Do not book Riversedge Cottage via Lakeland Retreats
Heating in the property is controlled remotely by the owner. Occupants have no way of regulating the radiators so you are left at the whim of the owners, who appear to take no notice of the requirements of those renting the property. This was a problem in May, so is likely to be a significant problem in colder months.
Lakeland Retreats did not respond to emails asking for changes to be made to the temperature of the radiators and obviously there is no way of contacting the owners.
There is also insufficient hot water to fill more than one bath, despite the property catering for 4 people. Despite following the instructions on the immersion heater the problem could not be rectified.
I will never book with this agent again.
