Worst Experience with KAVAK

I wanted to sell my car, that i purchased from KAVAK that was previously called CARZATY a year back. I had an appointment for today at 7:00pm in abu dhabi and they just called me to cancel my appointment because no one is available and they want me to wait until Monday and she didn't bother helping me with the timing I need instead she just insisted on her own timings which wasn't helpful at all, they also suggested that if I don't have 2 keys for the car then they are going to charge me while they were the ones who gave me 1 key rather than 2 keys because as they mentioned previously that the car had only 1 key, and honestly god knows what else is hidden from those people. Worst customer service and worse company I've ever dealt with.

Didnt know many had so low reviews for kavak … i had bad experience too … they are i guess good if car sold in dubai but have to face to many hassles for buying car into abu dhabi …they dont give discount .. they dont spend any money out of their pocket for documentation and transportation everything they want to charge to customer in name of being transparent their people dont know procedure for car transfer . They need original emirates id of a person and wont arrange for logistics or guarantee for it … overall worst experience would say if you have to buy car outside dubai from them , then dont go to kavak for sure

They sold me a car with a bunch of accidents and bunch of parts replaced and painted and they did not inform me about any of it. Terrible company stay away.

COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED AND LOST MONEY!!
DON’T TRUST KAVAK! I received offer of 195800 AED to sell my car to Kavak then I scheduled inspection on 1st of July 2023 at 2PM and got confirmation call for both the offered price and inspection time then before 30 minutes of my inspection they called me and said our offer is suddenly revised to 177k for no reason without even seeing the car!! I have cancelled all my paid ads as I was very confident my car will pass the inspection without any comment and was 100% sure that I’ll sell the car to KAVAK but suddenly they just revised the price after confirming it!!

Two major negatives

Two major negatives. The first is that they do virtually nothing to help you with the bureaucracy in terms of getting plates for the vehicle, which generates a lot of extra work for the buyer.
The second, in my case, was that the car was delivered with a bad battery. To their credit, they towed the car and replaced it. But the "new" battery continued to lose its charge far too often - i.e. if I didn't use the car for a week, the battery would be completely dead. I finally took it to a Mazda dealership where they installed a new battery (at the cost of several hundred dollars) and I have never had a problem since. Sure it would have cost Kavak a bit more to procure a new battery when then "repaired" it but now they have lost a customer and cost themselves good word of mouth.

Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional, they give you a high quote on your car at first then their final offer drops by 10k claiming that your car needs a lot of repair! By checking their website they sell above market price and want to buy your car significantly below the market value.

Don’t trust your car with this guys

Don’t trust your car with this guys, they will offer initial high qoutation of your car, then after hanging you up for a day, suddenly the price will go down, and their pricing of their for sale car is very high. Don’t waste your time with this people

I request immediate contact from upper management. We purchased a car for $15,000 USD that arrived with a lot of problems such as an electrical and battery issue making the car impossible to start, to a leaking air conditioner ruinning the inner carpets, and the splash guards arriving already falling off upon delivery. After taking it to have “fixed” at their Antara location and waiting weeks, the car was returned where they told us their was no air con issue and they had not reattached the guard. Within our first drive the air conditioner leaked profusely which we recorded by video and they asked to have us return for “fixing”. In the 7-months since purchasing the car, Kavak have had it in their repair shop for over 4 months and are STILL telling us they don’t know if it’s yet repaired or not as their “system” doesn’t indicate this. We purchased a product from you which you have NOT delivered nor did you give us the promised Uber coupons only continually costing and wasting our money. We request a manager contact us immediately before we pursue legal action for this theft and complete waste of our time and money. Keep your junk car and give us our money back, you’ve been nothing but time wasters and thieves.

We demand refund, have a manager contact us immediately as we are taking legal action. We paid 15k USD for your undelivered product.

Después de llevarlo a "arreglar" en su ubicación de Antara y esperar semanas, el automóvil fue devuelto donde nos dijeron que no había problemas con el aire acondicionado y que no habían vuelto a colocar la protección. En nuestro primer viaje, el aire acondicionado goteaba profusamente, lo cual grabamos en video y nos pidieron que lo devolviéramos para "arreglarlo". En los 7 meses desde que compró el automóvil, Kavak lo ha tenido en su taller de reparación durante más de 4 meses y TODAVÍA nos dice que no sabe si ya se reparó o no, ya que su "sistema" no lo indica. Le compramos un producto que NO entregó ni nos dio los cupones de Uber prometidos, lo que solo nos costó y malgastó nuestro dinero continuamente. Solicitamos que un gerente se comunique con nosotros inmediatamente antes de emprender acciones legales por este robo y una completa pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Quédese con su auto chatarra y devuélvanos nuestro dinero, no ha sido más que una pérdida de tiempo y ladrones.

Exigimos un reembolso, haga que un gerente se comunique con nosotros de inmediato ya que estamos tomando medidas legales. Pagamos 15k USD por su producto no entregado.

Stay away from Kavak, they are crooked as hell.

Well, they sent an inspector to do an inspection on the car I was selling to Kavak. The inspector said I had no spare tire which was not true. I sent photo's. They then said my spare was damaged. How could it be damaged when they said I did not have a spare? My spare was never used. I again sent photos. They wanted me to get my car inspected again. The deducted 5000 MXN from me for not having a spare. They wanted me to get an RFC that was less than three months old. A RFC is like a SS number in the states....it does not change!! Here in Puebla, you cannot even get an appt. at SAT. Kavak said the offer to buy my car expires in 5 days and they would give me 50% of the original offer after I sign the title over and then they said they would give me the other 50% after I get a updated RFC!!! NO WAY!! There is nothing wrong with the RFC I currently have. There is no reason for them to have an RFC from a seller as I should not have to pay any taxes on the sale. I paid taxes when I bought the car from Kavak a year ago. The customer support was terrible. They lie. They try to cut the value of the original offer by any means possible. Stay away!!!!! The person I was dealing with was "Samantha M."

Absolutely Shocking

Absolutely shocking! It's all tours and smiles up until you have the car for a month or two and start calling them to fix issues. That's when they disappear. They always blame people and their driving. Very unfortunate and disappointing.

Car was delivered knowingly with some faults, requests for repair of these faults have gone unanswered. Car was delivered on their schedule, which resulted in a large delay as offices were closed for the weekend. Monies are still owed by the company to myself for overpayment, you pay for a premium service, and it seems like what we get his sub par, I would avoid buying a car from these guys again.

Terrible service

Terrible service. They reply on your messages with a hug delay. And after you pay all money at the latest step unexpectedly all system to finish registration are down and they can’t do anything. They don’t go to other offices to finish it, they don’t solve problems, just keep lying and not doing their work

The experience was great

The experience was great, all the procedures were pleasant. The only thing I can say or give my opinion is about the time I had to wait for the inspection of my car, it was a long time, maybe it could do quicker, or the time to expect be shorter.
