We got shown things we would never have found on our own. I particularly was moved by the plaques commemorating the Jews who were taken to camps and died.

Federica was knowledgeable and a true admirer of history. Her stories made the information come to life and made for a trip back in history.

Valentina was excellent! She was knowledgeable and kept the pace up, while finding us places in the shade to see the views - important when it is scorching hot in Rome. Her mastery of architecture, art, history and religion made the colosseum come alive.

A fascinating and fun tour with a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. She showed me aspects of Rome I never knew about. We focussed on a few key sites and had time to enjoy them all. The finale was an amazing tour of the ancient Roman stadium under Piazza Navona. I highly recommend this tour. Really good value for money.

Such a great , enthusiastic tour that was both fun and educational. Frederica is so knowledgeable and personable that the time goes by quickly. I highly recommend her tours when your in Rome. We are already planning on returning in December

We had the BEST guide (Sabrina? I’m sorry, my memory for names is awful). She was full of infectious enthusiasm and was very knowledgeable about everything we were shown. The title of the tour is 100% accurate - these ARE hidden gems that it wouldn’t have occurred to us to look into. We loved that we were a small group and didn’t need to follow a flag or look bewildered while listening on an ear piece.

One of the hardest parts of Rome is seeing ruins on every street and not knowing that they are. No more with Live Virtual Guide. Every tour we have taken with them, we have felt like we understand context and lots of interesting stories and facts that make what we are seeing come alive. We have taken other tours with other groups in Rome...this is by far the best.

Our guide was all thumbs up without a doubt!!!! I wish I would’ve written her name down (I will slaughter it if I try to spell it) But from the moment she walked up, she was all smiles, she had a great sense of humor. When describing the stories, she put so much character into them that it was not only informative, but entertaining. Along the way she told us a lot of history from around the Rome. It was a delightful evening.

It was a perfect tour - not a typical tourist one. You really get to know local business. The markets, the streets not stuffed with tourists - get to know local businesses. Amazing food, very good tips where to go and where you can pass when you are searching for good food. And the ice cream at the end made the tour perfect. Last and decently not least - we hat a super guide that made our even rainy tour a great one ! Grazie mille!
