First time renting w Locauto. Excellent experience. Car was brand new and in line with the car group that we booked (with other rental companies that has not always been the case). The guy who showed us to the car had excellent customer service skills. He explained everything to us very clearly. We checked car together for any existing damage. There were no hidden costs. Same guy was also at return and he greeted us and recognised us. This was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend Locauto. Efficient, high-quality car and great value for money.

We had a great experience. We drove an Opel with an automatic transmission and Android Auto; it drove great, the inspection for scratches and scuffs went smoothly, and we had no issues returning the car. The only thing that could have been better was having air conditioning vents for the back seat as well.

I rented a car at the Naples airport, and everything went smoothly. There was a nice young woman at the counter who explained everything to me. She didn’t pressure me into anything, and the whole process took just a few minutes. A shuttle bus took us to the parking lot, which we found right outside the airport in no time. Picking up the car was also very quick and easy. A colleague walked me through the entire car. He pointed out some minor scratches that were noted in the inspection report. Everything was handled correctly and fairly. Returning the car was also very quick. The young woman was nice, checked the entire car, and everything was done in a few minutes. I have to give the whole process high marks. If I were to come back, I would definitely rent a car from Locauto again. The value for money is excellent. Thanks a lot.

Friendly service, Nice car and fast & seamless pickup and return

I rented a car from Locauto for a period of 2 weeks in Naples. Since I wanted to add my 23-year-old son as an additional driver, I contacted Locauto in advance to ask whether this would be possible considering his age and the category of car I had selected (station wagon).

I called the Locauto office using the phone number provided on my voucher. The employee informed me that this would not be a problem and that the selected car model was also suitable.

However, when I arrived at the airport to pick up the car, I was told that my son was not allowed to drive this category of vehicle because of his age. We were therefore forced to choose a smaller car in which a “young driver” was permitted. We then had to travel with 5 people in this smaller vehicle for 2 weeks.

I specifically contacted Locauto in advance because I wanted to have a second driver available during my holiday. If I had received the correct information beforehand, I could have made a different choice. Unfortunately, no compensation was offered for the inconvenience or the change in service.

A disappointing experience, especially because I contacted Locauto beforehand precisely to avoid this kind of situation.

The company tried to give me the crappiest car without air conditioning (it was July in Naples) even though I booked a model with airco online. This happened not once but twice ! I only accepted the third car they gave me. The whole procedure took ages, I had to wait in the sun and endlessly lift my heavy luggage to place it in and out of three different cars. I really hope this is bad luck and not standard procedure for this company…
