in to manage it - with no notice at all

Really disappointing - I hope to find my wood when I get home.

Expensive and wouldn't deliver anywhere accessible.

Item not received and seller not responding. Truly hopeless. Avoid.

I am sad to report that this has been a rather bruising experience. 1- no confirmation of purchase and no order number 2- logs turned up unannounced without an order slip 3- inundated with calls and emails from the delivery firm trying to make another delivery4. no contact from logs-delivery despite calls/ messages and online email request 4- a rude email from a person called Liam saying 'the cheek of some people' when I tried to cancel the second order that I had not placed. 5- no apology or compensation for the time wasted on this my myself and the logistics company trying to deliver this duplicate order. Overall, a total shambles- Find another supplier worthy of your cash!

I've been a log-delivery customer for about 5 years. Standards have been variable, but the latest delivery (our first for this season) was disappointing. Loads of tiny logs/kindling, and certainly not the 25cm described on the product description. I'm not expecting uniformity, but a minimum standard. I did email them, and was fobbed off. Disappointing.

I have been a Log-delivery customer for several years because they supply good locally sourced logs in a convenient package. However, their most recent delivery was bad. They proposed a delivery date that wasn't one of the three I chose and this was at less than a days notice. I was travelling and saw the e-mail too late to respond - I ignored it assuming no answer meant 'no'. Instead, they delivered it anyway and as we were away they left our 1.3m3 order right in front of our garage blocking both doors. There was loads of space where they could have left it including under cover. What if we had needed a car for an emergency? To make matters worse the following day we had an inch of rain. When I got home and stacked them the logs were soaked right the way down to the bottom of the bag. They are still too wet to burn a week later! Good though the product normally was I can't go back to them again after service like this. They couldn't even reply to my complaint so I suppose they don't really care anyway.

This is my 3rd experience with log-delivery.co.uk and again all I can say is that the service and quality of product is the best. This time I ordered 5 x 12kg bags of restaurant grade charcoal. Haven't seen anything else quite like it. What's even better is that I placed my order Wednesday late afternoon and received my order yet again Thursday lunchtime. However, I was delivered 1 bag short:(( Today is Friday mid afternoon and my missing bag turned up with another 1 so I received 6 bags in total and will be in touch with them to tell them that. It's only fair. This is an excellent company to deal with and their customer service is second to none.

Ordered this wood with high hopes for a new supplier. Supplied 3 dates (all day). they chose today between 7am and 10am. Got up early ready for delivery and no show, or telephone call to say they wouldn't be here. I had to leave after 10 for a hospital appointment and other things. I got home at 7.30pm to find the huge bag of wood on the street outside my house. It was sitting in the pouring rain and causing an obstruction on the pavement. I am amazed that it wasn't stolen. It was only there because it was so heavy. Not impressed one bit with this service.

I loaded up just before the last cold snap. Really impressed with the logs and they had loads of wood in stock - as compared to other suppliers. They couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely use them again.

Great, fast service and logs that burn well unlike others we’ve bought. Good comms too.

Have used Log-Delivery for a number of years now and have to say how great they are. I purchase their logs during the colder months and they burn nicely, giving off superb heat in my wood burner. Their charcoal is great and lasts such a long time on the BBQ. Their customer service is always helpful and trustworthy.

Flexible packages, flexible delivery slots includign weekends deliver to front path without my needing to somehow dismantle/dispose of a pallate as well, love the olive wood and birch combination.

Paid £80 for logs from Log Delivery, I am extremely disappointed and their response to my disappointment was just as upsetting. If you are looking for kiln dried logs and value for money I would suggest that you look elsewhere.

I made an order on a Friday and it was on my drive on the Monday...I live in South Devon!

The company themselves are very polite, very professional and have some great products. They also have a great delivery system/ courier who was also very polite and very helpful!

The delivery came on a large pallet, all wrapped up and intact. The goods themselves were for my Pizza Oven and I can highly recommend them. The beech briquettes are really very good for the oven when cooking, they burn hot, last longer compared to wood and give hardly any ash. I also like to use their olive wood for the actual Pizza cook and as usual, these are good quality if you want to be 'authentic'. The silver birch also comes in good sizes and is very good quality compared to many I have used. I also tried a box of natural fire lighters that reduced my 'light up' time to literally seconds!

I also use my Pizza Oven as an outdoor fire, so I also ordered the 'Coffee Logs'. These burn hot and also leave hardly any ash and I would recommend these for a normal fire/ wood stove...they actually dont smell like coffee when burnt! (I was a little drunk so may be mistaken!)

All in all, I would recommend Log-Delivery and will definitely be using them again and again! (I use my pizza oven all year round, not just for pizza!)

1/2 pallet of logs and fire lighters delivered on time. Delivery team stacked them very neatly just inside our property. Logs burn very well so a very happy customer. First time user and will definitely be ordering from here again.

I have used Log-Delivery for the last 4 years and I have never been let down. Quick and friendly service every time. When I've needed some quickly they have always been very accommodating. I will continue to buy my logs for my pizza oven from log-delivery as it is so hassle free.

Bought £100s worth of Beechwood 'logs' for pizza oven - stored outside but undercover so away from any wet weather - over half so far been eaten by animals and turned to saw dust ....no instruction to keep them in a hermetically sealed environment which seems ridiculous as logs normally stored outside but they are disintegrating before my eyes...may as well have set fire to £300...informed them but offered nothing to compensate - wont buy again and will go elsewhere

Appalling service. Logs delivered to the wrong place at the wrong time, no paperwork, logs just dumped in the early hours of the morning - despite giving them exact instructions. When I tried to contact them their admin email is not working either and they could not be contacted by phone. I'd avoid this company like the plague.
