Liquor Stars knows how to take care of their customers. My scotch was packaged like a gift—secure, stylish, and totally protected. The bottle itself? Top-tier. Smooth, peaty, and exactly what I was hoping for. This is the kind of service that keeps me coming back.

Online-only shop. Five-star rated elsewhere, and it is unclear why. Anything they show in-stock really isn’t, but they are good at selling it. It took two months and many angry calls to get my stuff. Bogus shipping dates and contents. Packaged poorly. A number of items ordered ended up refunded cause they didn’t have and could not even find. All the bad things listed in reviews below, I experienced to be true. And they refuse to cancel orders. Arrogant, Awful business practices.

DONOT BUY FROM THIS GUY! I have never written a review about anything before, but feel compelled to write this. I paid for expedited processing so I could get a requested bottle of bourbon for my son-in-law for Christmas. It did not make it by Christmas so on the 27th I emailed him to keep the bourbon and just refund my money. Not only did he not do that....he shipped it on Dec 31st with no Adult Signature Required so that I could not refuse the package. I only wish I could give him 0 stars...1 is too generous!

Total scam. Been waiting for my order for almost two months. Got a text two weeks ago sayin it will ship in three days. No tracking info, and no...it didn't ship. I just escaladed a fraud claim with PayPal and my credit card. These douchbags are just scum flippers that wait in line at local stores to gobble up inventory to flip. They are selling inventory that they don't have. They don't respond to emails. I called their "customer service number" and got a recording saying they are currently not monitoring their customer service phone number. Run away from these thieves.

Submitted an order a month ago.
A week after submitting the order I received a text message from a guy that claimed he'd deliver the order on Monday. I assumed he meant the coming Monday (3 days later). I replied enthusiastically thanking him for the update (you can reply to the text message). 3 days after Monday I replied again to the same text message asking for clues. They replied with a UPS tracking number that has been showing the same response for 3 weeks now : "UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package."

I wrote an email replying to the address that sent me the confirmation order explaining that I want to cancel my order and want a refund.

I'll update this review in a few weeks.
So far I'd recommend not to order from this company.

I have ordered from this company multiple times and I will continue to do so. The customer service is great and quickly responsive. My order always comes in really fast and always packaged really well to make sure the bottles stay in perfect condition. I would definitely purchase from Liquor Stars!

This is the best store I’ve ever ordered from! The fastest delivery time and the liquor is real! Love the name liquor stars too…keep up the great work.

I ordered/purchased an item and then I emailed Liquorstars to get more information. They responded immediately with a response. Then, I immediately again reached out via email to cancel order, less then an hour after making the initial order, and they did not respond. I emailed 3 times over a 24 hour period and they still did not respond. I notified the 3rd party platform, facilitating the order, and they stated they would dispute the order. A few days later the delivery company sent notice the product was on its way. I am still waiting to see what will happen but this company is not ethical and underhanded. I will never deal with them again. Buyer beware!!!

I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with Liquor Stars. My experience with order #23902 has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. After placing my order over a week ago, I was repeatedly promised shipping updates that never materialized. Every time I followed up, I was met with vague assurances and outright falsehoods about when my order would ship.

Finally, after much frustration, my order was canceled without so much as a proper explanation or an attempt to make things right. The dismissive tone in their communication—'We already canceled your order. Have a good day.'—is beyond unprofessional and frankly insulting. I’m left wondering if this is even a legitimate business or just a scam operation preying on customers.

This level of disrespect and disregard for paying customers is unacceptable. Buyer beware—this company is the epitome of bad service, and I would never trust them with my business again.

I am a long time client who will be the first to admit that they are not always the fastest in terms of delivery, but their prices are great and it all eventually gets there. You just need to be a bit more patient with them given their size and pricing. Everything I have ever ordered has been delivered.

Horrible, do not buy from them. Ordered a bottle of expensive bourbon and it’s gonna take almost 19 days to arrive. They didn’t even ship it for over a week.

Waste of money

They don’t respond to the info email. They ripped me off! I bought 3 bottles of Eagle Rare and 3 Blanton’s. They shipped me 3 Eagle Rare and 3 Buffalo Trace. Zero response despite multiple attempts to contact. Scam!

