Really personalized care my therapist excellent the work really helps you address core issues and behaviors excellent support
Without a doubt!!
Without a doubt, Lion Rock was the most useful and best choice I've ever made for my recovery. I've been to 3 inpatient and 3 outpatient programs. Honestly without hesitation Lion Rock was the biggest push forward that I've experienced. When I was first starting to register and was told the actual time this could take, I was really put off. I gave it a shot and was actually having a good time with my group. This is the first time I was actually required to do homework, I really hate homework, but it really opens up a whole lot of stuff about yourself that you didn't realize was underlying in you and creating more problems than need be. My personal consoler was truly amazing. He figured me out and worked with me to gradually make me understand what my issues were and how to deal with and work through them. And at the end of it all, realize that my addiction was a terrible crutch that only caused more injury. I cannot say enough to make a person take the step to Lion Rock, I can only say that this probably saved my life.
Lionrock saved my life.
Lionrock saved my life and marriage. The staff is professional and well versed in many types of behavioral therapy. Talking and sharing in my group and with my personal therapist was the key to regaining my life. You can do it too!
When I made the decision to seek help
When I made the decision to seek help, Lionrock listened to my needs and directed me to the professionals that can assist me best. I felt very comfortable and secure starting my journey in recovery.
I can speak to the entire process
I can speak to the entire process, from the first phone call in early May, 2022, through to my final group session on December 29th, 2022. From the folks I worked with once or twice, through to my individual therapist throughout, Lionrock Recovery is a welcoming, mindful, respectful and very much on the ball, as they guided me through the start of my ongoing recovery.

Lionrock was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from addiction. They were very supportive with aftercare and they had a wonderful knowledgeable staff!!
Great staff and curriculum
Great staff and curriculum. Very educational and thoughtful. I wouldn't be where I am in recovery without this program.
If you believe you can accomplish anything
Well today I'm 711 clean & sober with not one relapse to date. Lion Rock was a very big party of all my recovery journey along with both my therapist. Without their knowledge and guidance my dream of being sober would never have happened period. My group was very supportive and help me in so many ways to understand why i was going through the pain and suffering of alcoholism.
If it wasn't for Lionrock I'd be dead…
If it wasn't for Lionrock I'd be dead right now. I had tried AA and failed in glorious fashion over and over again. It was only through learning the science of addiction and what makes it happen that I was equipped to tackle it on my terms. I'm two years sober today with no relapses and I made that Doctor who had told me to put my affairs in order tell me that I'm able to live a normal and healthy life now. Lionrock made this possible.
Life changing
Life changing. Started out just wanting to heal from addiction. Ended up healing from the inside out. Mentally, physically, spiritually stronger. Highly recommend if you're ready to make the change.
Alcohol Addiction
Outside of my initial treatment for my addiction, Lionrock provided me with a needed place and structure to continue my recovery. I am 472 days sober today and that would not have been possible without the help and support of everyone at Lionrock.
Lionrock was the Best!
Lionrock was great! My individual counselor, Kim, is very straight forward and to the point, which is what I need! And my group counselor, Veronica, is so sweet and understanding! She is the best group counselor I’ve ever gotten to work with! And they were the perfect combination to best help me, considering my personality and my own issues. I hated that Kim was able to pull my deep rooted issues out of me so that I had to process and deal with them! Just because I say I hated it, doesn’t mean it was a bad thing! But quite the opposite! Kim got me to open up and figure out where some of my issues really started, and I was able to start dealing and accepting things!
But aside from how wonderful my counselors were, Lionrock was exactly what I was looking for! If I were to describe Lionrock to someone, I would describe it as mental/behavior health with a focus around addiction. I don’t need nor want a 12 step program, or anyone looking down on me if I screw up! That just makes me want to screw up more! Lionrock understands that relapse is part of rehabilitation, and helps you to find out why you felt the need to relapse, and helps you process it and move forward! And the people in my group were great as well! I got to meet people from all over the country, and still talk to some of them! I would honestly go back to Lionrock if relapse is an issue, or if I feel I need some mental health classes!

Lionrock was the worst experience of my life. the consolers were A-holes and so was the group. It was terrible...I suggest Modern Recovery for online IOP.
I am worthy
I was desperate and on the verge of losing everything. I was not in a position to leave my life for months or even close enough to an IOP center for in person ongoing treatment. I decided to search online options not really knowing if there were any. I was unbelievably fortunate enough to find Lionrock. I am beyond grateful to say that I am almost 18 months sober and I couldn’t have gotten here without the help of Lionrock!! I am still attending the meetings offered on a daily basis because I get so much from the connection and love I experience in meetings. I’ve made lifelong friends on this journey that I never thought possible until I was taught at Lionrock that I am worthy of recovery!
I highly recommend Lionrock for anyone…
I highly recommend Lionrock for anyone seeking help with recovery. It was instrumental in my sobriety. The staff and counselors were caring and made me feel a part of a team. Having this opportunity in the middle of the pandemic was life changing. Loved both the individual and group sessions. I was welcomed into a group that fit my personality and style and made the experience all the more successful.
My Lionrock experience was absolutely…
My Lionrock experience was absolutely essential to my recovery journey. From the 1st point of contact everyone I dealt with from consultation to intake, to group and individual sessions and even billing was made as easy and as comfortable as I could imagine. The staff is all extremely kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. I would recommend the program to everyone and anyone looking for help at any point in their recovery process. Be your best self!
Staying sober is not a quick fix
Staying sober is not a quick fix, it is an ongoing journey that takes many tools. Lionrock showed me how to find the best ways and reasons to live my life without alcohol. I am 283 days sober and counting. I am grateful to the staff at Lionrock that supported me throughout each stage of the process.
I would like to say I started my…
I would like to say I started my recovery at Lionrock but that would not be 100% accurate. I was in an inpatient program for 8 weeks prior to having Lionrock recommended for me. I was very apprehensive about joining an online continuing care program. I am an older man and have not experienced the online thing. Well, I opened up my mind to the community and my intelligent councilors. each one of them having a unique way of getting me to open up and explore my inner child that has been lost for far too long. By being an online program I found that I was able to be more comfortable with who I am. One of the best features I found At lionrock is the wide range of community groups. I found it much more helpful than I could have ever imagined. I found that having a variety of groups for me to choose from became very beneficial to me. My favorite groups are the community meting, the nutritionist meeting, and last but not least the Adult children of alcoholics that I am also co-hosting. That is something I would have never thought I would do. I have a very strong foundation because of Lionrock and I have found what I had lost so many years ago. My true self.
not what i was expecting or hoping for
I came to Lionrock cause it looked like it would be the easiest program to fly under the radar, and I fully intended to until I met my personal therapist assigned by Lionrock, her name was Courtney Dombrowski. I've been known to sit in complete silence for entire 45min or hour long therapy sessions. The "we can sit in silence" threat is exactly what I'm aiming for. Courtney was able to chisel away at the most hardened walls I had erected around my trauma ridden experience of a life. Courtney created a safe and comfortable environment for me to be vulnerable in; she pushed when she had to, pulled when necessary, and knew when to just shut up and let me babble. I covered more ground and received more life long healing from Courtney Dombrowski in the couple months I was at Lionrock then I ever have since Dr's started force feeding me mental health medication at 15 years old. I know a freedom and a happiness I never knew existed and Courtney held my hand the entire way and illuminated the path of sobriety and recovery for me. Lionrock has a real gem of a team member in Courtney, she made my experience worth it, totally and completely.
