I use komoot aldeady for more than five years and there was no problem over 120 toures I have planned.
Nevertheless I had to get used to several changes in the menue / user interface / handling of the APP .
I hope this will not happen too often in the future

Very comprehensive tour descriptions. Training is required to be able to use all the helpful features of the app.

Very useful app for creating routes, but sometimes editing routes is erratic. However , it is still my preferred tool. Also, an excellent source of routes created by other adventurers. If you do use them, be sure to turn off, “use original route only”, so if you go of route it directs you back to the route.

I experienced a problem after extending my Premium plan via Google Play: neither using premium functions nor re-subscription worked.
After a few messages collecting the data by the AI support agent, human intervention solved the problem in a very competent and prompt manner. Thank you very much!

Long time member, regularly use it to explore and navigate cycling 🚴 routes.

Would have given 5 star but for annoying pop ups keep popping up trying to sell me more options and having to log on to start using which means without internet or WiFi you can’t log on

Komoot was amazing now they have removed the touring bike focus which was its original core focus and also added lots of confusion buttons because yhey use stupid code once tool sets because they do not understand that you must code natively for Android and iPhone separately because the user interface of each platform has diametrically opposing buttons and interface. This causes the App to literally ABUSE their users because the idiots making the code once tools think they know how to make mobile apps better than Apple and Google. Yhe banks did thd same thing for years but eventually they learned to stop abusing customers.

Route planning - a lot of work (found hostels with Copilot), and somewhere it did not get saved. Have to start again. Why not make a route plan for me, if I can give begin- and endpoint (and max distance of 28 km between hostels)?

I love the way how Komoot made may Garmin Venu3 usable. Without Komoot map it will be overpriced crap.
I still do not have the complete offline maps (I hate the subscription models).
The same way it helps with the navigation with the Panasonic motor on my e-bike.

easy to use, reliable, with many routes and new tracks to visit new places. Highly recommended

Komoot makes really nice routes and is pretty reliable not to send a race bike in the woods.
Only bummer is the high battery usage

Great app with functionality specific to bikers and hikers. It sometimes sends you to surprising or inaccessible places, but this is part of the fun

I‘m missing the possibility to choose fir instance “close loop and go to starting point”

The annual fee is very high. To high vor the time-to-time user.
And the standard picture upload is not useful.
