Room was in seperate building up a metal staircase, room smelled musty & damp. Old decor & shower very old. No mini fridge with water only way to get water was to leave the room & go into the hotel & ask for water at reception or bar. No net curtains on window or on patio doors so had to keep the curtains closed everytime we were in the room during the day. Walls paper thin could hear everything the next rooms were doing. Food was mediocur. Very overpriced at €200 per night.

Traditional high quality family-run hotel, offering perfect Irish hospitality. Characterful rooms, welcoming bar, excellent menus, amazing breakfasts, our group of 41 friends from Colmar in France was simply delighted with this introduction to Connemara and to Ireland. Efficient, helpful and friendly staff were a bonus !
