I can't believe I didn't see these reviews before making my purchase. A couple of the write ups on this site about how bad their tree is are word for word what I would have said. This $700 tree is crap. It's made of plastic, hardly any lights, you can't even see the ornaments when the tree is lit. Its so fake in appearance, I'm embarrassed to have it in my living room. Before I decorated it my daughter said "SHIP IT BACK", I said it's too late, I just took it out of the box and the trash has been picked up! Also, when I go to the website you can't click on the reviews. This tree shows 4.5 stars and there is no way that is the truth. I am sick about my $700 waste of money. King of Christmas??? Another bad Chinese ran company. I had a cheap one that the lights went out on but it was so beautiful and real looking. I purchased it at MJ Designs. I will donate this tree and purchase a new one from them after Christmas.
I love my tree! I ordered the 7’ Noble Fir for its realistic look, and I couldn’t be more impressed. It looks so real! I’ve paired it with my Twinkly lights and it’s absolutely perfect. Website was easy to navigate, my order shipped same day and arrived 2 days later.
Poor quality, absolutely not what I had hoped for. I bought the tree early this year and I wish I would have opened it and return right away. I was speechless putting together the tree-cheapest quality and poorly made. I wish I read true reviews before buying from this company. Lesson learnt
Bought a King of Christmas tree last year. It came with bent boughs. Didnt have the time to send it back. Used the bent bough, almost broke boughs on the christmas tree. This year the sprigs are falling off when i go to fluff it gently. Dont recommend buying a artificial tree from King of Christmas. I am a single mom so this is horrible. Run to Michaels or Target for a tree, absolutely do not spend your money here!! They will not give you a refund, or make things right, no matter what the website says. My tree literally wobbles in the middle, side to side, and I was told this is NORMAL for an artificial tree! REALLY!?!? I have 2 other small and inexpensive trees in my house that do NOT do that. So, spend $800 on a tree and expect it to wobble?!?! That's insane, and no where in the description. All the customer service rep wants to do is recite their policy, not help or care. And just for the record, I did reach out to them within the 30 day return period, but since their replacement part they sent came outside of that time frame, and I called to let them know it didn't help, I am now OUTSIDE the return/refund period. And I was told they consider the matter closed. So I have a wobbly tree that I don't feel comfortable putting ornaments on - great.
Bought a 10 foot prelit tree from King of Christmas in 2020 and was happy with it at first. We didn’t put it up in 2021 due to remodeling. We used it for the holiday season 2022 with no problems. However, after using the tree only twice, when we went to put it up in 2023 the top section would not light.
When I contacted the company they told me I was out of warranty and since the technology changed I couldn’t buy a replacement part. Basically they told me to go pound sand after using an $800 tree only twice for maybe a total of 8 weeks. And it’s not fixable. The bulbs are permanently attached and not replaceable, which means eventually these trees will crap out on you and there will be nothing you can do. I’m my mind this is a new tree, now I’m faced with the reality of having to buy another one after just having spent hundred of dollars on this one.
Do not buy from them, they don’t make quality things that last and they offer no solutions when things stop working. 1 star all the way.
Tried to cancel and they claimed it was already shipped. Got the tree in two boxes very heavy and now that I’m trying to return it they are charging me a $150-200 for shipping cost. Never again! Scam at its best.
The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. (Not the people, but their procedures) The tree is beautiful. I spent way more than I should have, thinking it would last forever. Wrong! Bought it in Oct 2021 and by November 28, 2023 the top half was not lighting up. We were 6wks out from the 2 year warranty. For a product that was up for 8weeks they give a 2 year warranty and don't offer any other options to fix it. Not even if you wanted to pay to fix it. If you're thinking about buying a tree from this company I would recommend saving your money and going to Sam's or Costco. I was really disappointed because it was such a beautiful tree. Crazy how King of Christmas doesn't stand behind their work. I guess they know how bad it is too! : )
Have two year old flocked tree, flocking turned brown and they will not warranty, blame item being subjected to humidity. Item has always been stored in side.
We spent the extra money on this tree expecting it to last many years, poor quality and warranty.
Bought a open box tree that showed a cost of 449.00 at 50% off. GREAT DEAL RIGHT??? Tree was not as good as one we bought at another vendor for 100.00. QUALITY was terrible, Looked like a Charlie Brown's version. Really don't recommend buying a tree from this company.
