I would strongly advise going anywhere else than with these!!
No care for you as a tenant, barely answer your calls or emails. Half the staff are off all the while.
Never work quickly and leave you in a state!!
I will NEVER rent again and if I was to let out a property, I would chose anyone over these.
Good luck!

Outrageous
Unfortunately it won’t let me give them a 0 star rating, 1 star is the lowest.
Absolute scum of a company! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Never experienced such horrible treatment from certain members of the team and such horrible living conditions.
In short, false advertisement from the very beginning! The flat was full of mould and they did nothing about it, by the end my health was affected, most of my clothing and furniture was damaged and all they could say was that it was my fault, even though i found out that the previous tenant had been through the same situation.
The mattress that was initially provided to me in the semi furnished flat was also mouldy and full of holes, this was not visible in the viewing, (so was the wall that was behind the bed, therefore it just kept spreading). It is clear that all they keep doing is covering it up with paint to temporarily “solve” the issue. The carpet was filthy, walls were damaged in general, the interior part of the window had condensation, the washing machine was disgusting and had a horrible odor, the kitchen was filthy (old bits of food in the fridge, oven, cupboards etc) and they had the cheek to say that it had been deep cleaned), THE TOILET SEAT EVEN HAD MOULD ON IT as well as a crack in the bowl which was not fixed , and so on.
A few months after leaving the flat, the landlord also tried to steal my deposit money by falsely accusing me of issues that the flat initially had, amongst other ridiculous reasons. Luckily my money was protected by the deposit scheme and they kindly gave me the full amount back, backing up my arguments.
Also, the month before leaving, they had arranged viewings for new tenants to move in. As i was present i could hear the lies that the agent was telling to these people, in order to try and get a new tenant in asap, such as, “we will sort the mould out” (maybe that particular agent wasn’t aware of the ongoing issue, but I was told by the manager that this would not be sorted out as it is not their problem, hence me having to leave).
I am aware that unfortunately these kind of things occur regularly throughout agencies and landlords, but honestly this is the worst experience i have ever had with an agency and landlord. Don’t let them fool you

Incredibly unhelpful, predatory, and don't care about tenants.
Have had an ongoing complaint as a tenant about damp and mould since November 2023. Was given no updates on the situation, had a single person come to inspect the property and couldn't get roof access so he never came back. We've spent probably hundreds on running dehumidifiers and replacing furniture and clothing lost to damp and mould.
They got us to sign a 12 month tenancy renewal, and have now reneged on that offer with a 1 month rolling contract in place, meaning they're likely going to look to have us evicted at some point if there's any amount of work required now that we're at the end of the tenancy.
I would avoid this agent like the plague in future, and I would urge any other prospective tenants to do the same.
Riley was very friendly and helpful
Riley was very friendly and helpful. I got all the support and information I needed and moving houses was a breeze.
Disrespectful, arrogant, lazy.
Absolutely awful. Lack of responses. It took almost two years to get my fence repaired after asking multiple times and the embarrassment of the neighbours asking multiple times.
And it took 11 MONTHS to get a ROOF repair. Which I believe they only eventually actioned because we were moving out.
They then try to scam you when moving out if you’ve signed an NDO.
Not a Leader in any aspect
From start to ongoing, awful, shockingly poor service, I can’t say the real feeling on here. My daughter rented a house share room for uni. Leaders office in Norwich were an absolute shambles, eventually moved in. Now problems with the house, major mold, a health risk, leaders don’t care and the property management side of the business do not turn up for arranged appointments. This business is run by cowboys, not a care in the world except money and screwing the landlord and tenants, about time these guys were put out of business…..well, messed with the wrong people now….its coming.
OLIVIA AT LEADERS
Had a viewing today with Olivia. She was polite, very approachable and friendly. Pleasure to meet her.
Stay clear! You will have to pester them relentlessly to get your deposit back!
Quite simply the worst rental agency we have used, and we have used a number in Norwich over the years. We were promised desks would be provided in the apartment that we rented, but on moving in there were no desks even though the agency had added them in a note on the contract. When the landlord was asked to provide them he stated that he had not agreed to this and that it was the rental agency who would need to do so as they had added them to the contract without his knowledge or consent. Needless to say the agency refused to provide them, and argued that it was the landlord's responsibility, so we were forced to buy our own desks.
On moving out of the apartment it took no less than 6 weeks to get our deposit back. This was only after relentless chasing on our part as Leaders do nothing to start the process and then put an endless amount of obstacles in your path. Each time we contacted them there was yet another hoop to jump through, and each step took the person dealing with it several days. Eventually we were told that all steps had been cleared and the deposit would be released that day, but when it didn't appear for a week and we chased again they admitted that they had not actually instigated the release for a further 6 days. Absolulely terrible service, we spent weeks calling and emailing them. When you are moving to a new apartment you can't afford to wait 6 weeks for the return of your old deposit as you have to find rent up front and another deposit for the new place.
Very poor service for landlords on the…
Very poor service for landlords on the lettings side and terms of which are difficult to get out of.

