Waiting them since November 2025 to…

Waiting them since November 2025 to come and fix my glass fiber connection that still doesn't work since November 2025. The contractor after months of giving appointments and not showing, giving appointments and then post pone it of 4 weeks at the time it's now refusing to come and do the job. This is illegal according to the telecuminications act.
Already reported them to the ACM and will escalate it to the degeschillencommissie.

Dont make the same mistake I did…

Dont make the same mistake I did…
The fiber Connection is worse them my phone’s hotspot… the wifi in their moden doesnt cover a 50m2 appartment.. And yes, it is placed in the center of the house…

KPN is nice until you sign a contract! After that, you will have to wait for them to fulfill their promisses whenever they want… Not based on the information you get when u sign, and pay the first bill…
When I sign tv and internet package they promissed that I would get a TV “as a welcome gift” 14 days after my package started… Guess what… It has been 3,5 weeks, and the attendent on the phone just told me, it will “probably” come in the next 5 to 6 days, when I wont be home as they told me it would be here in 2 weeks not 4-4,5!! Zeroooo, RESPECT for the customer, RUDE ON THE PHONE! They basically dont give a F….(period)

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever
Worst service ever, I'm made a mistake and moved to KPN, since less than 10 days ago. First 3 days no internet at all, following 7 days the internet is down at least 3 times a day. I'm still under the cool-off period, I called KPN to cancel my subscription, they say that I will get a reply within 5 days (i feel it's a trap).

Worst experience with KPN

The only way to end your subscription by KPN is to call them, and apparently that does not work as well.

I called them to cancel my subscription, and after all interrogation asking me to stick to KPN, the guy accepted my cancellation request. After two months of cancellation, I noticed I have been still receiving bills from KPN. Apparently, they did not process my cancellation.

I called them again, saying that my cancellation is not done & I am still being charged. They blamed me, that it is my mistake and I have no proof of cancellation.

I am so glad I ended my contract with KPN. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Ever!

KPN workers cut my fiber cable

I am an Odido customer. My fiber cable was accidentally cut by KPN workers. And I have been without internet for 42 days and I don't know when it will be fixed. KPN broke the cable and takes no responsibility.

Believe me, one Star is a lot!

This is my six-month experience with the KPN network. My service provider was Odido, which is even worse in providing services. They borrowed a fiberglass connection from KPN, but it was broken underground in the street. KPN found this problem after "three appointments" and after three months!!
(I said I am not going into a lot of details; otherwise, I would have to explain their technicians' behaviour and how they left my house without providing an explanation of what they did and what would happen next.)
After three appointmenrs!!!, they waited for a street cable map for two months, a map whic which was absolutely unnecessary. Then, they sent another technician who informed me that he couldn't find the location of the problem. They scheduled another appointment but canceled it without notifying me. (I have already taken a leave from home for that day, Imagine how frustrated I became!)

After six months and numerous angry calls, they finally sent a very skilled technician to solve the problem. He was highly professional, identified the issue, and promptly resolved it.

Racists and a'holes

What a bad bad company. First, a technician comes into my home for a repair and starts spewing racism unprovoked, and then an employee specifically calls me after i cancel my subscrption only to hang up in my face. I would get you out of business if i had the power, because these are not incidents. These actions reflect company policy.

Recently they canvased whole street to…

Recently they visited home and convinced whole street to switch from Ziggo to KPN promising 1Gbps speed via fiber optic. As per that we swtiched to KPN and the speed we received was 80mpbs. When complained and asked engineer to visit they refused and asked 75 Euro for 45 mins. This is really a scam, once the sales done their part service does not care anymore.

Unprofessional and unhelpful

They came to dig a trench for Fibre, completely destroyed garden and left an absolute mess, plants and pathway destroyed.

Do not trust this company to do anything right and they contract the work out to the cheapest bidder and then ignore complaints.

The ticket for installing my fibber…

The ticket for installing my fibber glass (already cable inside the house) waiting for one year. After they installed and internet was running via fibber glass, they forgot to close the ticket in their own system. Fibber glass internet just suddenly stopped after one and a half months. Calling them and being told that I don't have fibber glass internet at my address according their system. The technician will be send in 3 weeks time. Most likely will discover that they have mixed up cables(again) in the main connection box of the building.

