Recently returned from 2 amazing trips with LWT. The first was to Albania where I experienced white water rafting & tubing down a wild river canyon. The second was a sailing trip around the Croatian islands from Split to Dubrovnik. The scenery was breathtaking, the ladies I met were amazing all with their own stories & the hosts were excellent. I would give the company & the experiences 10 stars if I could. The ethos of the company should be celebrated & commended. I would totally recommend this company & the amazing experiences that they offer from adventure to relaxing with something for everyone. What a wonderful community of ladies, fabulous travel with interesting itineraries all organised &Co- ordinated in an orderly fashion.

Returned on Tuesday from my second LWT holiday, this time sailing in Croatia. A few of us ladies from Wales decided to spend two nights in Dubrovnik before boarding the boat and two nights in Split at the end of the trip. There is plenty of accommodation choice on ABNB, just be sure to stay in a central location.
The week spent sailing along the beautiful Croatian coastline was everything I thought it would be. Daily swim stops, then mooring overnight in a different port and a chance to get off and explore the area and sample lovely meals along with 🍷and 🍹. Some evenings we eat as one large group, others smaller groups did their own thing!
The boat is lovely, very well maintained and comfortable. Cabins have twin beds and are compact but have adequate space with an en-suite shower room. Breakfast and lunch is prepared by the chef who makes up one of the five crew members. The crew work hard to cater for the ladies on board and Tommy was always on hand for bar service. Drinks are a reasonable price.
Emma our lovely host was always available for any questions and ensured we knew each day’s itinerary.
As always lovely to listen to the other ladies story’s, some have experienced bereavement, divorce and are navigating a different way of life. Others had husbands/ partners but they don’t enjoy the same sort of holidays.
The concept of this group is fabulous as it encourages and enables many of the ladies to form new friendships, find themselves again together with a renewed confidence that actually, the world is their oyster!
Five of us Welshies enjoyed each other’s company so much we have booked Budapest for December.
If you are thinking about this trip I would highly recommend it!

After 4 years of caring for my mother and travelling on my own, (my husband does not want to travel anymore) I felt I needed a holiday with likeminded people and have been looking at Ladies Who Travel for a while and decided this type of holiday was just what I was looking for. I cannot explain how much I enjoyed this holiday. I was in my happy place each and every day. This group of ladies were all strangers but we all came with a mindset to be kind, make an effort to join in and just have a good time. I made friends for life on this trip. We were lucky enough to have Shareen on this trip with us. She made sure we were all made to feel welcome and included. There were no cliques. You sat chatting to whoever you wanted to, you joined whichever group you wanted to for the evening meals or walks ashore. I definitely recommend Ladies Who Travel and the boat crew for the Croatia 4 July trip.

Such a truly wonderful experience which exceeded my expectations. The boat, crew, food, organisation was 100%. The islands are all so stunning. I can honestly say I loved the trip and will definitely do it again.

I am just home from the Croatian island hopping trip from split to Dubrovnik, this trip was better than anything I anticipated, the boat and crew were fantastic we could not have asked for more. The island’s beautiful and being with 27 like minded ladies was great fun. Always someone to chat with or have time out if you wish.. but the best has to be the swim stops everyday. Shareen made everything very easy from booking through to making a safe place for us all to enjoy, happy to give advice and chat anytime but equally happy to let you read that book and have 40winks xx

I arrived back last week from my first trip with Ladies That Travel, not knowing a single person. I came home having made friends for life.

Sailing around Croatia on a traditional boat. Fabulous swim stops each day and a new port every evening.
From start to finish, everything was perfect. The boat and crew couldn't do enough for us, and the food was absolutely sensational.

Shareen was a fantastic host—always helpful and full of great tips and suggestions. A huge thank you to her for all the time, effort, and passion she puts into making this community as successful and welcoming as it is.

I definitely won't be sitting on the sidelines now! I'm already looking forward to Iceland in December and can't wait for my next adventure with this amazing group.

I have recently returned from Croatia with Ladies Who Travel. What an amazing trip it was. I met so many wonderful people who I know will be friends going forward. The trip itself was outstanding, far better than I thought possible. We had a fantastic host, Shareen herself, who was amazing and so knowledgeable on the islands we visited. The crew were brilliant, couldn’t do enough for us and learned all our names in the first day or so. I learned how to paddleboard, something I never thought I’d have the opportunity to do. I loved every minute of it. If you have any doubts just book it, you won’t be disappointed! 😊

One of the most amazing times of my life. Met the most fabulous ladies. Everyone has to try Shareen’s LWT trips, she has made such great research on what us ladies want, she achieved all my expectations and above. Can’t wait for my next one to Bali 😘💕🥰

Just returned from my 2nd trip with Ladies Who Travel.
I have had the most amazing time.
Shareen researches the holidays and has the knack of knowing what us ladies want in a holiday.
Scenic Croatia was beautiful. The great boat we were on, it was, comfortable, the friendly crew, Good food, Swimming from the boat using snorkels,swimming noodles,rubber rings,Paddle boards all at our disposal. Ladies all different but like minded. A perfect combination for a perfect holiday filled with laughter

Just come back from sailing around Croatia had a fabulous time with the Ladies. Highly recommend any woman who’s scared to travel alone to book with Ladies Who Travel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, This is my third trip with them and won’t be my last.

