Worst short term loan company I’ve ever had the misfortune of falling prey to their ridiculous interest rate. I had a loan back in 2018 that I had paid off and then in February 2021 they start pulling money from my bank account without authorization! Seeking legal counsel

Funds Deposited $1,000 after 2weeks pay interest $239 after 3days deposited
Funds are not deposited on my account in next 2 or 3days business day , then after 2weeks they deposited , after they deposited the $1,000, they want me to pay interest $239 in 3days . I was paid off the loan even I did not use it . All proofs are on my account . Even I’m complaint with them they will ignored you . Not recommend!!!!!!!

LEAP Credit screwing you over if you prepay. Not following loan agreement.
I took out a loan from Leap credit last summer. The principal was $2,000 and interest was 767%. Stupid thing to do but I took the loan with the intent to pay off early as allowed without penalty.
I made all of my payments of $767 every two weeks up to and including November 18. I had paid $6300 of interest expense and still owed $2,185 of principal according to truth in lending statement in laon agreement. I called to pay off the loan assuming it would be $2,185 on Nov 18. All my payments had been on time. Although I had paid 767% interest accrued daily through November 18 of $6,300, they wanted $3,000 to close out the loan. They said the payoff amount included the principal plus additional $800 of additional interest. Remember I already paid 767% interest for 4 months, but since I was paying off early they wanted more.
I made a payment of $2,200 and told them I considered it paid off. They kept on accruing interest and I called them all the time to resolve. Would have great conversation with a service rep and they would say they were escalating to management an I would never hear back. Like 15 calls over 4 months.
Finally talked to someone in mid March 2021 who said my payoff was now not the $900 I did not pay earlier but was $3,000. I am so weary. They said they would settle for $800 they took from my account without approval and another 2,400 to settle.

There is absolutely no penalty for paying off early. Each payment made toward the loan goes toward the interest and principal. If a customer does not wish to pay off their account's complete balance, we have a program to fit those specific criteria. Your company allowed someone to initiate a loan in my name. Now I am being harassed terribly! I have reported this fraudulent loan to all 3 credit bureaus and the BBB and am pursuing legal action. I have never experienced this level of disrespect and harassment!

Finally got ahold of someone in customer service to ask for refund of overpayment, but they can't seem to find my loan since it's paid off

They gave an option due to COVID affecting me. Filled out the forms they required to have payment come out a week later. They did not do it. Very poor and definitely a predatory credit provider. Don’t ever use them!