Amazingly incompetent

Amazingly incompetent. I've been trying for six months to get fiberoptic internet installed, and still nothing. We scheduled three visits for the fiber installers--the first time they just never showed up. The second time they said my house was hard to reach because it's on the first floor (not that hard). The third time they came out and finally got the fiber up into my house, but they only installed the FTU (little white box that has no plugs to connect to; another box has to go over it to connect the modem to), so I couldn't connect the modem to it. I called more than ten times and kept getting bounced from KPN Network to KPN and back, both of them saying it was the other company that I needed. Sometimes I got bounced back and forth three times in the same day. I've spent over an hour and a half on the phone just today, talking with seven different people from both companies. Eventually I just gave up and canceled the service, but they started billing be before the service was even installed! (Which is illegal, by the way.)

Pure incompetence

How is it possible that such an incompetent company is in charge of the fiber-optic infrastructure and installation in NL? I understand that they have too many customers for their company to deal with. They need to fix this. I seriously have been busy more than a year trying to get fiber-optics installed in my flat. Even with a "time out" because I just couldn't take it any more. Can I sue them for psychological damage and wasting so much of my time? Let me try categorize their incompetence:

1] The current monteur has absolutely no clue what the last monteur has done. Yes you can end up with monteurs coming and saying something else needs to be fixed first, by a monteur of the same company, and each one saying the same thing. This is no joke. I'm not talking about a mix up with kpn provider. No, kpn-netwerk is unable to communicate with kpn-netwerk. Monteurs of kpn-netwerk telling me other wires/connections first need to be installed by other monteurs of kpn-netwerk and so the cycle continues: each monteur not knowing anything about the current status.

2] I mentioned kpn-provider above, because this is my internet provider. What type of information does kpn-provider get from kpn-netwerk? 'That everything is ready to go and working'. Yes you wouldn't believe it. I've had a couple of kpn monteurs here from the provider, unable to do anything because of no connection.

And kpn netwerk refuses to do anything without an 'opdracht' from the a telecom provide. It's absolutely insane. The absence of actual fiber optic wire to an appartment they dont consider incomplete work, but a 'storing' that the provider has to deal with.

Fiberoptic wire running through the 'meterkast' of my apartment without any branch to connect with, they dont consider incomplete work but a 'storing' that the provider first have to deal with.

Seriously how incompetent is this company? How incompetent is their workflow?

3] And where are we in september 2022, more than a year later since my tragic encounter with kpn-netwerk? Work now apparently is outsourced to "Roamler-kpn". I'm unable to make any appointment with a monteur. I first got an email to make an appointment online- there was a nice booking system with not one single available slot for a appoinment for the coming year. After a few weeks I looked again and did manage to make an appointment. This was cancelled by them. The next appointment was also cancelled by them. In both emails blatant lies that they tried to call me. I mean how tech-stupid are they to think customers wont know whether they have been called by them? I know its just a small stupid lie, in their standard automized emails, but illustrating again just how incompetent kpn-netwerk is.

--
Lets face it, for kpn-netwerk the customers arent people. It's a failed automized system they have which doesn't care about the customer and does everything to block feedback from them. 1 star is seriously too much. Should be -4 stars for the damage inflicted.

UPDATE: so a monteur from Roamler came, and ofcourse was unable to fix the problem. I was told KPN netwerk could only fix it. What a complete waste of time. Why is kpn netwerk outsourcing jobs to Roamler, that only they can fix? Kpn netwerk = beyond insanity.

Update 25 april 2023. I'm glad to announce that twee weeks ago I finally had a fiberoptic connection. Sadly none today, with the alarm light on. Kpn netwerk ofcourse refuses to do a thing. First a monteur from the provider has to come by and do nothing. What is this all about? The provider can do nothing to solve the fiber optic connection. Absolutely crazy. But then again 'crazy' does pretty much summarize kpn netwerks organization.

*There is one more annoyance to add about this company. And that is the 'threat' that the old telephone adsl connection will be terminated. It basically says that in places where there is a fiber optic connection, the adsl connection will be removed. But kpn-netwerk lies about where the fiberoptic connection is working. I've been trying get a fiberoptic connection in my flat for 2+ years without succes. And you know kpn -network has a 'postcode check' to see whether the fiber optic connection is available and working at a location. For this whole time it has indicated it is working and available in my flat. Even without physically having a fiber optic connection going to my flat.
Insane company and kpn provider is not any better.