I placed an order 10/26/2024. It is 12/28/2024 and I have yet to receive it. I have messaged them and emailed them and I get nothing in return. I requested a full refund so I will see if I get any response from them on that. Guess the attorney general will be hearing from me on this company as will my credit card company.

Zero stars!! Run don’t walk to a different online liquor store!! They never send your order after they tell you they are shipping it. It’s been several weeks with nothing….Total scam!! Avoid this place as you will thank yourself later!

This company is terrible. Their customer service is ridiculous as well. They don’t ship out in a timely manner when you try to contact them there’s no way to reach them by telephone because their customer service number is down and they lie and tell you that they’re going to ship something and they don’t. I would never recommend ordering from this company ever again. I know I certainly will not.

I should have listened to all the negative reviews about this company. It's a total scam, and undoubtedly an interstate criminal organization. I ordered a case of various bourbons, after numerous emails and unanswered calls to them a shipment finally arrived after many weeks with zero response. To no surprise 4 bottles of Buffalo Trace was missing. I then again started emailing providing all information. Finally after two weeks I received an email just stating it shipped the day before. No shipping number nor FedEx number provided. I again emailed them numerous times stating if it had been shipped to provide the new shipment number and why FedEx had yet to advise a shipment number from them and expected arrival date. Again I get no response. I'm notifying not only by credit card company of the fraud, but also the California ABC, the California Attorney Geberals Office, and the Federal FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection. This company needs to be investigated and shut down fraudulent interstate trade, with the principles indicted.

What an awful experience. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They don't ship the orders complete, they don't respond to emails, they don't answer their phones. Trust me on this one!

If I could give (-) Stars I would. Total scammers! Avoid at all cost. I Ordered~~$600 of bourbon. It Never shipped. Been little, to No, communication from them. I finally Requested full refund via email; made several requests and inquiries to status. After more than two weeks, I’ve got no order, no tracking, no refund, no communication from LS. I’ll be turning this over to AMEX.

Bought two orders from them totaling over $5,000 usd. First order I had to email several
times about when the entire first order will be sent. A week later I was told via email from Noel / Liquor Stars that 3 tracking numbers would be sent to me but I only got 2 tracking numbers from L.S Shipping Wharehouse when they were preparing to ship, never from Liquor Stars or Noel. I assumed L.S Shipping is their distributor. Regarding this first order,
5 bottles placed, one was conveniently cancelled and refunded for the original price bought ($1050) while Liquor Stars website shows multiple same bottle available for $300 higher. Back to the first order, of the two tracking numbers I received from their distributor, L.S Shipping Wharehouse, I only received 1 bottle per tracking number. So out of 5 bottles ordered I only received 2, 2 were
missing, and one was cancelled by Liquor Stars a week after ordered and now priced $300 higher.

Regarding the second order I got one bottle but no box. I emailed them several times about the missing box but no answer. I asked the for the second order to be cancelled. Only after I threatened to dispute with my credit card did I get text and a phone call from Brandon. He was unprofessional and lack candor. He conveniently informed me the second bottle from my second order was being shipped as we spoke but said they were out of boxes for the hibiki 12 that I received without a box from the second order; though on their website they still have the hibiki 12 advertised and selling as of this review (9 bottles available with box) for $569.90.

When I inquired about my first order, he asked me which bottles I was missing. After telling him i am still missing 2 bottles from my first order he said they were all sent. He conveniently sent me a third tracking number for the first order that was supposedly sent on 10/24 and delivered on 10/30 though I never received it. This tracking was never sent to me prior to informing them of my intent to dispute. Brandon was the same guy that sent me a text on 10/27/24 soon after I made my second order from Liquor Stars offering to sell me a Yamazaki 25 for $8,700 outside of their website.

I would never buy from this company again. Keeping up with your order is painful and if you don’t they will sit on your order for weeks to months. Then when they ship your order it’s always partial fulfillment. But pay careful attention when the tracking is provided by their distributor, L.S Shipping Wharehouse. The tracking will show more bottles are being shipped then were shipped. Luckily I recorded all by orders from everyone from package delivered to opening as to protect my end. And don’t believe anything Brandon or Noel or anyome from liquor stores via email, text, or phone. They lie like politicians but are rude as heck when confronted with facts. Especially that fella Brandon, he is like the ex-wife from
hell.

Stole my money. Never shipped products.