Our Croatia sailing trip was amazing.
The Croatian scenery itinerary and boat was amazing. Very obliging crew who really couldn’t do enough for us.
Shareen Geers is the perfect host who encouraged us to try water sports such as paddle boarding and canoeing.

I booked this Croatian island hopping trip with some trepidation as I was striking out alone. I needn't have worried! This wonderful trip exceeded any expectations and I was welcomed into a group of supportive, like-minded women. We travelled together through spectacular scenery, swam in the clearest blue seas, ate fantastic food, made dear friends and laughed. Shareen was lovely and helpful, planning great opportunities for stepping outside our comfort zone. All optional 😁
I highly recommend Ladies Who Travel and can't wait to join them again.

My latest trip to Albania with LWT was unsurprisingly fabulous, as have all the other trips I’ve been part of. But what was an unexpected surprise was how beautiful Albania itself is with its rolling lush green mountains and rivers. It truly was beautiful.

Seventeen wonderful ladies formed part of our group which was hosted by the lovely Emma Hopkins, a very accommodating lady who aimed to make sure we were having a good time.

As with all LWT trips, it was full steam ahead with early morning starts to make sure we got to our destinations in good time to start the days fun activities!

Our first intended hike (albeit in a thunderstorm at the top of a mountain!) didn’t quite get off the ground as planned but we all saw the funny side and embraced the rain which was a blessing and helped to cool us all down.

Tubing and white water rafting were the highlights of the week and we had so much fun being carried down the river by the currents. Not one person didn’t take part despite some anxiousness from a couple of ladies, everyone showed great camaraderie in support of each other.

The beautiful cobbled town of Beret was worth the lengthy coach journey, where we stayed for two nights. The town, all lit up on an evening, was stunning and was so much bigger than I thought. A great place to return to one day.

Gjirokastër was another similarly beautiful cobbled town with fabulous Mountain views. This would have been a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights but instead we stayed in the mountainside of Permet. Whilst this was set in a stunning location overlooking the mountains, with an incredible sunset, the hotel didn’t seem quite ready to host 18 mature ladies and their demands!

The size of this group made it easy to get to know each other a little and remember everyone’s name, just!

The people of Albania were, on the whole, extremely friendly and accommodating and food and drink were inexpensive.

The experience at the airport was a little chaotic, seemingly disorganised and lots of flights going out at similar times, but another airport is being built apparently no doubt to cater for the expected increase in tourism.

If you are prepared to take a coach or are up for the drive, these beautiful towns and fun activities are worth giving up your time to see and do.

Just back from my first LWT trip to Albania and loved it - great bunch of ladies (17 total) with Emma as the loveliest host, good though very busy itinerary and lovely hotels. The highlight for me was the rafting! Tubing also immense fun, but the Osum Canyon river was shallower than normal due to lack of rain, so wasn’t always so free-flowing and my backside got wedged in rocks a couple of times 😂. The Albanian people are warm and very lovely, Tirana seems an attractive, safe and lively city and Claudian our tour guide was a delight. An impromptu visit to Durres, a coastal town approx 25 miles from Tirana was a lovely way to end our last clear day for contrast (and a cocktail!) to the inland towns/villages, mountains and rivers we had enjoyed during the week. Thank you Shareen - it was an invigorating trip, again, with a great bunch of ladies. X

My sister and I have recently returned from the Albania trip . We were at the outset a little apprehensive as this was our first trip with LWT . We soon realised there was no need for concern, from the moment we arrived we were enveloped in a cocoon of warm, friendly caring, ladies with a fabulous host.
We were slightly worried about the tubing and white water rafting activities as they were a first for us both , again encouraged and uplifted by the group it was a breeze and we came out with a real sense of achievement.
All accommodation was clean and suitable for our needs .
Emma the host was warm and welcoming and solution focused when things didn’t got exactly according to plan . Her hosting style bonded the group and she personally added to the activities by facilitating a Pilates session on the roof top terrace at one of the hotels.
We have come back with many new friends and have our next trip booked . Hoping it will be a fabulous as this one but that will be hard to beat . Albania is fantastic and I look forward to returning again.

Well that’s trip no3 done with LWT. Albania 🇦🇱 did not disappoint. Beautiful scenery and very friendly people. Another week of fun and laughter with fabulous ladies. Loved the tubing and the rafting. It’s activities like this I love doing with others and would probably never venture out to do this on my own. 4th trip already booked for the Artic next year but I’m sure there will be time for another before then 🥰

Albania was absolutely beautiful and we went to some very unspoilt places.
The mountains were incredible and had made me want to come back.

I will never forget watching the girls cannonballing off of the cliffs and white water rafting through the wild rivers.
Cannot wait for the September trip to Croatia!
