There was a fee for the different drop…
There was a fee for the different drop off location…around 75 euros…but it was clear when I booked that we needed that!

Car was great , update location for the Milano linate airport .
Car was great, pick up and return went smoothly.
Only comment I have is - the directions to return the car at the airport were not correct, Google Maps directed us to the wrong place at the airport- make sure you search car rental return in Milano linate airport.

Moved the car return location with no notice.
The company charged extra hidden fees upon picking up the rental. They closed and relocated their car return at the Rome airport without any notice. I had gotten a print out from the company on how to return the car. They moved to a different garage and there was no note or anything directing you to the new location. This caused me to almost miss my flight.

Our policy is based on maximum transparency, and before the rental agreement is signed, we make sure to explain everything that is included and excluded from your package.
The one-way fee (for returning the vehicle to a different location) is also always communicated before the charge is made and is clearly listed on the broker's booking voucher under the extra costs to be paid at pick-up. We truly regret that you did not perceive the transparency we strive to provide to our customers.
Regarding the change in the vehicle return location, we understand the confusion you experienced. Unfortunately, these changes are beyond our control and are dictated by the airport management rather than our own company. We have taken note of your feedback and will discuss it with the relevant departments to improve our service.
We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back to one of our locations in the future.Chiara

Locauto charged us more for a 2cm…
Locauto charged us more for a 2cm barely visible dent, than the entire rental for the car.

Please note that costs of damages are fixed and do not change like price of the car rental. At the link https://portale.locautorent.com/doc/damage_rate.pdf you can find the damage repair fees.
Lastly, as we usually explain to our customers, purchasing damage coverage is a great way to protect yourself against unexpected costs and travel with confidence.
