Paula was so kind during my experience and really helped me on my trip! I was worried I would have to head back home but was able to continue traveling because of her. The process to book was easy as well.

I was working in Copenhagen for a few days and I needed a doctor, I found the service online, booked an appointment online and saw an excellent doctor on the same day.

Quick, knowledgeable and professional

I was in Denmark for a few days and needed to get some medication that I didn't manage to get in time before travelling. I booked an online slot and managed to sort the issue quickly and efficiently. The doctor spoke perfect English and was kind and understanding of the situation.

My experience with Lægerne Danmark has been deeply disappointing.

From the very beginning, the lady at reception showed an absolutely ignorant attitude. She behaved as if we had come to the wrong place—or perhaps even to her private home. She refused to give us any information about our appointment, and her expression made it seem as though we were interrupting her.

My husband and I were left sitting in the corridor with no idea which door belonged to my doctor. It was both unprofessional and embarrassing.

Eventually, I only met the doctor because my back pain was so strong that I decided to knock on a door myself. No one called me in. Although it felt rude to enter without being invited, I had no other choice. The doctor simply said, “You can come in.” I still wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t knocked.

During the consultation, the doctor never looked me in the eyes—she was sitting in front of her computer, searching about my spasm, I suppose.

What shocked me most was that instead of examining me or trying to understand my condition, she asked me: “What do you think you have?” If I knew that, I wouldn’t have come to see a doctor in the first place.

She didn’t check my back, didn’t look at my posture, didn’t conduct a basic examination—nothing. In the end, she simply prescribed the pills that I had mentioned myself. That was the whole “consultation.”

To make matters worse, when I asked for the medical report for my insurance, it took them two weeks and several reminders before I finally received it. Such delays in such a basic request are unacceptable.

Overall, this was not only a waste of time but also a complete failure of professional care and basic respect for patients.

The doctor spoke better English than some of my US doctors. She worked through my medical history and current symptoms with surprising depth for such a short appointment. We discussed treatment options and she clearly explained the differences in Danish vs American options, including the differences in emergency and urgent treatment options.
I hope I never need the service again, but im confident that if I do, I'll get the help I need.

Dr Jakob Fraes Espersen was relatable, has a holistic approach to medicine and wellbeing. Waiting time was not unreasonable.

Really great experience! We needed to do a blood test for our daughter, the doctor was very nice and professional. The test was made very quickly and professionally!

I had a call with one of the doctors from the clinic to schedule an MRI scan which was urgent. The doctor saw me the day after I called which was fast considering Easter holidays.
I explained my issue and he gave me a referral to all the clinics in Copenhagen the next day.
The whole experience was great and I got to do my scan really fast!
I would recommend this clinic any time.
