Landscapes of Andalucia is a fabulous…

Landscapes of Andalucia is a fabulous trip, and drivers Paul and Lisa awesome as always.
The food was mostly great, just one or two of the set meals were hit and miss, but the buffets were amazing.
The hotel in Toledo though, was late, 8.30pm, so we ate out.
You must prebook Seville Cordoba and Alhambra excursions, some of our friends were unable to do them as they were told they could book onboard. Having said that, they were worth the money, Mezquita mosque and Alhambra were amazing, but be prepared for a lot of walking!
Ubeda and Baeza on the Scenic Andalucia excursion were disappointing, not much to do, and the few shops were closed, and not enough time spent in Toledo, which would be far better.

Dutch Bulb Fields and Amsterdam

We booked this trip on a Luxuria coach because it encompassed the elements and places that we wished to visit. Shaun and Rachel were excellent drivers and coach hosts. The hotel was a boutique, fairly small hotel on the outskirts of Utrecht. It was spotlessly clean.

War in the air.

The trip was very well organised, David our guide was very knowledgeable and answered almost every question 😀
Our driver George and his wife Jo were great. Jo was very attentive and made sure everyone was back on the coach and was always happy to supply drinks.
The trip visits some fascinating places....the attack on the dams by 617 Squadron is beyond belief.
Colditz Castle with the virtual tour was very interesting and informative.
Stalag Luft 3 was interesting although there is not much left in the forest however the museum was very interesting.
Dresden is a beautiful city and has been restored to its former glory.
Lastly the cemeteries are of course very moving, with someone of the group researching paticularly graves
So in conclusion an excellent tour which my friends and I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent tour

Excellent drivers and guide. So many fascinating places to visit, I'm still buzzing from it all. There was a lot of driving, but Luxuria coaches mean it's a comfortable experience. Altogether a brilliant tour, thoroughly recommended for anyone with an interest in WWII and also the effects on those living through and after it.

Fantastic trip two awesome drivers in…

Fantastic trip two awesome drivers in Steff and Dan. Great hotel. staff in hotel also very good. Even after a 13 hour trip the drivers were cleaning the coach inside and outside remarkable. Everything was great so we are already talking about booking another trip.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

THE TRIP WAS FANTASTIC BUT THE DRIVER AND TEA / COFFEE MAKER WOMEN WAS NOT VERY GOOD , THE JOURNEY WAS ( VERY LONG ) BECAUSE OF THAT ( I) WAS INFORMED BY THE DRIVER THAT I COULD ( NOT USE THE TOILET ON THE COACH ) ( DOING A NUMBER 2 - WHEN I NEEDED TO GO ???? I WAS TOLD TO ONLY USE THE PETRAL STATIONS TOILETS ... AT TIMES FOR UP TO 3 1/2 HOURS ,,,,, I HAVE USED LEGER HOLIDAYS FOR ABOUT ( 20 YEARS ) NOW ,,, BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE ( I WILL NEVER EVER USE LEGER HOLIDAYS AGAIN ,, VERY VERY BAD

Overall a good journey only one…

Overall a good journey only one complaint there was not a lot of leg room in the single rear facing seat it felt a little cramped for a long journey.
Stayed at The Moxy in Utrech room was ok,bed comfy could have done with more storage for clothes only about 4 hangers and no drawers. No tea bags and wasn't filled up all week.
Shaun and Rachel were the best tour guides and kept us informed about the area and plenty of refreshments offered

Tour to Holland - Keukenhof, Amsterdam, The Hague and Delft

The tour overall was very good. Our guides Rachel and Shaun were very caring, professional and very helpful. The tours to Keukenhof, Amsterdam, The hague and Delft were very interesting. The negatives were the long travelling times from Leeds via Dover ferry. We stayed in the Moxy Hotel in Utrecht. The rooms were a little on the small size. There were no chairs, drawers or wardrobes. The food at the hotel was also a little variable sometimes being cold.

Once we got there it was a wonderful…

Once we got there it was a wonderful holiday. Travelled to the Amalfi coast and the Neapolitan riviera. We were blessed with amazing weather and Sorrento, Capri and Rome were amazing!
Unfortunately we didn't find the Luxuria as comfortable as the first time we used it for a trip to Austria. We think it could have been the fact that our seats were above the twin axle. We both suffered from extremely painful shoulders and necks. I used a travel pillow which didn't help. Such a shame. We did find the very long 3 days travelling to get there and 3 days back very tiring and uncomfortable. Any comfort breaks, which were few and far between were not long enough ( average 20 minutes) and we felt rushed constantly. Not like being on holiday at all. Drivers were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Hotel overnights were good except one. There was no porterage and no ramp up to the entrance to wheel your suitcases. My husband had to help two elderly ladies with theirs and then ours as well.
We had booked a trip to Pompeii but when we were told that it entails walking around for about 3 hours with nowhere to sit we decided to cancel. I have heart problems and arthritis and would never have managed it unfortunately. Leger should make it clear when booking if there are restrictions that may affect the experience.
The hotel in Vico Equense was superb. Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff and we thoroughly enjoyed it there.We would use Leger again but not a coach trip

Our first trip with Leger.

Our first trip with Leger was a river cruise to the Dutch bulb fields travelling on Serenade 1.Our drivers /couriers were Stan & Phil who did a fantastic job as did Bev & Florin and the amazing crew on Serenade 1.Despite a last minute change to the return journey both Stan & Phil managed to get us over to Dover efficiently.Would definately recommend Leger Holidays.

This was our first coach trip...

This was our first coach trip and was "an experiment" to see if we liked this way of travelling. The result - fantastic! We did the "All Quiet On The Western Front" trip. Going out we had a very minimal knowledge of WW1 but we came back with a far greater understanding of that awful war. Tim, our guide, was like an encyclopedia of facts and stories and along with Sonia and Mark, the drivers, made sure we had a great time. Very much recommended and we are already planning a WW2 trip for next year.

First time with Leger

First time with Leger. The team on the coach Paul and Mark were excellent. We found the days quite long and the hotel was very basic in Breda.Iy was quite a walk to get to restaurants. The actual trip was very good except the last which was The Hague and Delft. The Hague trip was a waste of time drop off by coach and not near any sights. We would have been better staying in Delft longer.
