Do not rent a car at this company!!
We rent a car in Italy, Bergamo. We brought the car back with the same (or even a bit more) amount of diesel in the tank as how we got it from them.
We even made a picture of how full the tank was when we got it.
But, the day after we brought back the car, they send us a bill of €78?!
They said because of the tank??!!
They just took it from the creditcard and now they do not respond to any of our e-mails!!
WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY EVER. STAY AWAY. First of all they gave us a different car with a higher fuel consumption. Second, they are very quick to take the 600 euros deposit and then they take weeks to give it back (if they do so, cause I am still waiting). You have to call 5 different phone numbers to get in touch with someone to help you. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
We didn't have credit card in name of my wife. To get the car Leasys requested to add me as second driver. This costed just as much as original price (effectively doubling the price of rental)
They charged me 40 euro as a service charge for a traffic violation I apparently made over three months ago when I rented the car in Italy. All they told me was that they were charging me and that the 40 euro was not the fine. No information of what the violation was, when it occured, or where. Do not rent from them. I should have known there was a catch with the cheap rental price.
Did not get the car. On the check in been told that only electric car were available. I have lost £143 as cancellation fee. Do not recommend this company
The company charged my card for an additional day of rental and it does not respond to emails on this matter. Nothing has been cleared up for 2 months!

Probably the worst rental company in Italy. Very unhelpful staff at Torino Airport location, they failed my credit card twice for no reason, implying I had no sufficient money in my card, I then tried with a different employee and it went through, however, no explanations on where to find the car, what's the insurance/fuel policy. Car was very old, not carplay option, manual windows handles, front tyre with low pressure, 45.000 km on the clock, and also not the group reserved. At the return, the car has not been checked while I was present, I have been sent away when I asked for an invoice, saying that I will receive, Til this day my depo is still held from my credit card and no invoice has been sent nor available to download from the QR code. Nobody is answering my emails, or my calls. Customer care NON EXISTENT.
Waited 2 hours in a queue to collect car, car was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned (so no way to check damage before driving off), finally got it cleaned so after 3 hours managed to leave the airport.
Return car a week later and still waiting for holding deposit to be refunded (after 7 days from returning the vehicle).
Terrible…Terrible.

We wanted to rent a car at Bari airport. After landing, I rented a car and paid online. When taking over, the staff asked for a deposit of 800 euros (I also paid full insurance), which was a lot for my bank. The family's other credit card was not accepted. I canceled the order because they were not helpful. I didn't get the rent back from the lessees, I called them, but they don't want to help. . We paid the full insurance premium, I don't understand why they ask for a deposit of 800Eur, my bank doesn't allow this. Why isn't it checked when I pay my rent?
Have issue with credit card being wrongly charged. Ongoing for 2 months now. Still no solution. All customer care can do is send an email to someone else and wait for a response.

You still have not refunded the total deposit of 1600 € (800€+800€) you charged for the cars we rented in June and September 2022. Please give us an explanation urgently. why don't you return it? when will you do it?
As a company, we make business trips to Bergoma almost twice a month. After that, Leasys is over for us. As customers, we are victims. Nobody take care us now. I am waiting for an urgent reply.

The worst car rental company I have ever delt with.
On our late arrival in Pisa we found office shut with no any information. had to rent another car for one day from Herz(the only office opened) to get us to our hotel.
Next Day we went to collect car from Leasys with hope to get some kind of reduction in price due to not providing service.
Instead we got very rude assistant who was more interested with her lunch break than actually explaining what were our options....
We did not take the car offered from Leasys,instead we hired a car from Italian car rental.
Now we are opening the case with credit card company in order to receive the refund.

First - they DEMAND a credit card. Debit card didn't suit them. Cash doesn't suit them either. Obviously, because debit card is not so easy to scam. Suspicious right away!!! Then slowly they start to take money from the credit card. 40euros at first and then all together tried to take 500 euros in small amounts. THIEVES!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Use Sixt or something that can be trusted.
Horrible experience. 2 hours queuing to pick up the car. Then was given an a car well below the class we paid for with no apology or refund just told that’s all they had.
When we collected it from the car park it was dirty, and the tank was much less than full.
Worst company ever. First of all it’s a scam. That’s why the prices are low. They scam people to make a profit.
They refused to let us pick up the hire car we had booked, the woman kept pressing the debit button instead credit. Bookings.com still charged us the complete amount despite us being unable to pick up the car. Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, refusing to even try our card and then saying we couldn’t use the card
5 stars for Barbara at Pisa airport. Such a nice and helpful lady have I never met when I rented a car. Thanks a lot, we will come back.

I've paid a traffic penance about 40 Euros twice cause Leasys forwarded it to me even I already paid the penance directly to the Police. Even, I've sent the confirmation of the transaction to Leasys, they still booked it on my credit card!
Poor Service and definitely my last time at Leasys.
