****BUYER BEWARE******

****BUYER BEWARE******
Where do I start:
*On 3/18/26, I scheduled an appointment for an estimate with Master Air Ducts, which I was told would be free. I declined the service and was charged $49. When I asked for clarification I was told by the tech, "oh that's a trip charge". (Deceptive Business Practices).
*When I observed that the tech had shown up in what looked to be a personal truck. I asked him where his company truck logo was. He got sassy and said, oh I'm supposed to get a company logo on my truck? To which he smirked. Further more, there were no company uniform or name tags, or company lanyard ID, nothing immediate to indicate who he worked for. (Deceptive Company Practice).
*He quoted me a $700 estimate and then later changed it to $400.

*@1:40pm I called the Master Air Duct number @ 602-780-2602 and spoke to Sunny. I explained the charge that I received for $49 isn't what I had been told. I was told free estimate and there was never a mention of a trip charge (Bait and Switch scam). When I asked for a manager I was met with silence. That went on for about a minute. Then I asked if he was still there, he said yes. I then asked about the manager. He went silent again. At this point I again asked for a manager, again silence. There was silence for about three minutes. He advised me that there was no manager available. I asked him if he worked at a call center. He said no, that he was a company employee. (If he works for a call center... Deceptive Business Practice). He said he'd have a manager call me back. That was at 1:50pm. It is now 2:56pm. Still no manager call.

This is a fake company

This is a fake company. Last year, I wasn’t home, they came when my mom was there. They were fixated on us”being Jewish” bc they were also. They wanted a large sum of money, and they were paid. But they also wanted more money for different upgrades, which I said no to becuase something was wrong. Then, this year, we were having trouble with the air quality. We called one company Master Air Ducts” , but then the SAME man showed up with a small car, no business card, and no machinery. My mom said “ it’s the same guy as last year.” The man handling it for me, realized he knew nothing about “duct cleaning” and told him to leave. We were all present and saw this guy show up. We knew instantly they were scammy. He wanted 60 $ for being cancelled. No. Then, I called the “real Master Touch” and they did not have us on the schedule… at all. Today, Stanley Steemer did our air ducts and the ducts were not “done” last year. Who knows what “this guy did last year” but fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

All parts of the service from scheduling, technician extremely unprofessional trying to rip you off and push for other cleaning not even try to do the scheduled work and asking for fraud like payment process (invoice from a fraud company goes to spam email) and tips even before starting. As a matter of fact, its scarry to allow the guy inside your house.

ZERO STARS- RUN-DO NOT TRUST OR USE…

ZERO STARS- RUN-DO NOT TRUST OR USE THIS COMPANY! I will be filing a formal complaint with Washington State Office of the Attorney General on these bait and switch grift company's immediately. My sister who lives in Vancouver, WA. hired "Master Air Ducts HVAC and Air" after seeing a special for dryer vent cleaning for $79. (I learned that this company has no physical address just a call center) FYI-Her dryer is on outside wall of her home on ground floor so about 9-12" from laundry room to outside vent. They subcontracted the work to another company "Eco Quality Air" and their tech told her it would be $499. to do the work, she said no, then they said they would give her a 10% discount so $399 + tax. They took advantage of a retired person that is a full time care giver to her husband. Shame on these thiefs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Technician David (+1 (754) 581-7254) came out to do a free estimate for air duct cleaning. On the website it stated $99. He quoted $2049. I said no and he said the lowest he could go was $1100. As we were discussing it i found that he broke the arm that lowers the stairs to the attic and he denied it. The attic won’t close now! Told him that things happen but we still want to get it fixed and asked for his manager’s number. He refused and said he would call the mgr. Then he bolted outside like a guilty little man-child, got in his dirty white truck, and drove away. I ran outside and he drove right around me. Karma is going to get him and this company. When I called the office, Opal, said a manager would call me. I asked what number they would call, she said “we don’t have it” and hung up. What on earth. Make it make sense.

