After umming and aah-ing over whether to try and move or go up into the loft because we were bursting at the seams, we are so glad we got Loftplan in to show us what could be possible with the loft space and how simple things like stair placement would work. The space we've gained is more than we hoped. From start to finish everyone involved with the project from Loftplan, their contractors and their recommended tradespeople have been excellent and considerate. It's not easy to do a big job like this when your client works from home most days, has 2 curious schoolboys under your feet and the property is away from the road with no rear access! The project has breathed new life into the house. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Loftplan has just finished a L-shaped dormer conversion adding two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom in Winchester.
The final result is really impressive! The attention to details is amazing; for example, they matched the new stair posts and spindles to the existing ones, resulting in a seamless transition between floors...it looks like the extension has always been part of this Edwardian terraced house.
The workmen were very capable, polite, friendly and helpful, they even washed their mugs at the end of the day! The neighbours commented on how polite they were, considerate in the noise they made and the language they used.
A special mention should go to the building team: Jordan, Barnaby, Warren and Lee, who dealt with the most physical part of the job, and were genuinely very nice people to have around.
The only note we have is the time it all took: we were advised it would take 12 weeks (with a bit of flexibility) and it ended up being 19 weeks, even though we made quick decisions on our side. The building part was very quick, but the second fix was much slower than expected. However, the communication throughout was very good (thank you Nicola from the office), and the final product is so outstanding (Mark the carpenter in particular was brilliant!) that we didn't mind too much.
Overall, we felt very confident in the skills of the whole team and we would recommend Loftplan.

Loftplan have been fantastic throughout the entire build. Everyone who works for the company has been polite, helpful and most importantly excellent at what they do. It is their expertise and craft that makes Loftplan so good. An example is the clever design of the stairs resulting in a beautiful and open first floor landing which does not feel cramp. The loft looks and feels like a natural extension of the house and they even tracked down our existing cladding so they could match it on the dormers. Loftplan worked with us and acted as a trusted partner throughout.

Great experience - a seamless system from start to finish. They knew exactly what should go where and listened to our ideas as well. Martin the carpenter and Jake the electrician deserve special mention.

We now have 2 extra bedrooms and a bathroom which has enhanced the house hugely.

The finishes were all of a high standard- which was brilliant.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Loftplan for all your help. The project was very smooth from the get go, and the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail is brilliant. All the workmen cleared up their mess at the end of every day thoroughly and even our neighbours commented on how polite and considerate Loftplan have been throughout the whole process. Their knowledge and speciality for loft conversions is second to none and I couldn’t recommend them more.

We are so happy with the end result, it is better than we could have imagined. Thanks once again!

Loftplan completed a loft conversion for us in May 2024 and we are extremely happy with the whole job. Throughout the process they listened to our requirements, were always responsive and clear in communication and did exactly what they said they would. Loftplan did a great job for us. It’s an old house and its particular problems were a real challenge installing the loft room. The design and planning team were endlessly helpful and all the trades were excellent. In particular, we really appreciated their friendly, informative engagement with us - they explained each step and progress made with clarity and honesty. They were punctual to a fault. I’d also like to mention the admin./accounts staff who were helpful throughout and responded promptly and clearly to our questions. A genuine five-star recommendation!

In response to the recent negative reviews, as a sole trader who has worked with loftplan for many years I’d like to clear a couple of things up. Loftplan are absolutely not a ‘scam company’ and are in fact a reputable company whose loyalty to clients and staff along with a quality and professional service is an absolute priority. The claims in recent reviews are a complete fabrication and a campaign of bullying to achieve their own goals.
Loftplan will continue to provide a 5 star service to all clients and the false allegations are actively being addressed.

So I’m reaching out to you both on here to address your smear campaign you have been waging against Loftplan, a company who Ive been proudly working with for 20 years.

Let’s check the facts shall we..

You placed a order for a Loft-conversion in August 2022 ( I actually built your neighbours in Lupin Ride 2 years ago which is where you got Loftplans details)

You signed an order / contract with terms and conditions that were clear.

You had the Architect and the 14 day cooling off period .

You were provided with full working plans and structural calculations and building regulations approval.

At the time you had some other building works and asked Loftplan to delay which they did , and you then delayed again.

You then asked to reduce the cost for fitting ground floor stairs, which we did but you shouted and screamed and swore at our salesman Alan that it wasn’t enough and placed a one star review on Google. Loftplan increased the reduction to appease you and you changed it to a 5 star review which you removed last week.

You then signed a new revised order form, with terms and conditions including the penalty for cancellation which was clear.

You delayed again and then in March claimed you had been offered a refund of all of your first interim payment!!

No company would let you out of a contract for nothing , try and cancel a 02 contract without a penalty..

Then you began your smear campaign on social media, despite the fact it was you who was rude to the office staff, to Nicola and targeted other employees social media accounts. Why don’t you publish your emails and let people see the truth .

You are not a honest people

Everything flowed like clockwork ,from our initial survey/design through to the loft build which was well managed. You can tell this company are loft specialists. They have experience by the bucket full.Two-dedicated,long serving site supervisors,Bob & Kevin, and well trained, knowledgeable build teams. Everything progressed smoothly with all trades organised and onsite when required.
The finished result is fantastic.We cannot praise Loftplan enough and encourage you to make the right choice and choose Loftplan to build your Loft!

