I had a property inspection carried out by Debbie, which was completed in a professional manner. Debbie was courteous at all times, with very friendly chat throughout the inspection.

Tenant of property
As the tenant of a property managed by Leaders (Spalding), I was extremely disappointed by the way this tenancy was handled. During a dispute over rent, I was contacted by the branch regarding a refund that I had never requested. I made it clear that I did not want my landlord’s rent returned to me, as I understood the issue was between Leaders and the landlord, not me.
Communication throughout was confusing and unprofessional, and it appeared the branch was trying to resolve an internal accounting problem by involving tenants unnecessarily. This caused avoidable stress and uncertainty for everyone involved.
From my experience, the branch lacked transparency, accountability and effective communication. I would expect a letting agent to manage client money and tenancy matters competently without placing tenants in the middle of internal mistakes. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Spalding branch.

Do not trust Leaders (Spalding Branch)…
Do not trust Leaders (Spalding Branch) or Leaders Romans Group with your property, your contracts, or your money.
They are currently unlawfully retaining a whole month in cleared rent belonging to me as the landlord. Rather than remitting my funds, branch staff (Josh Stafford and Senior Branch Manager Natalie Orgles) made unauthorized, off-the-record phone calls directly to my tenants behind my back, attempting to refund my cleared rent money to them to cover up an internal accounting blunder. My tenants rightly rejected this, confirmed they never requested a refund, and reported the agent's actions directly to me.
On top of this mishandling of client trust funds, Josh Stafford mis-sold a void policy under false pretenses—adding outright financial misrepresentation to an already appalling track record. When confronted with these serious compliance failures, Senior Branch Manager Natalie Orgles offered a dismissive 17-word brush-off response, demonstrating a total lack of accountability and breach of fiduciary duty.
This branch operates like a complete "Fawlty Towers" setup in direct violation of Client Money Protection (CMP) standards, fiduciary obligations, and consumer protection regulations. The matter is now formally escalated to executive leadership (CEO Michael Cook, Regional MD Emma Wells, Chief Lettings Officer Allison Thompson), legal counsel, Trading Standards, and The Property Ombudsman.
Absolute disgraceful conduct and total incompetence. Save yourself the stress and avoid the Spalding branch at all costs.

Sophie and Matt
Sophie and Matt are fantastic, very helpful and great to speak to, will always try to answer any questions I throw at them and I throw a lot of questions at them... lol... if they can't answer them straight away they try to get back to me as quick as they can... they have tried to make the process as painless as possible and my situation has been quite painful from the other side to say the least... ( section 21 ) and Sophie and matt have been great all the way through.. 👏 👍 ❤️
So thanks both of you so so much. 💗

The worst letting agency ever!
Please don’t let a property with leaders, they are a horrible letting agency, Jamie Galloway In particular a property manager at Spalding branch is absolutely useless, doesn’t respond to emails, I’ve emailed him 4 times with no response, and we does finally email he is rude and has a pissy attitude. I actually cannot stand him.
I rented a 2 bedroom in Spalding and have had issues with these lot from day one.
I am in the process of making a huge complaint about leaders to the ombudsman. They tell you to do rent free option but ended up paying £45 a month which if you add up at some point will amount to more then the actual deposit, and they keep the money for themselves, they don’t put no protections in place by you paying the £45pcm it’s a joke. NEVER TAKE THE DEPOSIT FREE OPTION, just PAY THE DEPOSIT. And have proper protections in place.
They’re forever in your space doing visits, like I hate them. When I left the property I paid £280 for a professional clean and £350 for a repaint sent them the invoices and they charged me £350 for a professional clean, that I already paid for! They’re disgusting Frauds! They want to suck every penny out of you.
