I had an excellent experience with Locauto Group. I rented a car for nine days during my vacation, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

The car was in very good condition, clean, and reliable throughout the rental period. The personnel were excellent—friendly, professional, and helpful.

I would definitely recommend Locauto Group and will gladly rent from them again when I return for another vacation.

The dent-policy is quite literally a joke. As well as how the employee when returning the car acted or handled the situation.

Easy access to front desk we were in advance for one and half hour we had to wait to pick up the car.
Easy to deliver back but I receive the confirmation paper of delivery still with open situation” if we find something we will make you pay “ . It does not make sense you make a careful inspection that’s it.

I am extremely disappointed with Locauto at Venice Airport.

After returning the rental car, I was charged €59.62 for allegedly missing fuel/refuelling, even though the car was returned with a full tank.

We filled the tank completely before returning the car and drove only about 12 km from the petrol station to the Locauto return point at Venice Airport.

I also have video evidence recorded immediately before returning the vehicle. The video clearly shows the fuel gauge indicating a full tank and the odometer at 15,174 km. Locauto’s return document shows 15,175 km — only 1 km more.

Despite all this, Locauto charged me €59.62 for fuel/refuelling.

I have contacted the company and I am formally disputing this charge. I can provide the video, fuel receipt and all supporting documents as evidence.

I strongly recommend that customers take detailed photos and videos of the fuel gauge, mileage and vehicle condition before returning a Locauto rental car.

I expect Locauto to investigate this properly and refund the unjustified €59.62 charge.

Great interaction via email. Flight was very late (2.5 hours) but we got a nice response "not to worry". The lady at the counter was really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded (new BMW instead of VW) very nice. One comment, car was diesel and we had to add "adblue" which I had no experience. It cost 30Euro to fill in gas station (which I will get back), later I found it cost less than 9 Euro in supermarket. Possibly better if you fill up adblue before the car goes out? Any further questions I sent via email were responded quickly and helpfully. I will certainly try to use your service again. Was good.

Good prices. No upselling. Additional driver on location required some queuing. Otherwise the the self check-in is very good.

High professionalism of the team. We took the car in Venice airport but needed to return it to Verona so the team met our request without any problems.

The staff were helpful and polite. It was easy to collect and return the hire car in a busy airport. Communication was prompt and easily understood.

The car was good on the road and the device was excellent. The company already had noted any older damage prior to giving me the car keys. The insurance coverage was full without any extra bank card deposit. The girl at the desk was very helpful and explanatory.

We picked the car up in Verona and dropped it off in Venice. We also got upgraded to a bigger car and everything was very smooth! Great service!

Helpful, unflappable staff. The queue was very long and many customers, including ourselves had to wait for over an hour to get our car.
Booking process was through Hays and very simple.
It would be helpful to have ore staff at the desk to make the process more seamless and efficient.