Loftplan Designs have completed our second loft conversion for us and their service from start to end has been magnificent. Nicola has been outstanding with ensuring we had a clear schedule of works and helped clarify our questions efficiently. Bob and Kevin, the supervisors, were always available to not only ensure the work was on schedule, but completed to our satisfaction. Both really showed an interest in ensuring we were 100% happy at every stage. I have no hesitation in recommending this professional company to anybody looking for quality loft conversion.

The execution of the project was excellent. Their engineers are their own employees, and consequently dedicated and available to complete the job efficiently. Installed items were all great quality that you would use yourself. Even snagged and finished-off nicely when asked. Trust is required when kicking-off the project, and the many projects they complete each year provide confidence in having a great team of all-round engineers.

We had a Hip to gable and rear Dormer conversion to our home in Reading, that created two beautiful bedrooms and a convenient shower room for our twin daughters
We are beyond pleased with the results and the work from Loftplan.
The new space not only looks amazing but also provides much needed privacy and comfort for our girls. The team did an excellent job and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations.
I highly recommend this type of conversion for anyone looking to maximize space and add value to there home.

We recently said farewell to Loftplan, who have done an amazing job on our loft conversion. From beginning to end, they have kept us informed about what's going on and prepared us for each step. I can't praise the staff more highly, from the office staff, to the foremen, to the builders and fitters. All were friendly and helpful, and in particular the builders and fitters left everything so tidy. Most importantly, the final bill was pretty much what they said it would be - no hidden extras. We therefore have no hesitation in recommending Loftplan, highly.

We have just our loft conversion completed by LoftPlan and are really with our final room. They built us a new master bedroom with en-suite and it looks incredible. It was a very tight space, but LP were very accommodating in making sure that every inch was measured correctly. We were impressed with LoftPlan's no-nonsense approach to building the loft, lots of companies we spoke to had a glossy brochure with prices to match, but we found that LoftPlan were very simple to deal with, and didn't try and pressure us into features that we didn't need. Would definitely recommend them.

The experience with Loftplan was great from start to finish. We had spoken to a few builders about what we wanted, with very mixed result. With Loftplan it was simple, we'd never done anything like this previously and Alan very quickly recommended a layout that absolutely met our needs.
Every stage was handled with clear communication and the full turnkey approach from Loftplan made this so much easier than it could have been otherwise.
Everything is taken care of through these guys, the work was done to a really high standard with the different trades dovetailing well. As you'd expect there was the odd wait for someone to be ready to move onto the next stage but we always knew what was happening and all interactions with the different trades were always professional and friendly. They accommodated any requests and changes from us as we progressed and showed their experience in terms of the recommendations they made throughout.
We've since had an issue with a crack that developed in the velux glass (not Loftplan's fault!) but they have supplied and fitted a new sealed unit under warranty and dealt with Velux directly, so no hassle for us.
We're delighted with the new space, it's absolutely transformed our house, I'd highly recommend a loft conversion, and Loftplan :-)

From the very first consultation through to the final sign off the whole Loftplan team have been first class. Nothing is too much trouble and they offer sound advice to ensure the best outcome.

The cost was agreed and was delivered on budget despite a neighbour throwing a in spurious complaint to the Council. This was swiftly dealt with by the Lofplan team despite it ask being addressed to me as the home owner. The council changed their initial decision to one in favour of me and supported by the permitted development pack prepared and submitted by Loftplan approved by the Council

Loftplan are a 'turnkey' solution and the end product is way past my expectations.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

After getting 3 quotes to have our loft converted, we decided to go with Loftplan. They weren't the cheapest, but after the initial meeting with Alan, who listened to our requirements, we felt confident they would do a good job. Roll on a few months and we now have an amazing loft conversion that we are very happy with.
Loftplan took care of everything, and we were kept informed at every stage of the build. Any queries or questions were always answered promptly.
The teams and supervisors that worked on our loft were all very friendly and hard working. A special thanks to Martin the carpenter who is a master of his trade. His work and attention to details were outstanding. And of course, to Nicola in the office who was always helpful.

First off, we are over the moon with our loft conversion which has given us a lovely multi-purpose room for relaxing, exercising, and occasionally accommodating guests.
After a friend’s recommendation and getting quotes from similar companies, Loftplan came out on top with respect to professionalism and competitiveness in price.

The teams at Loftplan worked with us every step of the way, keeping us informed about the process and next steps.
They were friendly, respectful and completed work to a high standard.

In detail, Chris and Barney, who built the dormer, were super skilled, tidy and impressively fast.
Bob, our supervisor for the first part of the build, was brilliant in giving good advice and double-checking everything and so guaranteeing the outcome we had imagined.
A special thanks needs to go to Nicola at the office, who patiently dealt with any queries and made sure that the last stage including the snagging went smoothly.
Andy made sure our staircase was fitted with precision and speed. David did an amazing job fitting the banisters, doors and skirting boards, and Steve took thorough care of the roof works. From Adam, the plumber, to Ron, the electrician, everyone did their best to optimise the amazing space we have gained, and which we are now thoroughly enjoying.

The beauty of using Loftplan is having competent professionals coordinated under one roof.