Called to set up a dryer vent cleaning

Called to set up a dryer vent cleaning, was quoted $80 and they said they could be out in two days. After multiple times rescheduling on me someone came out to the house on a Sunday. No marked car, no identification, no company card, letterhead or clothes. He looked at dryer vent inside never took dryer out from wall. Was outside cleaning vent for less than 5 minutes and said that would be $250! Then said that would cause a fire if we didn’t add a chemical cleaner for $310. He asked me to write a check to another company that he had a picture of a coat from on his phone. I looked up the other company and found out it was a scam. I quickly canceled the check! He said I would get a receipt if I gave him my email address, never received one. Zero stars!

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible! Read all the reviews! Two guys showed up in regular clothes in two separate cars, no decal of company or any work shirt on! Should have been my first red flag! After I said I wanted sanitation and cleaning the quote became another flag. He stepped out to call someone…. Came back and said $1269! Lmao I said oh no I’ll get other quotes just clean out all the vents. He proceeded to tell me to turn off the ac. He then attaches the equipment to ONE vent without shutting all the others and then 20 min keeps it turned on. Tells me if I call them back to come they will not come cause this is a one time deal. I called another company and told them what happened and was told they should have closed all vents and turned on ac for atleast 2 hours! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!

Horrible company with pathetic customer service

Horrible company with naive technicians and horrible customer service
I called Master air duct. They sent a technician from a different company caller eco quality air without even confirming with me.

The technician was unable to find the actual problem and had a very rude demeanor. He told that chimney motor is faulty and he will charge $2200 to replace it.

I wish I could give 0 stars

Stole my deposit

Serviceman came, said he could only clean dryer vent and not the air vents due to mold because it required socialized equipment. He asked me to schedule the treatment but in order to I had to put down a 25% deposit in addition to paying for the dryer vent cleaning. He then asked me to pay cash or Venmo in order to forgo the taxes.

He never returned on the agreed upon date and when I contacted the business Mali Molina who took my Venmo payment which read cost of dryer vent cleaning and deposit for mold treatment for 4 vents. She is claiming that they needed to charge me $220 for the 15 minutes on the dryer vent, when they didn’t even clean the hvac as was scheduled.

This company is committing tax fraud and ripping people off. I kindly asked them to return to my house to finish the service I had paid a deposit on and to complete it for the cost we had agreed to minus the deposit. She has since stopped responding. I will also be posting this to the bbb and irs.

Called on Monday because I needed two…

Called on Monday because I needed two cracks inside my gas fireplace to be caulked with heat resistant material that is a little bit above my knowledge.
Spoke to a very pleasant woman that said they could get someone out today between 12 and three which is Wednesday
Gentleman arrived in a minivan with a magnetized sticker on it no uniform after coming in and looking at the fire place, the two cracks on either side of the fireplace insert he said he had to make a call to the office. I explained that they had waved the $69 trip charge for me. He says he was aware of that comes back in the house to say it would be between $600 and $800. Now again granted I don’t know anything about fireplace inserts, but I can’t believe two beads of caulk would cost that much money. Needless to say I did not go with the company.

If I could give a negative zero I…

If I could give a negative zero I would. We called and made an appointment for the following week on Tuesday. Recieved a text not call stating that our appointment was canceled as our address is out of their service area. We scheduled time off work for this appointment. But more importantly, they had our address & never did their due diligence to tell where our home was. I received their number from a coworker, who live in a neighboring city about 8 minutes apart. There is NO mention of service area but they do say they service the area. Liars & frauds. Glad we found out ahead of time instead of wasting a day.

DO NOT HIRE THEM

DO NOT HIRE THEM. Like everyone else on here has said, they are scammers. We needed someone to come fix our gas fireplace because the pilot light won’t stay on. My wife saw their $79 deal and hired them. The tech came out lit the fire and said it was fixed then charged me $350 for it. After he left, the pilot went out after a few minutes. We called the office 3 times to schedule another appointment, they never did/ nobody ever called us. After calling a fourth time they finally sent someone out to fix it, same thing happened, they lit it said it was fixed and left, then the pilot went out. They won’t fix the problem and they are now refusing to refund us for services not rendered. SCAMMERS
