I sent them an email regarding a product which I have ordered from them and its been a week and they still haven't replied at all. All i wanted to ask was a small question about whether or not I need return labels and they simply don't care when it comes to customer service. It's like talking to a brick wall. Their service hours are also trash because it's the time when I go to school and when I come back home they close. They also close on the weekends which make it so much more difficult just to get a hold of this trash company. Never buying from them again, hopefully nobody does either. Their products suck, too expensive, and customer service is terrible. Never coming back.

Do not order online! Ordered wine glasses before black friday as a Christmas gift. Still hasn't arrived. In the interim I've recieved wrong items and someone elses order from a completely wrong address. I've reached out to customer support 4 times via the chat. It takes 20-30 mins to reach an agent once the awful bot finally stops gate keeping. From there, assurences are given that you'll reciece an update in short order (48hrs or 2 business days is the go to answer). Spoiler, you don't get an update. Additionally, sent an email and never recieved a response. Do not waste your time, it simply isn't worth it.
To add insult to injury, you'll get email spammed asking for reviews of the product you haven't recieced.

Bought window coverings and the installer broke one of them after waiting to get them for 5 weeks. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks for the replacement. Their response: "We're not responsible if shit happens."

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Save yourself the hassle and place an order elsewhere; if anything goes wrong there is no chance of actually getting a response or engaging with a human to resolve it.
It has been nearly a month since placing an order and my items have still not been delivered and I have no idea where my order is. The lack of communication and ability to contact anyone regarding this is astonishing.
I am told the order was shipped on December 3rd and the tracking number still says estimated delivery December 13th which is obviously wrong as two weeks have passed since then.
The only communications I have had from Linen Chest are automated emails asking me to review the products in my order which I have not received.
When I finally received an email response after battling the customer service bot multiple times I was told the order was on the way, with no details provided. I responded the same day and am yet to hear back.
I have also tried to communicate with their courier (Nationex) directly and have not received a response.

Bought 3 Quattro bath sheets, 2 online, 1 in store. 5" too short, so false advertising. Washed the towels 4 times and the amount of lint still coming off of them is horrendous!!! Not to mention what I am inhaling!! There is $85 down the drain.
Left FB on their site, never got published. Noticed a past FB complaining about the lint also, was removed. They ONLY publish 4 stars and up. Not very honest. Can't contact the company, can only go through their extremely inadequate on line chat. I wish this company would stop bragging that they are Canadian.

I have ordered at least 4 items this fall/winter so far and for the most part no problems with Linen Chest. But one item (candles) was not packed in a box but in a bag wrapped well in bubble wrap so candle was dented in some areas on the bottom part. No biggie for me as I am just using the candles for winter power outages. Just wished it was packed in a box instead of a filmsy bag...lol! All ordered items were shipped on time as expected. I will continue to order from this company...happy customer....so far so good!

Very very bad service. We ordered a set of dinnerware and the cups were broken during shipping. We wrote to them and they said a replacement shipment will be made. After multiple multiple emails I was told again that the shipment was made; but when I asked for a tracking number, they were not able to provide and wrote that they'd ask the warehouse for it. It has been 2 months and we still don't have our broken cups replaced.
They never provided an answer/reason for the poor service. We wonder whether they're an honest business.

Wish I had read your reviews before ordering from Linen Chest. Same problems as Nisha whose review I could almost have copied and pasted. No confirmation since Dec. 10th when my credit card was debited. Bot is useless. Now waiting for reply to my email. No way to track my order, no order number....
Update: Today, Dec. 20. I want to thank Linen Chest for getting back to me via email and putting money back on my credit card.

They did not publish my negative review of Starfrit LocknLock juice jug that leaks at the corners. No wonder that product has a 5 star rating on their site. There were only 3 reviews, all of which were 5 stars. I went to do a second review and got a message that they already have my review! This is dishonest.

I placed an order on Dec 7th with the expectation that this was plenty of time to receive before Christmas. After a few days of waiting with no updates, I did some investigating and was able to see that my order was set to ship out mid December. Gave it a few more days, still no updates. Investigated again and saw that the scheduled ship out date had now been moved to Dec 22nd. This clearly wont arrive before Christmas so I try to contact the company and ask why they can't ship it out sooner. Well I find out THERE IS NO HUMANS TO TALK TO!!! I called the customer service line which just directs you to their website bot. I tried asking the bot about the shipping with which they were completely useless so I asked it repeatedly to speak to a human which they only respond that they don't understand what I'm saying. This company has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Thankfully the bot was able to do one thing - cancel my order. Now I'm left scrambling with one week until Christmas to find a new gift. DO NOT recommend this company at all.

