More Than a Mobility
Participating in the Erasmus+ mobility in Madeira within the course **“Transforming Teaching with Emotional Intelligence”** was a very valuable and inspiring experience, both professionally and personally.
The course gave me the opportunity to explore the importance of emotional intelligence in education and to understand how emotions influence communication, motivation, learning and relationships in the classroom. Through practical activities, group discussions, reflection and sharing experiences with teachers from different countries, I gained new ideas that I can apply in my everyday teaching.
One of the most important lessons for me was that effective teaching is not only about knowledge and methodology, but also about understanding students, listening to them and creating a safe and supportive learning environment. I especially appreciated the practical approach of the course, which made the activities engaging and easy to connect with real classroom situations.
The international environment was another important part of the mobility. Meeting teachers from different educational systems allowed me to exchange ideas, learn about different approaches to teaching and develop new professional connections. At the same time, discovering the culture, nature and atmosphere of Madeira made the whole experience even more memorable.
This mobility encouraged me to reflect on my own teaching practice and motivated me to become more aware of my emotions and the emotions of my students. I believe that the knowledge and experiences gained during this course will have a positive impact on my future work.
Overall, **“Transforming Teaching with Emotional Intelligence”** was an enriching Erasmus+ experience that combined professional development, personal growth, intercultural learning and unforgettable memories.
