DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Waited an entire month for light fixture to be sent. When it finally arrived, and we had it installed, we realized it was broken. Las Sola then refused to send me return information after I emailed with their customer service for over a week. I will be disputing this with my credit card company, as Las Sola has scammed me out of $200.

I couldn’t get tracking information and…

I couldn’t get tracking information and it took over 4 weeks. Once it was time to install the electrican could not install the little narrow box would require extra work because it doesn’t fit normal box. The finish also appeared of low quality.

The item took forever to arrive from…

The item took forever to arrive from china. Actually so long that I had no use for it anymore by the time it finally arrived. The return process is horrible, unnecessarily complicated and designed to discourage customers from returning product. Be prepared to pay return shipping!

Llamp arrived as promised but poor supporting data

Lamp arrived as promised. Installation instructions were for a different lamp and useless!
Electrical code in the US demands black for for hot and white for neutral- lamp had a blue and a red. The attached troubleshoot sheet had a point that stated if the light did not come on the wires could be connected incorrectly.
This is a ceiling mounted lamp and I for one do NOT fancy standing on a 9 foot ladder to troubleshoot electrical connections. after installation with red being the hot connection the lamp lit up fine and we are very pleased looks and the light it gives

Long shipping time and incompatible fixture

I waited several weeks for my light fixture to arrive, only to learn that it is not UL listed and cannot be installed on a typical U.S. electrical box.

The instructions were generic and had nothing to do with the model I received. The fixture was cheaply built, and there was no information about UL ratings or anything to indicate that it is legal for use in the U.S.

You will pay expensive postage to return.

They sent me an email saying my order was on back order. They gave me the option to cancel it or not. I emailed to cancel it. I guess there’s a time lapse for when somebody in Customer Sevice to read their emails. I asked them not to send it. They said it was too late. It had already been shipped. It turns out they were referring to the smaller item I ordered that was only $30. Not this one. Their email was vague.

So, at any rate, when I finally received and opened it, it was not the color pictured at all. It looked like 4 different colors not all shades of orange. The top is red. And in the middle blue, bottom green. It would look good in the garage frankly, which I don’t have.
They said I had to pay for return shipping USPS or UPS. Both places were about over $125. The light was $299.

I would not deal with a company again where you couldn’t return a product without a cheaper way of doing it They ship all the time so they could’ve sent a return label. It’s very cheap for them.

I bumped them up from 1 Star to 2. I did get a discount via PayPal.
