Saw a lot of animals; great variety, too. Not just elephants. Early is best.

Guide was good, attentive, willing to stop whenever we thought we saw something.

One day safari is much too Long! L’ajoutant should have advised half day!
The food provided by l’ajoutant for lunch was awful, obviously we are not the first one not to touch it...
When I said we wanted to eat the bbq organised for dinner, there were only kind of plastic sausages! We decided to shorted the safari at 1pm and cancel the night in tents ! Everything was a rip-off ! Do avoid lakpura !!!

Great Communication, Straight Forward and easy to book

Used Lakpura to drive me from CMB to Deniyaya and then return 30 days later. The driver was prompt, met me outside of immigration, and drove the 3.5 hours to Deniyaya without incident. On the return, the driver was at the pickup location right on time and made it an easy return to the airport. Transports to Deniyaya from Colombo are difficult and Lakpura made it easy and safe for me. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Decided to book a safari ahead of time to save time and the hassles of organising once in Udawalawe. It wasn't necessary and we paid a little premium by doing so. One main reason I booked ahead was we were to be picked up 30 mins prior from our accommodation. Easy! However, 10 minutes after we were sipposed to be picked up there was still no sign of them. I rang and was asked to meet them at the Park entry. I reminded them the confirmation email stated pick up from our accommodation and they said the driver was on the way. We ended up being 20 mins late and the driver told us they had problems with the jeep. That was clearly not true.
Despite the bad start, the safari was excellent and our driver was well educated on all thr different animals. He made a real effort sensing we were upset at the late start.

Very good attention and assistance in preparing for our vacation in Sri Lanka.

Driver's driving was extremely dangerous, and the city tour of Kandy was non-existent. Time estimation was also not accurate since we were sent to airport 6 hours before our flight. There was no need to start the tour at 7am, not to mention the original proposed 6am.
Otherwise acceptable.

1) Jeep-safari driver tries to "sell us safari-guide". This was not mentioned anywhere in description of the trip?
2) Jeep-safari driver was very poorly speaking English, so we had to guess most of the things.
3) Meals was sold seperately allthough in the latest comunication it was included in the price.
4) Safty onboard jeep was poorly, when we had 3 small kids onboard. We saw several other jeeps with better safty on board. Saftybelts, higher saftybars etc.
We pointed this out at the start, but driver could not help.

We cut the trip short due to the lack of safty.

Unfortunately, the trip did not live up to the standards of the promissed.

Drivers take too many risks - theydrive too close to the vehicle in front and overtake without little safety margin.

In the beginning I did not know how to do it. I wrote an eMai and then it worked very well and I have all I need.

Highlight of Sri Lanka. Tour consultant, Nalinda, was professional and prompt to tailor up our itinerary. Though 5 days wasnt enough to explore the whole of Sri Lanka, it sure made a deep impact for us. Driver was good, the food was good, everything was just perfect :)
