The Best UK Hosting Company!
By far the best hosting company I've used over the past 15 years. The customer support is prompt, and they are always extremely helpful & knowledgeable about any issues.
I also found the interface in the admin section straightforward and easy to use, along with the cpanel access which gives you complete control over your websites and hosting.

I'm just setting up a new website with a new url and there were a couple of wee glitches (I'm not techie so probably something I did or didn't do). Sorted almost immediately by the customer support team. Worth every penny!

Not good if your wanting to automate your hosting business
I signed up to Krystal because they promote themselves as a premium UK host with good support, but my experience using their reseller hosting with WHMCS (a paid add-on) has been very disappointing.
I ran into a problem where WHMCS was not pulling the correct WHM reseller package names from the WHM API. This is a basic, essential part of running a hosting business — WHMCS automation depends on it. Instead of investigating the issue properly, support kept repeating the same workaround: “Just type the package name manually.”
This is not a real solution. WHMCS is not free — it is an add-on that Krystal charges extra for, so I expect the integration to actually work, not require manual hacks. When you’re paying for an automation system, being told to bypass the automation isn’t acceptable.
What frustrated me most was the lack of proper technical investigation. They didn’t check:
• The reseller ACL permissions
• The WHM API token permissions
• Whether WHMCS could access the API endpoint
• Whether the API was returning the correct package list
• Whether my account was configured as a proper reseller
Instead, I was given the fastest possible answer to get the ticket closed, even though the issue affects my ability to run a hosting business.
Krystal might be fine for basic shared hosting, but in my experience their reseller support is not suitable for anyone who needs reliable WHM/WHMCS integration. When a company charges extra for WHMCS, the support should match the product — not rely on quick fixes.
Unless their reseller support improves, I’ll be moving to another provider that understands reseller hosting and WHMCS properly.
Ticks all the boxes
We've been using Krystal since 2017 and haven't seriously looked at alternatives because there's no need to. Excellent support, efficient, quick and polite. Great packages and very flexible but with superb prices.

a) I wish the onboarding was a little less complicated (figured it all out now).
... The 3 separate login areas/screens initially confused me:-

... In 2024, I tested each of Top 10 Reviewed on Trustpilot.
1. I looked up the Top 10 reviewed Hosting Providers on Trustpilot.
2. Then, I compiled an email of 10 most common issues I've experienced over the last 15years.
3. I sent that email to the Top 10.
4. Krystal were the only ones to reply with a VERY reassuring support perspective
... ie.They gave a proper answer/paragraph for each of my listed issues 🤩
5. Others gave a 'single generic' or 'vague' answer (not itemised response), or, even worse 'didn't respond at all' 🤷♂️
1 YEAR LATER, MY FINDINGS WHILST WITH THEM ...

... I was paying £75pcm for less product via 34sp.com (they used to be great back in 2010. Now: less support, new problems every quarter, lack of attention to detail).
I moved to Krystal's 'Infinity' package @ £1,258.00 Biennially - BTW. I got a local council grant to restart my business.
FEATURES & USABILITY
Tonnes of features that I've not seen altogether elsewhere + the usability is pretty good.
Via cPanel + Softaculous, you get way more than you'll probably ever need.
SPEED & RELIABILITY
My package makes use of Lightspeed server-side caching which apparently, according to many other YouTubers out there, is second to none!
ENVIRONMENTALLY IMPRESSIVE
They use "100% renewable energy from the sun, wind, and sea". They don't rely on "offsets", but ensure "operations are directly powered by clean energy wherever possible".
They "prioritise working with data centre partners who share our sustainability values".
All-in-all: Loving it.
