BEST SERVICE EVER!!

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A THING IF THE PAST... I experienced the Lady Black Tie excellence!

My daughter had tried on several prom dresses in multiple stores, and we were sure of the size. She decided on a dress from the Lady Black Tie website. When she tried it on, it was definitely the most beautiful, but was too small. I shipped the dress back, thinking it was going to take several days to get the exchange. I was nervous because her prom is in a couple of weeks, so I sent an email to inform LBT. To my surprise, LBT responded the same day I shipped the item and had the replacement in the mail the very next day! I will definitely continue to shop here. Their level of service is PRICELESS!

Unresolved Order Issue and Lack of Response

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding order

I mistakenly placed the order and promptly realized my error. I immediately sent an email before confirmation, requesting that the shipment not proceed. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I returned the package, and DHL has confirmed its successful delivery to Lady Black Tie.

Despite numerous attempts to contact you via phone and email over the past month, I have not received any response or acknowledgment. This lack of communication is both frustrating and unacceptable. I would appreciate prompt attention to this matter and a resolution to the issue.

I placed an order by accident (more items were in bag than intended). I reached out to company IMMEDIATELY through email as they did not answer their phone as it was Sunday. Monday at 9:00 I receive an email saying the items shipped out already which is a RIDICULOUS response as it wasn’t even placed until Sunday afternoon and there was no way that a UPS pickup could’ve been scheduled so quick. When I asked for a manager’s contact information to speak to on the matter, the email stopped responding.

This is TERRIBLE customer service and so disappointing. Tried calling multiple times to speak to someone and no one. Again, I understand policy but I reached out immediately to correct the issue.

EDIT: Nowhere did it say you cannot cancel or modify your order according to your policies. For my email, I asked to speak with a manager and did not get any response. I called and the message says to email or call back during business hours. I called back during business hours and still no response.

We apologize for any frustration that has stemmed from our policies and operations. The dresses you ordered had ‘ships out in 1 business day from order’ on them, these get sorted immediately through our warehouse for fast shipping which starts as early as 5 or 6am Monday after a big sales weekend. To achieve the fast shipping for every customer who placed an order, that means we cannot cancel or modify an order after it is placed especially during high volume/peak ordering seasons, sorry about that.
We have not had an active phone line in many years. Our old line is an auto-message that instructs customers to email us for customer service. Calling it repeatedly means you would be hearing the same message over and over instructing you to email us. We see that customer service replied to your email inquiries and provided all relevant information.

Speedy formal dresses

The speed of shipping and exchange processing is outstanding. Nice choices of dresses, but they need to design the slits to be about 4 inches lower on the leg of most of their dresses. They would sell twice as much if they did this.

This place is a scam

This place is a scam. Do not order from here. They do not answer the phone and emails get sent back. I have not received the dress that I ordered almost a week ago. They send their clothes by USPS which is questionable. Now I have to take this further and get my money back or file a suit

This place has the worst customer…

This place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We bought the same dress but two different sizes online. When checking out, there’s a small box that says you agree with the terms although they make it very difficult to find the terms. If I had know I would only get a store credit, I wouldn’t have bought 2 dresses and probably not even one. The dress is too revealing on my daughter and her school has a dress code. It won’t work. I tried calling, which you can’t talk to anyone. I wrote an email and all they did was tell me sorry and stated their terms. I told her again and nothing. No response to my email and won’t leave a number to call. If you are going to have rules like this, then you should make it easy to find the terms. They are like bullies behind keyboards. It’s really too bad. They do have beautiful dresses but never again will I buy a from them. Please make sure you know what you’re getting. They won’t help at all. I’m so disappointed in this company! I only gave them one star because you can not leave zero stars which is what they deserve. Just like their customer service. A big zero!

Worth the ride...

We drove over an hour to Lady Black Tie and feel it was well worth it. The staff was curtious and explained exactly what the process to try dresses on is, as well as, the timeline in the dressing room per person. They were helpful without being pushy. It's not a large expansive boutique, but I think for that reason, it is run effectively and efficiently. It gives anyone going in there a chance to try on dresses without having an hour to 3 hour wait like other similar boutiques. The selection of dresses is great!

My daughter found a dress in a local shop that she loved except she wanted it in red and they didn't have it. She found Lady Black Tie online and saw the exact dress she wanted. We ordered the dress on Wednesday and received it Saturday! It is beautiful, exactly what she was looking for and $60 cheaper through Lady Black Tie!! I must admit, I initially had some reservations about ordering after reading some negative reviews but I'm so glad I went forward with the purchase. The dress is exactly what she wanted, fast shipment, and easy tracking through the USPS tracking number I was provided in my confirmation email. No need to download any app. We will definitely order from this shop in the future!!

absolutely blown away with this company! I've never recieved faster shipping, quality dresses that fit perfectly!! and such a beautiful selection of dresses!
ordered my dress Tuesday night and recieved it Friday morning.
I have an athletic build but extremely large breasts. I fit a size 6 pants and a DDD42 on the top (not a blessing it's a curse)! it's damn near impossible to find a dress forgiving to my bust while also eccentuating my 24 inch waist and 30 inch hips. I bought the Khaleesi dress in steel blue and the Giselle dress in mustard yellow in a size ten. The Khaleesi dress was perfect in a ten because I could also adjust the waist to fit while also giving my breasts a comfortable fit (with some serious side boob action) ! as for the mustard yellow Giselle dress it is a bit tight around the bust but loose around the waist but still looks fantastic and is still comfortable. these dresses aren't stretchy so please pay close attention to the size chart.

Horrible company

Ordered my prom dress 5 weeks before the event and was lied to about the shipment date repeatedly. I contacted them 2 weeks before my prom and told them I needed the dress by the event date and they promised the dress was shipping out that weekend. The dress never arrived and they stopped responding to me. At the last minute I had to buy a another dress for my prom or miss it and the worst part is that they shipped the dress after the prom and now I’m stuck with it.

Stay away from this company or you will be sorry like I was .

****UPDATE: More Lies, I responded to LadyBlackTie through Trust Pilot and provided my full name with order number and never received a reply. SO DECEITFUL

Very disappointed to have received another customer’s invoice and dress. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it (no return label) and wait for store credit to get the $140 dress I paid for.

I appreciate the fast shipping, but I would have rather waited another week if it meant receiving what I ordered!

Update: mistakes happen. I’ve been given a return label and my dress will be shipped today. Thank you. Excellent customer service!
