I had the car for month but originally only rented for 2 weeks. They were also easy to contact, up front on pricing and flexible when I could come and pay. Staff were always helpful and nice to deal with.

The initial email with details of documentation & requirements needed by client were clear, emphasised and helpful for getting started.
The car spec itself was excellent and staff very helpful at pickup. It was in excellent condition and was a treat to drive.

Everything as agreed

This is, by far, the worst rental experience I've had in my life. I booked a rental for two days with a 1pm pick up on Thursday and a 1pm return on a Saturday. Upon pick-up, I asked the rental agent what I should do with the keys when returning the car to the Ravenna branch since that office closed at 12pm. She told me to simply leave the keys inside the box, which I did. Two days later, an additional charge of approximately $121 popped up on my credit card from Locauto. They told me that because the Ravenna branch closed at 12pm, and they didn't get the keys back until Monday morning I had to be charged two additional days according to their policy. I showed them photographic evidence of their car parked in front of their office that proved the car had been returned within the allotted time, but they insisted on charging me for an additional two days. Their customer service was awful to deal with and they basically told me, "too bad--we are following our policy." This was especially frustrating because I specifically asked their employee what their policy and did exactly as instructed. Additionally, from the initial rental agreement we had, they knew I was scheduled to return their car after 12pm.

All good, nice car

Second time I’ve used Locauto when hiring a car in Italy. Although a different location, it was the same as the first time, no issues. Pick up was very easy and staff very friendly. Drop off just as easy. No complaints and would happily use Locauto again! The car hire location at Genoa airport is very easy to find and get out of onto the main road.

Friendly, yet thorough staff. Easy to locate for pick-up and return just outside the terminal building. Not giving five stars because the car and particularly the windscreens were very dirty. The inside of the car had been cleaned, though.

Ouick and good service. Good advice when it came to where to fuel. Smooth returning.

Car we had hired had no key to be found! But we were upgraded and this car was good. Swift process otherwise. Checking back in was quick.

This rent was so easy and for a good price. The car we received was beautiful, so we enjoyed it all the way.

Quick and easy

I am renting cars every year for couple of times. The experience with Locauto has been really good from start to finish. It is worth paying a bit extra, to ensure you are dealing with an honest car rental dealer.
