We are sorry to read about your disappointment. The book you received was not fake, but unfortunately had a printing fault. In such cases, we always offer our customers the choice between a full refund, a replacement copy, or a discount. You chose the €5 discount, which we applied as requested. We regret that the solution did not meet your expectations.
Libristo's really low prices are actually a good thing.
I live in Greece and foreign language books are hard to find and also very expensive. So, I bought two books in separate times, from them and both times my orders went very smoothly. I was sceptical because the prices were significantly lower than any other source, but I actually received the books I bought, new & unused, in a reasonable amount of time, with update emails about the status of the orders, so yes, I do find them trustworthy, and will use them in the future.
(My review was delayed because I wanted to see if they continue to be the most affordable. One year later, they are.)

Personally I loved it
Personally I loved it. Of course the shipping took a bit long but that is understandable since some of my books weren’t in stock. I love that they have almost every book I am searching for and they are quite cheap and that is the reason I am ready to wait a bit longer.

Good packaging, fast delivery/processing and good customer support
Books were in good shape when they arrived and were packaged well compared to Amazon which always seems to have some sort of damage on the books due to their bad packaging. Their processing time and delivery is also really fast, it only takes a day once they get the books to process them and the books themselfs will arrive in under a week once they've been processed.
When sending an email they always responded within a day and gave clear answers which helps save a lot of time by preventing more questions.
Prices were a little on the higher side when comparing them with the prices on Amazon, but I'd say that it's worth the cost with how well they handle the books when shipping them and with how good their customer support is.

Best online book store in Europe
Best online book store in Europe, especially if you're after manga and light novels. Shipping is relatively cheap compared to other stores in Central Europe (I live in Finland) and they are packaged very well, I haven't had any damage. And still you get points that you can use for free shipping and a loyal customer discount.
In my experience (2 orders of about 7 books each) the items have been shipped faster than the estimates if they came from suppliers.
The support staff has been very helpful and always responded to me in a few hours eg. inquiring about availability and adding some extra books to my order before it has been shipped.
