I’ve been hosting with Kinsta, and the experience has been consistently disappointing.
They’ve had multiple large outages, some lasting hours, and every time it happens they seem more interested in passing the buck than taking ownership.
There’s never any meaningful explanation, never any accountability, and certainly no compensation for the downtime their customers are left dealing with.
The final straw was when I asked for contact details for their CEO so I could escalate my complaint. I was flat-out told *no*.
If a company won’t even allow a customer to escalate a serious issue, that tells you everything you need to know about how they operate.
If you rely on uptime and expect a hosting provider to stand behind their service, look elsewhere. Kinsta isn’t it.

Dean did an amazing job. Our site had stopped performing and the cause was not at all obvious. He could have told me to "go talk to the plugin developers" but instead he found a work-around that got the site up and running and gave me the information i needed to help the plugin developer fix the problem. Additionally while we were talking he answered all my questions about our sites performance. What a great experience!

I regret not making the change to Kinsta sooner. It's 555x better than any hosting I've ever used, everything is so seamless, the traffic handling is out of this world, and the support is unmatched. Kinsta saves me time, money, and headaches with best-in-class hosting and real technical support. For the price, it's much better than saving a few dollars elsewhere. I returned to Kinsta after trying many different managed WordPress hosts. I came back because I could cancel a bunch of plugins I used to make my experience more like Kinsta. I was spending money to save money and getting a lesser result. WordPress can be complicated, so working with a host that can make problems disappear is worth it.

Vernice was very knowledgeable. She immediately saw that there was a complicated issue, that all the settings were correct, and that there was an issue on their back end. She did not ask many questions - rather, she was able to figure out herself that there was a problem. She was then able to fix it using tools on her end. We needed to finish origin hardening on our platform and he delivered: POST-only rate limiting on login/register/reset, explicit edge/CDN cache bypass for auth pages, and an origin method allowlist. He explained each step, tested from a non-allowlisted IP, shared headers/logs as proof, and escalated when needed. Zero downtime, zero guesswork. Exactly the partner you want when security matters.
