Discover the side of Rome that most tourists don't get to see! We take you in small groups through the hidden gems of Rome. We love telling you the stories behind things and answering all your questions. The way we tell stories made us the biggest community on the hidden gems of Rome, with over 730,000 social followers.
This walking tour is unique in that you do visit an original water storage area for this part of Rome, underground. Our guide, Federica, was excellent in delivering the history of buildings, the area and the water supply and she pointed out so many little features in the buildings themselves that were amazing! Her knowledge was extensive and she delivered it all with enthusiasm and energy. The underground part of the tour has only recently been excavated, and because of its size has restrictions in the number of visitors allowed, so it really is something very special to do.

Amazing experience, the guide Sabrina was very informative, knowledgeable and super friendly.

Federica is full of enthusiasm. She combines both the historic elements with wonderful stories that make the tour memorable. She makes the monuments come alive by focusing on the human element. Her English is also very clear and that is very important to people who don't speak English as their native language. I highly recommend the kind of tours she offers - those off-the-beaten-path places that make any city your visit part of you.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We learned a lot about Roman local history.

We did two tours with this company. Both were amazing. We had two different guides and were thrilled with both. They were knowledgeable and shared quirky little facts that you don’t normally get on a tour. Our one tour only had four people and the other had six. We felt like we were being shown around by a friend.

The guide was knowledgeable and interactive with our group. He did not rush us and took questions as they arose. Our guide made this experience very interesting and enjoyable.

Fredrica was very knowledgeable and took us to locations we would never have known about and told us interesting stories about them. The big surprise was the Raffaello fresco and Carravaggio painting inside Basilica S. Antonio. We particularly enjoyed going to the stadio below Piazza Navona.

I learnt so much on this tour about the history and stories of the district. Great being in a small group of people and it wasn’t rushed there was plenty of time for questions and photos.

This tour is next level! Don’t miss this one or any of those with this company; true hidden gems that one can’t just stumble upon. History woven into relatable, wonderful stories. Our guide, Frederica’s enthusiasm and sense of humour was infectious and we left with knowledge that can be incorporated in our own explorations.

Our guide was very personable and, of course his knowledge of Trastevere was fantastic

Yet again another fantastic tour. This is our 3rd now with LVG and this was equally as good as the other. Really go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. Great instructions to get there and this food tour is real authentic and away from the tourist areas. Had food we would never have tried and got to see a typical daily food experience. Would highly recommend.

I totally recommend her tours, you will see a completely different part of Rome If I could I will do every tour that she offers

Was a great tour filled with a natural conversation while stuffing it with history. The only regret I have is not booking more tours

Our guide was very friendly, informative, answered all of our questions and was very polite and respectful to the staff of the department stores we needed to walk through to access some of the sites. I learned alot about the aqueduct system from the diagrams and photos she showed us from her book as well as videos she had on her phone of excavation sites the general public weren't allowed to access. She pointed out important doors and aqueducts that were in plain sight that I would've not noticed or appreciated had it not been explained to me. Actually going underground to see where the water came up was so interesting and seeing the artifacts that had been excavated from the site was very unique for a tour. I'm SO glad I took this tour and would definitely take more of their tours if I was staying longer in Rome. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Live Virtual Guide tours are so much better than the rest. The groups are smaller and the guides really understand what they’re talking about. If you have limited time in Rome, don’t waste any of it on a different tour operator that just reads from Wikipedia. Sabrina was my guide for my first tour and she was great.
My second tour was truly amazing. Federico has an encyclopedic knowledge of Rome. Other guides do too, but Federica’s enthusiasm sets her apart. It’s obvious she loves what she does. She really brings to life these hidden gems of Rome.

Federica was knowledgeable and engaging with her historical story telling about the sights visited during the tour. She was fun and added drama and anticipation, by incrementally, providing information about historical sequences. We discovered gems, we would have unlikely found, independently. Fantastic small group and personable. A must if you want to experience a non touristic tour in Rome!!!!

The tour guide was terrific, insightful, lots of details & answered all questions.
She was Fabulous & we were fully engaged.
Silvia was Wonderful.

Sabrina our guide masters the art of story telling which makes it very nice to tour with her in the city. Off course she also has a lot of knowledge of the sites and the art being visited. You will feel involved the whole tour.
I was maybe at first a bit skeptical, as I had never booked something I saw on Instagram, but I couldn't be more happier to have ordered it.
We enjoyed our tour that much that we booked another one right after ;-)

Sabrina is a very knowledgable tour guide who took us to a number of places in the Trastevere & the Jewish Ghetto that we would never have found ourselves. Our small group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed her presentation of each site & Sabrina kept us totally engaged for 21/2 hour. I would highly recommend this tour to first time visitors & even to those who have been to Rome before. This is not a typical tour of Rome, but one that takes in the less familiar but ever so beautiful & interesting hidden gems of the Eternal City.
