Pay attention to the additional insurances
They told us to pay 90€ and Return the car with empty tank.
They Said 1 litre is 2€ and the car would have 50 litre tank , so it would be the best Option.
Unfortunately the cars tank was very Small and gas prices are NOT 2€.
Additional the wanted us to pay 300€ for extra insurance as usual.
The Return was easy and fast.

We would like to clarify that our Prepaid Fuel option is offered as a fixed-price service based on the vehicle's specific category, rather than the exact daily pump price or the precise tank capacity of an individual model.
This option is designed for convenience, allowing customers to return the vehicle empty without needing to find a gas station before their flight.
However, we sincerely apologize if this did not meet your expectations and your feedback will be share with our relevant department to improve our communication at the counter.

Unpleasant pressure to sell additional products Cagliari
I have used Locauto car rental several times in different destinations. It has always been absolutely correct and without any problems. At Cagliari airport, although I had paid for everything including comprehensive insurance, I was subjected to very unpleasant pressure at the counter by the employee Eleanora, who threatened me to buy additional products and how much I would have to pay if something happened. I was actually told that the insurance did not apply and Eleanora basically made me afraid to rent part of my holiday. Although I said several times that I did not want another product, she forced me to pay 35E for assistance. Next time I will consider choosing another rental company who will behave more correctly. Great service from a wonderful staff!
Locauto made it easy for our family to rent a nice car in northern Sardegne at Olbia airport, and return it to the Cagliari airport location after our week’s stay on this beautiful island. A very special thanks to the wonderful team at Cagliari, Alessandro and Francesca, who made it convenient to complete our return check in before our flight to Rome! Excellent service all around.

Everything went smoothly
Even though it takes some time to go through process to get the car, after that everything was smooth. Car of great quality and well maintained and extremely clean and reliable. Giving back the car was extremely efficient and very easy.

Everything went very smoothly
Everything went very smoothly, we got a very new car, also contacted Locauto because of possible flight delay and they assures that they will be aware of this and will be possible to pick up the car later if needed.
Staff member Francesca was very helful in terms of reviewing the car, what to be aware of in case of emergencies, so the pick up and drop off went smoothly. *We also did online check-in for the car, which may have also made processes faster.
