I found your service very efficient and friendly from arrival after my flight at the desk right through to the car return , when the car was quickly checked and passed .
I was shocked at the price quoted for a booster seat on arrival which I had forgot to pre-book with my broker. €64 for a booster child seat for a week I think is extortionate, I could purchase one in a store for much less than half that price. That was the only negative. (But I didn’t go with that option in the end so was all good for me.

I rented an SUV for 10 days. I got a low-mileage 2026 Peugeot 3006. Everything was great—friendly service, and a smooth pickup and drop-off process. It was my first time renting a car without a security deposit. I definitely recommend it.

DECEITFUL COMMERCIAL PRACTICES, DOCUMENTATION MANIPULATION AND SYSTEMIC REFUND DELAYS BY LOCAUTO RENT S.P.A. (CASE ID: CS 319482)I officially cancelled my booking on July 27th, 2026, and received a formal confirmation email from Locauto. After weeks of fruitlessly waiting for my refund, I contacted their agent via live chat on August 6th. I was absolutely shocked by their dishonesty – the internal system database entries (Log ID 794262) explicitly confirmed my cancellation was valid, yet their customer care fabricated false statements to stall the process. This is a deliberate delay tactic and an unacceptable commercial practice.Because Locauto illegally withheld my prepayment of EUR 602.26 for 25 days (until August 21st), I was stripped of my financial liquidity. This directly forced the przymusowe cancellation of my long-awaited family holiday reservation (No. 6346126934) at the 5-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Zakopane, which was planned as a special gift for my father. The moral and material damages caused to my family are catastrophic.The case has been formally reported to the European Consumer Centre (ECC Case No. 92040) and the Italian Transport Regulation Authority (ART), where it has been registered under official government case numbers Prot.N.0060942/2026 and RIF.0060897/2026. A formal file is also prepared for the antitrust authority AGCM. I remain open to an out-of-court amicable settlement only if Locauto’s management decides to promptly process the statutory compensation of EUR 2,000.00 for the ruined vacation. Until then, I officially warn all international travelers: avoid Locauto Rent at all costs if you value your money and peace of mind! Filip
