What a wonderful experience! Charles was informative and personable while offering support through the whole process and in just 1 month we were signing the closing for a refinanced mortgage. I am excited to have met my goal of lowering our interest rate and lowering monthly mortgage payment through Loanflight!

LoanFlight offered 10 yrs re-fi for 1.75%, $0 cost on Saturday 9/25/2021. I submitted a request, a loan officer contacted me and confirmed the rate and the cost. I submitted application and all the required documents (paystubs, tax returns, w2, bank statements, signed SSA form) and esigned initial disclosures.

Here comes a Monday and he says that rate was not available since it was presented on weekend when market was close. Where did he get that confident when we discussed and he presented the rate on the weekend?

I felt so stupid with LoanFlight. Be careful of this situation with LoanFlight.

Second time I refinanced with LoanFlight and once again service from beginning to end was excellent. LoanFlight will work with you to get the loan you want at the best rate. Staff was easy to work with. Thank you!

This has been the best mortgage transaction experience I’ve ever had by a good margin. David Nicholas was wonderful to work with. Everyone on the Loanflight team was extremely helpful and responsive. I called in multiple times, and they almost always picked up. No chasing people down. No delays. No mysteries around the rate I got. No issues with docs. No problems at all. I have done three transactions with LoanFlight. Each time the team gave a competitive rate, worked quickly, and was responsive throughout the process.

I was promised a loan rate and when I was out of country my rate lock was expiring. I asked if they could extend it till my return and they said yes but did NOT tell me it would cost me! Instead of honoring rate they have offered new pricing that everyone can get - never acknowledged what their manager had promised

I was very impressed with LoanFlight’s lending team! They worked hard to get my loan closed on time. They were prompt to respond to inquiries I had regarding the status of my refinance, answering all questions within a day or two of me reaching out to them (normally replying within an hour or two!).

They did ask for LOTS of documentation. More than any other purchase or refinance loan I’ve done. But it just means their underwriting team is thorough!

Awesome experience all the way around from start to finish. The process was seemless!

Bad service, After 30 days they asked me to pay additional $2800 to refi with same terms. After locking the rate and providing all my documents, loanflight team took about 10 days just to review my info and start the process, at the end, two days before the expiration of rate lock they said that my HELOC had to be close before approving the loan, once done, they took additional days just to confirm was close. All in all, because they slow response 10 days went by and they came back telling me the rate is not longer available and have to pay additional $2800 to keep the same deal.

People at LoanFlight were very kind and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the time took to finish the process. Took me about 45 days to close. Thought it was a bit long.

During the loan application process I was asked to provide my bank account and passwords. I spoke with the loan officer and explained that I would not be willing to provide anyone my bank passwords that I would be willing to provide bank statements. He informed me that this would not be a problem. I got a subsequent call from his assistant stating that my loan application was not complete. I explained that I had discussed this with the original loan officer. He said that this would not be a problem. I received yet a third call from another loan officer I was again explained the situation. He became quite cruel stating "you don't trust us". At that point I informed him that he was correct I don't trust and do not wish to do business with them. I continue to receive phone calls and emails.

Overall, comparing to one Costco Mortgages partner, the experience was better, the turnaround was quicker, the rate was lower, the closing costs were the same and the valuation was fair.

I attempted one ReFi 1 month before (thourgh Costco Mortgages) and my experience at LoanFight was vastly better. Although my credit score dropped slightly due to inquires I got a 0.275 % point better rate. the closing costs were the same as guaranteed by Costco Mortgages. I did not finalize the previous attempt because they significantly undervalued my property (by 15%). LoanFight used an appraisal service that provided the results similar to my neighbors valuations - in the middle of the price range by most estimates.

The only odd moment was when I had to explain what Im going to do with the money I get through ReFi. This never came up with Costco Mortgages. Still, I provide 5 stars as the experience was better than the benchmark (Costco's provider).

**Need to have a Back-up Plan**

I was provided a Loan Estimate AFTER they have run my credit scores and was being asked to do a rate lock and to provide my initial documents and e-sign authorizations. I complied with all of the request immediately (within 2 -4 hours time frame) only to be told that they would NOT offer the Loan Estimate provided to me after running my credit. Why would you provide a Loan Estimate after running my credit and not offer it after? Typical satire story of click and bait. Not a good business practice.

everything except the closing was done online. only two reasons for 4 starts instead of 5: It took a bit longer than I expected to fund and their system sends out automated reminder emails telling you to log into their portal to upload some information, but when you log in, there's nothing for you to do.
