Poor communication, poor service, poor internal systems…all resulting in costs being incurred by client

This is the most seamless process I’ve ever experienced since my history of moving houses in Birmingham. Considering how hectic and frustrating it’s been for me in the past, Mike Scandrett put my mind at ease and talked me through every process, up until receiving the keys to my new place. I’m very happy with their service at Lamont.

Responsive on rent adjustments and very well organized to manage monthly payments and maintenance with limited involvement from my side.

Really unsatisfactory experience

It was actually a very nice experience with Lamont Estates. Gemma provided me with an exceptional service. She was always ready and willing to help at all times. Top management for real.

Overall property was great. But just a little issue with the Ovo energy providers. It was difficult getting meter reading and Ovo overcharged me. Plus ensure you register your parking otherwise will be charged.

However, issues with property were listened to and fixed when needed which was great. I had a heating issues and was fixed as emergency the next day.

I moved into my new apartment on the 3rd of July. My viewing, background check, lease signing and the entire process leading up to pick up of keys was completed within 72 hours. Thanks to the proactive efforts of Mark Scandrett, it was a totally seamless process.

Mark has been absolutely amazing from the very first point of contact & the entire journey of securing a beautiful apartment.

Always helpful, patient, answers all questions and looks into anything I am unsure of.

We had a great experience working with Mark Scandrett. He was extremely patient and helpful, showing us multiple properties and making sure we found exactly what we were looking for. Thanks to his support, we were able to secure the perfect apartment. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our experience in our flat. It had good lighting, a modern kitchen, and large double-glazed windows, ensuring good aeration, especially during the summer. The bathroom is modern and large enough.

The flat also comes with good storage for the price.
I really love the fact that the rooms are painted all white, which keeps the flat bright, especially during winter.

The apartments were located in the heart of Chesterfield, which gave us easy access to shops and the train station (a 10-minute walk). Just opposite the apartment is a coffee shop where I used to go sit, relax, and get some work done.

My only negative comment about the apartment is that the lift breaks down frequently. At the time of my comment, the lift had been fixed, but it is worth inquiring about this when moving in.

For those without mobility issues, I recommend this flat 8/10. If you have mobility issues, please speak with the building manager. I really hope they plan to replace the lift with a more reliable one.

I usually don't write reviews, nor care for them.

But Mark from Lamont LTD is a 10/10 and is a perfect reflection of the efficiency and professionalism I desperately needed for getting an accommodation in Birmingham.

A short story, I was looking for a whole month with a deadline for moving out, rejected by multiple estate agents and treated somewhat poorly as I'm a fresh graduate and new to the work force. However Mark treated me with respect and gave me not only multiple options for living but amazing advice for my complicated living situation.

I am now in an amazing flat share in a beautiful building that he personally made sure was ready for me to move in and checked the apartment thoroughly for an damages.

Marks dedication, care, professionalism and skill towards his job was honestly quite outstanding.

From helping me through the application process when moving in, to any small issues (like when I had no hot water running for days), to helping me sort everything out when it came to moving out. Made it all just a smooth transition. Always responding to emails the moment they're sent, going out of his way to help out. Could not ask for anyone better to help out.
