Staff member on desk was very indifferent and pert.
I had no other problems. I purchased full insurance pack (highly recommended for non-italian drivers). Car was brand new and reliable. Luckily, I had no crashs or incidents, so I can't rate how the service in that case would function.
Booking process online was easy and intuitive.

Fast , noble , clean , professional!

Giving this 3 stars because of all the hidden fees Booking.com didn’t mention. Not mentioning I’d have to pay the young drivers fee at 24 years old which is ridiculous in the first place that someone thats had a license for 7 years is still considered a “young driver”. Then the insurance which Booking.com made it seem like I was buying from the rental itself, but instead it just being some booking.com insurance, and the actual Locauto insurance being 250 euros more.
I know that buying directly from the website is of course better, which I take the blame for. But the fact that Booking.com deliberately hides all these fees and doesn’t even mention them once is definately mad.
Was also told when I got there that the Fiat panda I had ordered was not available and only a big Peugeot van was possible. But after a firm no thank you and a short debate, a magical Fiat Panda was all of a sudden available for me…
This hassle aside, the staff was mostly nice and the car was good - Which is the bare minimum when renting a car.

Great experience! Easy pick-up and no stress with the drop-off. It's not one of those companies that charge you for some ghost scratches you didn't see when you got the car. As long as you don't dent the car, you're good to go. Very pleasant experience in dealing with the staff too.

I had a very positive experience with Locauto. The whole process was straightforward from start to finish. Everything worked exactly as promised, with clear communication and a smooth, well-organised system.

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and the automated check-in and return process made everything quick and easy without feeling impersonal. The car was exactly what I expected, and there were no surprises.

Very good and smooth experience! A modern cat with all features that were said to be. Descent instructions before, not to much not to little info. Shouldn't say perhaps, but due to heavy traffic in Palermo the last day we were 45 min late, but that was OK for the company - that's good service I would say! Also easy to rent by Booking.com, in our case.

Efficient checkout and check in with easy access at the airport. Rental employee was happy to answer my questions and set controls for me. They're happy with me checking it over start and finish. The car was new, comfortable and good to drive. This is the fifth or sixth time with Locauto and the third time I've had a new car - they seem to look after their fleet and replace regularly. I'm very happy to come back and use them again.

The man at the counter in the airport building behaved like an officer. Not very cooperative. A real off turn. All in all my renting exeperience was good. The men who handed over the car where very polite and cooperative! And explained everything. Very good!

Great staff, they were fast and friendly, I recommend them, also the return was smooth, Pietro was nice and the check was done before I was able to unload the luggage.

Because of a flat tyre, I couldn’t return the car. They immediately charged the maximum rate to my card, including all the insurance options. A very customer-unfriendly way of doing business!

Everything was perfect! We got an almost brand-new, clean car, and both the check-in and check-out processes were quick and smooth. We picked up the car at the airport and returned it in the city without any issues. Great experience - I would definitely recommend this company.