Poor Customer Service!
Placed on order for a number of items for Christmas gifts on December 1, all indicated 1 to 7 days for shipment. I checked Track Order last week and found out that one item would not be shipped until January and the rest by December 16. As noted by others the bot chat is useless, and when I asked to speak to someone, I was eventually contacted by email only to be given the excuse of a few days delay in shipment - at this point it was already 10 days, not a few. Today I looked into the shipment to learn that shipment date has been moved to December 23. When I got a person on the chat I was informed that one store was filling my order and they didn't have 1 item, so they have requested another store to send it to them, and then they would ship everything, and there is a chance I would get these items before Christmas. So instead of shipping out the bulk of my order so I have it in time, they would rather take the chance I am left with none of the gifts (how embarrassing) - this is extremely poor customer service.
When I was finally able to message with a customer service rep - she ended the chat when I hadn't responded to her within a minute, but it was okay when I had to wait for her earlier.
Update December 19: Customer service rep finally responded to an email I sent December 10th with a follow up Dec 16, to apologize. They have separated the shipment, so the store does not need to wait for the missing item - but it still won't be shipped out until "early next week" - not sure if they realize that's still December 23 (the earliest), so unless its overnight delivery, I will still be left 3 gifts short!

I placed an order on December 7, 2024 and it’s for a pick up at my local store.
I never received a confirmation email of my order but my credit card has been charged.
The bot on their website is completely useless, as it asks me to put in my order number which I don’t have because I don’t have the email from Linen Chest.
I also tried resetting my password to log in to my account but the reset password emails are not being sent.
This is super frustrating as Linen Chest has taken my money and I have no way of getting my order.
I hope to hear from someone because otherwise I will make sure to never order from you again.
Update on Dec 19: I contacted your email twice and never received a reply. You took my money!!

So let me get this straight. You advertise a product on a “Black Friday” sale at 20% off. You take ten days to tell me the product you advertise is not in inventory and you then proceed to offer me a discount of a lesser value than you had originally advertised?
I have to tell you, this is the first and last time I attempt to purchase a product from you. Approximately 90% of my purchases are online and I have never had this happen to me. At the very least, I think you would offer an identical or greater discount than originally posted due to the inconvenience. I would have at least expected at the very least, someone actually recommend something similar that is in stock rather than this autogenerated email.

Imagine a company that only has a bot chat for a form of communication and never responds to emails, and has no customer service phone number.
I won’t be ordering from this company again. Today is December 5 and I’ve been waiting almost a week and only saw the package listed with Nationex today.
This is the second time I had an issue with this company. Last year in December I ordered a gift for a friend and had to wait more than a week wait for the package. Then this year I placed an order—forgetting about last year’s experience—snd they shipped in two sepaerate packages. The first package was delivered CANPAR and there was no problem. However, today is December 5 and I’ve been waiting almost a week and only saw the package listed with Nationex today. It took 6 days for them to get the package.
Linen Chest Canada is nothing like Linen Chest USA. They are doing a horrible job.

Terrible experience!!!
I placed an order for 4 bedsheets that were shipped in two different packages on two different days.
When i went to get the packages from the pickup location, there was only one package.
Both of the parcels were assigned
the SAME tracking numbers. The courier company couldn't find the second package. Tracking from linen chest claims it to be delivered, which is false.
I tried multiple times to connnect with their customer service but its no existential with bot giving automated replies. Extremely disappointed.

My first experience online with Linen Chest has been wonderful. I'm surprised by the negative reviews here.
During their 2024 Black Friday sale, I purchased online a dinnerware service for 4. I received the order quickly with excellent email correspondence on the status of my order.
Once I received the order and opened the box I saw one of the salad plates was broken. Considering the fragile package was being shipped from Quebec to Ontario I wasn't surprised there might be a damaged piece.
I signed onto Linen Chest's website and connected with the Chat service. They promptly collected the information, requested a photo of the broken plate and promised to send a replacement.
This was on November 29, 2024.
Today is December 2nd. A package had arrived via Nationex courier from Linen Chest containing the replacement plate. I was surprised how fast it arrived! It was well protected in bubble wrap to ensure the fragile replacement plate arrived intact.
I'm very pleased with the attention and service I received.
They took what could have been a bad experience and turned it into a satisfying customer service encounter.
I would definitely shop with Linen Chest again and recommend their Business.