I bought this tree last year as I wanted to splurge and buy a high quality tree that would last for years. I put it away in the bag provided in a cool dry place for the past 10 months and when I went to put it up today, the whole bottom level hinges on the branches would not hold up…they are hanging down and cannot be raised, rendering the tree useless. I sent an email detailing this to King Of Christmas and they replied that that do not cover “ negligence “ in their warranty. How horrifying that is to say to a customer who spent good money and took good care of the tree. It’s disgusting customer service. I will now go to Walmart and get one that will last. Don’t buy from King of Christmas…

I purchased an open box prince flocked tree. No where did they said open box means old outdated model.
The tree i received was an older model with foot pedal only no remote control.. 4 light settings instead of the 8 settings and for the different sections to light i have to look for the wire when it's advertised that it has power pole technology so it's supposed to light once you put the sections on.
Called and emailed customer service multiple times they finally sent me out a new foot pedal that will give the 8 lighting settings and the remote. And the foot pedal isn't compatible with the tree that they sent me so it was an absolutely waste
User Buyer Beware!! I purchased one open box flocked tree Upon delivery, I immediately put it together and one lower branch on the tree is broken, it fell on the floor. I’ve emailed and called the company immediately the same day the tree was delivered. I’m being told via email and verbally by their customer service to “fix the branch and try to raise it back in place by bending it myself.” I was told to take pictures and video which I did. They send me a pin to resolve the issue that did not work. They ended up sending me part A of the tree. I had to wait for the part to be delivered once again. Once the part was delivered I put up the tree together. Now the top part doesn’t light up. They send me a video to trouble shoot the tree. I follow directions and send pictures. That did not resolve the issue. I was send another video to trouble shoot the tree once again to make sure I did connect the tree wrong. That did not work. I am now waiting for customer service to reply once again. It’s been past two weeks since I bought the tree going back and forth with them. I spoke to a supervisor, I did not agree to purchase a defected/broken tree but because it was an “open box” item, they are refusing to exchange, replace or refund me for their mistake of shipping out a used, broken, defective item. So now I am stuck paying for a broken “open box” tree. Lesson learned. Do not purchase anything from King Of Christmas You’ll regret it! I am working on calling the news. Worst company ever.
Terrible cheap tree manufactured in China. Inside branches are of a cheaper material, the kind you get on a $50 Wal Mart tree. Only 2/3 of each branch looks ok. Branches closer to the pole don't even match the same color as the outside branches. Not to mention after a lot of shaping, it still looks like a sickly tree that was left behind at a real tree farm. King of Christmas does not show their negative reviews. DON'T BUY ONE!!! Saw better and cheaper trees at Lowes.
User Buyer Beware!! I purchased 2 open box trees. One flocked and one not. Ordered a month ago, emailed question of timing, got Chana Post/17 Track tracking, followed it to the US, in Florida, where it (whatever "it" might be...") was delivered. Only I LIVE IN IOWA!! Message answers were always well written, until the last, after I complained of the delivery mistake, is in broken english, but says they will fix the problem. So I wait. Called CC co., they said give it another few days for their answer like they asked....we'll see!! Doubtful, doncha thinK?
Wow what a nightmare. They say they can ship everything in 2 days! Its right there at check out, no other option for shipping, just their amazingly fast shipping of 2 days. Well of course after you click pay and the shipment is processed in an hour or so, then they email you and let you know its actually going to be 4 days. Then after 4 days no tress, they email to tell you it will be 5-7 days. Then half you order arrives. Yep the trees come at separate times in separate boxes. Don't trust the hype, they aren't any better than something you'd find at a specialty store locally. And trust me they are more expensive. Plus the 12ft tree after it was set up was wobbly and leaned to either side, it never stood straight up and looked funky.
I live in Portland, OR. Ordered a tree on November 25. It was supposed to arrive in 3 days. After a week I tried calling the company but never got a person. i started tracking it. It made it finally to Portland from Southern California after 10 days but never got delivered to me. Then tracked it to Georgia!!! I sent email to complain about it. To shut me up, they emailed back that they are sending free ornaments.which I don’t want. It is now December 11 and still no tree. Terrible customer service. Never answer phone calls. If no tree tomorrow, i will contact my credit card company for a refund. I have tried several times to reach somebody on the phone. Never got someone to speak with.
I bought at blue dutch flocked tree last year. Who knew this fake tree came with so many cord hook ups it has turned out to be the nightmare tree from Elm Street. It is not lighting up claims to have a 2 year warranty not sufficient help on this tree diagrams and video are terrible. There is no one to talk to OR ANSWER CALLS! did answer and email not sufficient.