This company ( Norwich office ) complete shambles . Made a complete mess of a tenancy find last year ,2021. Contacted us in May 2022 to ask if they could make amends and do our tenant find again , which we agreed to do . It has been a total nightmare again . Leaders found a tenant then day before they were due to move in we found out the that references had not been received and tenant had CCJ ! We now have void period , loss of rent and no tenant. Ongoing through the complaints process. Beware !!

Absolutely awful letting agents.
Absolutely awful letting agents.
We had to live in a damp ridden freezing cold property. We always paid full rent and the additional no deposit option fees.
They still haven’t sorted the damp issues fully just hired dodgy builders to do the roof. But they didn’t bother insulating the walls so it will only yet worse.
our belongings got ruined and covered in damp constantly and my children’s health was at risk. We couldn’t afford to move so got stuck in this awful situation with not so much as a sorry.
When we eventually moved they’re now trying to charge us £480 “damage” costs for ridiculous issues that I’ve proved with photos do not all need doing.
They are now refusing to discuss the issues and demanding the money.
They simply do not care and do not do the job properly.
STAY WELL AWAY

Difficult situation with tenant
We had a difficult situation with our tenants. I spoke to George Batley. He was extremely good in understanding our concerns and made a phone call to help with the situation.
This made me feel in good hands. Thankyou George

Great service
We have had an excellent experience with Leaders Northwich and in particular Emma Thomas at the Northwich branch. Emma has been extremely professional, responsive and helpful throughout the process of finding our new tenancy and this has helped make what is typically a really stressful process very easy to manage. All of the online systems, e-documents etc. also helped streamline the whole process. We’ve been renting for 15 years now and have moved 4 times in that period, dealing with a number of letting agents in the process. Our experience with Leaders was by far the best.

Use a different letting agent
Utterly useless company. A completely useless cog in a broken machine. My advice is to avoid all letting agencies and deal direct with a landlord but above all avoid Leaders.
* the company is a greedy cash grabber
* staff are lazy and rude
* as with all estate agents they will lie to your face about properties and prices
* lied about the state of the property
* lied about the availability of the house
* constantly hound customers for their data to sell.
Just a nasty company representing people who want to outsource their own specific nastiness.
Avoid at all costs. And I mean that literally too: pay more to avoid using Leaders. I’ve rented for years and dealing with Leaders has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. I will gladly pay more to avoid dealing with Leaders again.
Edit: generic response from the company as expected.
Update: 18 days into the tenancy for a house costing £1200 per month the rented property is still unavailable to live in.
Update x2: Continued terrible property management by Leaders Norwich. A leak was reported and left unfixed for 6 weeks. Took multiple requests and the work was left half completed. House is now filling with mould and frequent electricity cuts as the leak pours directly into the breaker box.
Update x3: It is now May 2023 and the issue is still unresolved. Leaders did send a clown around to stare at a wall covered in mould for a while and that clown announced everything was fine because, you know, they are a clown.
I would sincerely advise both landlords and tenants to avoid using this cowboy company.

Charge for doing a checkout but don’t give you results so don’t even know if they done one I have no idea how this company survives looking at all the terrible reviews it gets but I’m not surprised complete shambles from top to bottom
