Bought multiple lights from Klarako

Bought multiple lights from Klarako. Only one of them has been lost in shipment but the replacement that lamp with a new one immediately. It has been about 4 months since I purchased from them and I'm loving my lights. They get all the compliments.

Crystal Lantern came in 2 weeks

Crystal Lantern came in 2 weeks. lovely lamp, got the gold color. It lasts fairly long compared to my other lamps. Customer service was a little slow to reply but they got back to me eventually has worked out great us.

Faulty Item, Awful Customer Support

I purchased 4 of Klarako’s crystal lamps for $420. One of them has stopped working despite being properly recharged. I reached jut to customer service to ask if there was any tech support or suggestions and received a short email explaining that since my items had been delivered over 30 days ago, there is no support available. Surely this does not comply with the Fair Trades Act? One would assume that for something worth over $100 would have a much longer warranty than 30 days. I think this is business is a scam and would not recommend others making purchases from them.

I bought 3 of these lamps

I bought 3 of these lamps. Like some other people I had bought as gifts for Christmas so the 30 day guarantee expired. I foolishly thought that a higher price would translate to higher quality.
The lamp turns itself on & changes colours and brightness.
The $30 lamp my husband bought works just fine.

Poor Customer Service

Product arrived as expected and looked good. However they stopped working after a few weeks.
As they were a Christmas present, they were unopened for 2 months, so we had no warranty. The manual clearly states they have a 1 year warranty, but the website says 30 days.
The company told us they were going to do nothing, same as what everyone else on this website has experienced.
Any reviews here saying they are good at customer service are obviously fake.
The product is rubbish.

Update as at 15th Feb.
Klarako contaced me, full of apologies and saying they would refund me, based on my bad experience. To their credit, I have been refunded in full.

These guys are a scam

These guys are a scam. As most people on here only 1 lamp worked and they refused to help in anyway. They have terrible customer service and clearly get shoddy products from China and can’t fix them if they’re wrong so just fob you off.

Faulty product

Faulty product. Horrible (or nonexistent customer service). Not refunded. I bought two lamps as gifts after trying one out for myself. They were faulty with malfunctioning electronics and then wouldn’t replace as it was past the 30 day period. Very expensive mistake. Garbage product.

Defective

Defective, poor quality!!! One of two lamps stopped working, customer service refused to replace or repair. Offered no refund saying I was past the initial 30 day period, (purchased in december 2023)
Such a shame, I actually liked the Crystal Lanterns! too bad the company is selling such poor quality, no wonder soo cheap, but was at least expecting working condition! Avoid buying these at any cost

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. They do two things well: post to instagram, and take your money. What they do not do: send you anything you pay for, provide any customer service. Their 30-day guarantee is a sham. This is a ship direct from China operation. Avoid - and tell your friends.

Looking at our system it says you ordered the Luminous Elegance lamp on the 4th of December and received it on the 13th of December. It was delivered to your front porch as shown on the tracking page of the courier service we used. Our 30-day guarantee is exactly that, a guarantee for a full money's refund if you would like to do so within the 30 day period. Please let us know what exactly has happened here so we can offer some sort of solution.

BEWARE - KLARAKO LAMPS - SCAM

I ordered 2 Prism Glow Lamps from Klarako on November 4. These lamps were part of a Christmas present for my wife. These lamps are described as crystal glass on the Klarako website. When delivered, I did not open the boxed lamps, but immediately wrapped them for Christmas.

On Christmas Day, my wife opened the lamps and that is when we discovered that the lamps were in fact not crystal glass, but rather plastic.

I immediately contacted Klarako requesting the information that I would need to return the lamps for a refund. Klarako Customer Service informed me that my request to return the lamps was outside of their 30 day return policy. I explained that the lamps were Christmas gifts – and that the lamps had not been opened prior to Christmas. I also noted that the lamps were not crystal glass as noted on their website, but rather plastic.

Klarako has refused to accept these lamps back or to issue me a refund. I am filing this complaint due to the deceptive description on the Klarako website – re: crystal glass when the lamps are clearly made of plastic.

scam

Lights arrive in a thin bag susceptible to damage. Their returns process is a joke. I lost the money paid for the lamps as well as the shipping I paid to send them back. Scam.

Delighted with the lamps

Like another reviewer I was afraid this was a scam after I placed the order. However I just received the lamps and they did not disappoint, really nice product. The delivery tracking feature on the website was also very useful

Beware of poor customer service.

Beware of poor customer service.
I ordered two lights which took a very long time to ship from China (over a month from order)
When they arrived I didn't like them so arranged a return. I didn't realise that the return would be to the U.S and not free. It cost me £28 to return. Tracking indicates they received the return over two weeks ago and I still haven't received a refund from them. A very expensive mistake purchase.

I have now received the refund for the lights but I was not reimbursed the £28 that it cost to return. I had emailed you proof of postage and tracking information and so please do reimburse this cost to me. Thank you

Hi Melissa - the videos that we require is mandatory because we need proof that what you are saying is true. If we didn't have this proof - any customer could claim a broken light. This is also written on our product page and checkout page as a requirement for return. Its the only fair way we can reimburse customers who honestly did not like their lights or recieved a faulty unit. We do offer return shipping and also pay for it on our customers behalf - please if you have not yet recieved your refund, contact our support email as we'd like to reimburse you right away for this pain mistake.
